How to Delete crashreporter files on iPad 1 on iOs 5.1.1

I would like to know what is supposed to do to delete old crashreporter dump files on the iPad to make room for new incidents crash reports
I am getting now
..... ReportCrash[114] <Error>: Failed to save memory report to /Library/Logs/CrashReporter/LowMemory-2014-03-07-135429.plist using uid: 0 gid: 0, euid: 0 egid: 0. 100 logs already present.
and unable to save new reports
I saw some information about deleting the files through iFile or ssh but this would need the iPad to be jailbroken - so not an option for me.
I have been unable to find any posts or information to advise on how to purge old CrashReporter files

Anybody from Apple here on these forums?
Surely the answer can't be to jail-break the iPad or reset to factory defaults !

I recently used the camera connection kit to download photos (JPEG and Raw) from my Canon G12 to my iPad. Since I have gotten home, I have been transferring the photos to iPhoto on my MacBook Pro. When I try to delete the photos from my iPad, it will delete the JPEG but not the CR2 Raw file. Since the Photos app on the iPad doesn"t "see" the Raw files, I can't delete them directly on the iPad and there doesn't seem to be any way to do it from iPhoto when my iPad is connected to my MacBook Pro. Other than the browser items that King Penguin has described for you, there are no temporary files that are stored on the iPad. The iPad iOS does not work the same that a computer's OS works. There is nothing to delete.

Question: why isn't how to delete a file available.

How come you have to search for the information on how to delete a file from Adobe Reader. This should be in the instructions on how to use with how to download. Does anyone agree?

If it is a system file and even if the file is corrupted, it cannot be deleted.
Try reinstalling phone software using Nokia suite if the phone supports Nokia suite and an USB port.

Any one know how to delete a file in Keynote remote app for iPhone4? I uploaded a Keynote file from iDisk to my iphone and I can't delete the file. The file does not show up when I connect my phone to iTunes.
I also cannot connect my Iphone to Keynote anymore because of this file.

The file is actually in the Keynote app and not the Keynote remote app for iPhone.

First off, you CANNOT set recent documents to zero. The absolute minimum it will accept is 1. And on my MacMini, (I just checked it to be 100% sure) I opened seven documents with Recent Docs set to 10 - they were ALL listed. I set it to 1 and all but the most recent cleared. I then closed Reader and reopened it. The list was 1 item. I reset Recent Docs to 10 and there was still only 1 item in the list.

I have an application consisting of 2 pages. in the 1st page i will give some input details and when i click on submit, some java code is getting executed in the back. That java code generates a csv file in the server location. after succesful execution of java code, i was redirected to 2nd page. In 2nd page, i am giving option to download and when the user clicked on download button and after the file is downloaded -- in the backend i am deleting the file from the server. Till this point everything is fine. But if the user didnt click on the Download button and instead if he closes the browser, the csv file gets remained on the server itself. This is the issue i am facing .. I am not able to get an idea in ADF Framework, how to delete a file when the browser is closed. Please help me out in this.

ADF has nothing to do with tracking browser close buttons. What you can do is call a JS function and call the method which deletes the file from within the JS function. ADF has a component for calling java code from JS call.

No - the Word files do not need to be saved in any other format if you have Pages on your iPad. There are other apps that provide better compatibility than Pages but it will work for you. You have to have DropBox on your PC and the free DropBox app on the iPad to use DropBox to transfer files.
To send the file using DropBox - make sure DropBox is running on your computer. Then place the file in one of the folders that you have set in your DropBox folder on your PC. Launch DropBox on your iPad and find the folder that you placed the file into and tap on that folder. Find the document and tap on it. It will open in the window on the right. Tap the arrow icon in the upper right corner and select Open in Pages.
If you have pdf files in iBooks that you want to put into Pages you have to email them to yourself and use the Open In feature when you open the email. You cannot send a file from iBooks other than to email it - at least I am not aware of any other way.
