Can the diagnostic and usage data be deleted?

Resetting the phone (pressing and holding the Home and power buttons until the Apple appears), doesn't delete any data.
To the best of my knowledge, the only way to delete those files is by restoring the phone.

You would have to restore the iPad and set it up as new. The data would eventually come back as you use the iPad so you may as well not worry about it. It uses very little space on the iPad.

Hi, I am very new to iPad/Apple (sorry), have been operating with Windows for so long now, and have recently bought a new iPad 3 Wi Fi Cellular.
I was wondering around my iPad yesterday and noticed under > Settings > General > About > Diagnostics and Usage Data > Data - pages of apps
I had downloaded and tried out etc, and than deleted those apps - no longer using them, but all this information is still on my Data page.
Could you please tell me please how to delete all this data, I have tried unsuccessfully. I have deleted a great many apps, but the data is still there - I would like to know how to clear or delete the diagnostic and usage data please?
The other question I have is that all this data must be taking up kb/mb/space on my iPad.
Thank you so much for your help and advice ~ greatly appreciated.

How to clear/delete diagnostic and usage data records?

The records under diagnostic and usage getting more each day and i have no ideas on how to delete it. Have try to sync with pc via iTunes and off the function under setting/privacy/location service/systems services/diagnostic and usage. Non works, please HELP!

How can I delete diagnostics and usage data from my Ipod 4.1?

In settings, General, About there is Diagnostics and Usage. I went in there to find many logs, Low Battery, Low Memory logs and Stacks which I don't even know what they are. Is there a way to delete this? Should I ever save any? Are they important? I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thank you in advance for any quick fix on this matter, if there is ever one lol.

Problem removing Diagnostic and Usage Data Log

I have had several iPod crashes and ironically that's not my problem. The problem is the Diagnostic and Usage Data log is getting larger and larger. I have my iPod Touch 4th Gen. set to not send reports to Apple and I do no see any way to delete or editing it. Is there a way to delete the log or remove some of its lines of reports or dose it have to be sent to Apple to remove it?

I may be a little rusty on the rules here but I didn't think hijacking a thread was not aloud. If it was me I would have started my own thread instead of taking the original question in a different direction. Just sayin.

Reactivate Console's "Automatically Send Anonymous Diagnostic and Usage Data to Apple"

I accidentally unchecked "Automatically Send Anonymous Diagnostic and Usage Data to Apple" on Console Preferences and immediately after that, this option grayed out, don't understand why. For me it's ok to send that information, I understand it helps to improve Apple's software performance and future software updates.
Could you please help me to reactivate this automatically?

As I am writing this I don't see a way to reenable that checkbox (I'll keep searching). FWIW the Console help says the following about that checkbox:
If you deselect “Automatically send diagnostic and usage data to Apple”, you will no longer see the option. When you encounter one of the events described earlier, you’ll see the message asking if you want to send diagnostic information to Apple.
So unless I can find a way to reset it (haven't looked at plists yet or did any real research) it appears to be a one way switch. Once thrown, it's off, period.

Everytime I look Diagnostic & usage data I see full of crash reports such as Log-aggregate, LowMemory, assistivetouchd and etc... This crashes/crash report should be the reason why my ipod touch 4th gen is slow, sometimes hangs for a second and sometimes crash apps. I already tried to reduce the memory usage to 50% and momentarily double click home button to remove the applications running at the back but still crash reports are adding and reach about 100 and still increasing! Please help me to solve this problem. Maybe give me a tip on how to avoid, minimize or remove this crashes / crash reports on my ipod touch. thank you.

Does anyone know how to delete the incredible amount of diagnostic logs that appear every day after i've updated iphone4 to ios5? They refer mainly to low memory and app crashes issues. Well, my case is that this doesn't resolved my situation. With iOS 5.0.1 they were deleted when I synced my iPhone 4S with iTunes, but with the latest update, it doesn't happen anymore. It just keeps building up and right now I'm out of memory! I've tried almost everything that I found here, but nothing works; just the files of Low Memory on my phone got deleted, but awdd are still there and are more than 200. Can someone help me please? I love and know tecnology, but this one got me between the sword and the wall.

Sending Anonymous Diagnostic and Usage Data to Apple Grayed Out

I mistakingly hit Agree, in iTunes, to send diagnostic information to Apple about my computer. I did not intend to to that. I did some research in Apple's knowledge base and found a help article telling me I could disable it by opening Console and disabling the checkmark at the bottom of the dialog window under preferences.
I even tried right clicking on my iPhone in iTunes and selecting "Reset Warnings." However I still do not receive the window that prompts me to Agree or Disagree about sending diagnostic data. I do not want to, but cannot figure out how to change this.
Can anyone help here?

When something crashes you will always get a message to that effect. If you enable automatic sending of data to Apple then you won't be asked to agree or disagree about sending: it you disable it you will be. I should just send the data automatically - it's sent anonymously, and it's nothing to worry about. All this only happens when there is a crash: hopefully you're not seeing this a lot? - it should be very rare.
