When I want to delete a custom AET field created by a mistake or for exercising purposes only, the UI Config tool markes it for deletion by changing a status to "Marked for Deletion" (a garbage bucket icon). My question is how to proceed further, i.e. eliminate the field completely. Do I need to manually delete the fields from the "Append" structures in the corresponding CRMS_xxxx Attribute structure, or do something like this?

note: please do not delete the field manually from SAP GUI.
AET is able to create and delete custom field. The deletion process happens always in 2 steps.
1. you select which field you want to delete and press on delete icon. This will mark the field to be deleted.
As long, you do not "Save and Generate". This deletion mark will not be persisted and the complete deletion of the field will not be executed. Having this mechanism, you are always able to cancel the deletion.
2. If you really want to delete the field. Press on "Save and Generate". "Save" will persist the deletion mark for the field.
And "Generate" will do the "Delete" generation.
Please don't forget to remove the field from the UI configuration, when you configured the field in any UI Config before.

How to delete custom extensions

Dear Members,
I have extended the CO of the page 'Supplier Base Management: Register User'
After extended the CO, I opened the respective page and at the responsibility level I have given the wrong CO Path. Now when I am trying to go back to the page to change the path, it is giving an error.
The error is like this:
Could not create java class this is probably because the class name is wrong or not included in the page.
I just want to know how to delete or update the custom extension which I gave in this page.

There was some problem while creating this post. It gave me an error of gate way timed out and resulted in duplicate posts.It is OK.
Please let me know how to delete these duplicate posts.Just do not update those duplicate posts and update the original one instead.

Unintentionally I made a customer exit include by double-clicking standard customer exit.
I tried to delete this include, but I can't delete it because of reference is alread made it.

Guess you are referring to an include.
We can delete the object from SE38 transaction.
1. Goto Transaction: SE38
2. Enter the include name you created
3. Click on Delete button from application toolbar.
4. Confirm deletion.

u can use transaction se11 to delete the corresponding customised domain, data element etc. (if any), and finally delete the structure CI_Pnnnn.
if u have already input data in the field, u have to firstly delete these data.

How to delete customized include.

In the EKPO table there is one customized include with name "CI_EKPODB" ,now whats my requirment is I have to delete that include from EKPO table.I deleted that "CI_EKPODB" structure by using SE11 transaction.But still now its showing the name in EKPO table.But that include structure is not in Data Base.But it appears in EKPO table.I need to delete that one from EKPO table also. I have saved custom templates and then revised them and saved again. I now have several I need to delete. Also, how to delete custom templates? Also, how do I delete blank pages? I hate sending pdf's with a blank page at the end. Thank you very much for your help!

Pages stores those you created & saved as templates in (your account) > Library > Application Support > iWork > Pages > Templates > My Templates. The user's Library is hidden in Lion but it is easy to open. In Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking on the Go menu & your user Library will appear about halfway down the list.

Delete customs append structure issue

Hi Gurus,
I added a customs append structure with a 'YY' field in one of LO extractr structures.
Now I don't need that field, I need to delete that customs append structure and field from the extract structure. I deleted that 'YY' field but I don't how to delete customs append structure which one I created.
Please advice ?

Goto SE11 -> Give append structure name ..should be ZA* and select delete option , This will delete append structrure ref. from extract structure.

I tried that also
but after running the BAPI its not updating with space.
Why BAPI is not doing that because it is not inj the emil format.
first it is checking the mail id has some letters before and after @, than only its updating .
Please suggest me which BAPI i have to use to delete the contact person mail id .

The only way is to archive the customer. If the requirement is to prevent the customer from being used then try VD05 and block the customer.Another alternative is to write code in the user exit mv45afzb and check if the customer is marked for deletion then give an error message

You can edit with wordpad, or notepad++, but not with notepad,
because there is one word per line and you will not see that in notepad after Firefox has updated it.  Update after closing Firefox.
I will have to change my Spell Check documentation to not suggest notepad

I dont think you can delete a customer. you can market it for deletion in XD06.
for deleting customer master data you have to setup an archiving project.

How to delete a custom format in Numbers 3

I am one of the poor unfortunates that has upgraded to Numbers 3 BIG mistake!!
However does anyone know how to delete a custom format in Numbers 3?
I'm not sure where the custom format came from in the erlier version of numbers. I guess I must have created it for something, I can't remember what.
It now appaers that when I send a Numbers 3 document via email to an Excel format it adds a weird custom format that turns currency into garbage. Once in Excel simply going to format cells and deleting this odd format cures the problem.
If I could find a way of deleting it in Numbers 3, hopefully the problem will go away.
This is far from the only problem I'm having with Numbers 3. It's begining to look like I'll have to abandon Numbers 3 having had to go to the expense of buying a new iPad because Numbers 3 documents (and presumably Pages Keynote etc) no longer work on the original iPad.

I never promote the method the deletion unless you understand the underlying tables of planning, if you search on the forum you will see posts on the subject just like this one - Delete dimension from planning application
