I am a returning Skype user. I could not find my old Skype account. So, I signed up for a new account yesterday. I paid for some credit with my credit card. Then, I found the old account which I prefer to use is still available. Now, I need help cancelling the new account I just added and getting a refund of the credit I purchased. I am not able to access the new account as Skype does not recognize my name, password and email address. I have tried to get in touch with Skype Customer Service to no avail. Could someone advise me on how to proceed? Thank you endlessly

You can't delete it, but you can create an email alias address to use that will receive email in your current iCloud inbox, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a. You can go to icloud.com, open Mail, click on the gear shaped icon on the upper right and choose preferences, go to the Vacation tab and set up an auto response saying that the account is no longer in use. Then go to Settings>iCloud and turn Mail to Off on your device and stop using the account.
Incoming email to the account will receive your vacation auto response, and eventually the mailbox will fill up and no longer receive mail at all.

How to delete old skype accounts

When skype asked me to change my pasword, it said that I have now 7 skype accounts. I made them on older computers. I only need one of them, and want to delete all the old ones, so that if people are trying to find me, they only see my current account.How do I proceed? thanks

Since I already set up an iCloud account using my school ID but need to access my home iCloud files, do I need to delete the iCloud school ID to get those home files? I believe so. If so, then can I use the same school ID and password later for iCloud or will it require that I change the password, etc.? Is there another way to get those home files without deleting the school ID?

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
When you do this, you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this happens, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

How to delete an iCloud account and turnoff Find my Phone for a email address that does not exist

I have switched my itunes account to a new email address but the iCloud account is still registered to the old email account which I can no longer access.
If I go to Settings>iCloud it requests my Apple ID password for the old email account but as this account does not exsist it does not accept the "old" password. it will not let me delete the account without turning off the Find My Phone app which aslo needs the old password.
A related probelm is none of my apps will update as they are on the old account hence the need to delete the iCloud email account and create the new iCloud with the new email sign on address.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address (you won't need to verify it) and save the change. You should now be able to use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. After turning it off you can delete the account, go back change your ID back to the way it was again.

I have not used my iTunes account for 2 years and want to access it for apps that I purchased 2 or more years ago.
I tried re-eneabling my account, and Apple has sent authorisation details that allow me to sign in, but I cannot see any of my old purchased applications.

If you are signed into that account (via the Store > Sign In drop-down menu option) and they are still in the store then they should show under the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page : re-downloading.

How to delete a playlist? AND Get CD music to my iPod?

I just got a new MacBook and authorized it to my iPod and all my iTunes music transferred...
1) They are manual playlists (blue background with a black music note) but when i select them and click delete they wont. The songs within them are grey (like you cant select it) so i cant edit or delete any part of it. I didn't create any of these (they are On-The-Go playlists) How can I delete all of them?
2) I but a CD and it appears in my Music Library but when I sync my iPod the songs wont transfer. What gives?
*Ive moved from Windows to Mac. I didnt have any of these problems with the iPod when it was on Windows, so I dont know whats changed*

My iphone4s 16GB is quite full .
I wish to delete some game (Galaxy on Fire for example) to have some free space. But i don't want to loose all what i gained during the 45h of play I spent in this game... I want to be able to re-install this game later and find my last save.
Can you tell me how to proceed?

You can't do that easily.
Find another way to free up space, because even if you were able to strip the save data for this game from your device (just do a google search to see how complicated that is) there isn't any guarantee that would even work if you put it back on.

Apple ID's cannot be deleted.
There is only one password for the Apple ID... not sure why you believe you've forgotten "half your passwords".
Maybe if you explain a little more clearly we can offer a better solution.

no i called the store owner from whom i bought it. he was like i will check in records and if there is something i will let u know...he was like send an e-mail its better so if it was stolen so the shopkeeper wouldnt let me to e-mail to the owner

You can't merge Apple IDs. You also can't cancel (delete) and existing ID, you can only choose to stop using it.
If your old ID was compromised and you can no longer access it, you'll have to contact Apple for assistance. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services' at the bottom of the page. In the next page click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then then 'Apple ID account Security’.

I have duplicate mail accounts and deleted messages keep redownloading in gmail

I am using Mountain Lion and I have a me.com email account, gmail account, and sbcglobal.net account. I set up my accounts in iMail and I use iCloud, but now I have duplicate mail accounts and every time I delete messages from my gmail account, the next time I go into Mail, all the deleted messages are back in my gmail account. How do I stop this from happening and how do I make it so that I don't have duplicates of everything!

All 3 email accounts show up under Inbox, but all three also show up as iCloud, sbcglobal.net, and gmail. The iCloud account will occasionally get duplicates, the sbcglobal.net account only gets mail that sbcglobal.net has put into a "bulk" folder and seems to be all junk mail and does not show up in the sbcglobal.net inbox account and the gmail shows up in both places, but I can delete messages in the gmail inbox account and they do not download again, but the second gmail account is the one that keeps redownloading the already deleted messages into the gmail "all mail" folder. I have tried deleting the gmail account and have gone to gmail's help page, but they are behind with set up for Mac Mail. The set up is for Mail 3.0 and not 6.2. It keeps downloading over a thousand emails into this gmail "all mail" folder. Is there any way to stop this?
