How to delete event from iCloud

How do you delete an event from iCloud on iOS devices? I have an appointment (sent from outside) that I accepted into iCal and now want to delete (or decline) the event. I can delete it on my Mac but not on iOS devices (iPad 2 & iPhone 3Gs both using latest software). If I try to delete the event on iCloud from the web I get an error that says "This event could not be deleted due to a server error. Please try again"

Look like you have duplicate calendars. Find the name of the calendar on your iPhone and the color of the event labels. Then look at your computer. Find the one with the different label/name/color. You can delete that calendar.

Can't delete event from iCloud

I had a recurring event in one of my iCloud calendars. No matter what I do -- on iCloud or from within iCal -- from deleting each event manually to deleting all at the very beginning and all Future Events, it won't delete. It keeps coming back. The only calendars I have are iCloud -- nothing from Google or computer-only.
Is there a way to force delete an event?

I don't know if this is the same for others who have this problem, but in my case, the stuck event was one that I was invited to by someone else.
I'm not entirely sure I fixed it, but I might have -- while I couldn't edit most of the fields of the event (and get them to stick), I could move it to a different calendar, so I created a dummy calendar, moved it there, and then deleted the calendar. So far, the event from **** hasn't come back...

when I go to delete my apps there they are... in the purchased section of the apps store, so if it wasn't in iCloud then I didn't need the storage... even tho it kept saying I didn't have enough room.

Either your iPad or your computer did not have enough room and iTunes would have told you this.
Perhaps you should look up the word "extortion"...

Just to be clear as well - your purchases and account history have nothing to do with iCloud. Purchase history is stored online by Apple, associated with your AppleID, but they do not reside in your iCloud account and have nothing to do with your iCloud storage space or your iCloud account (your iCloud account can also be with a completely different AppleID then you use for the iTunes or App stores).
So if you are having a problem with your iCloud account or storage, even if you could erase all your purchase history, it would not have any affect on your iCloud account at all.

How can I delete events from the iPad calendar?

I can add events although not particularly user friendly. I cannot seem to remove them and/or just reset the whole calendar. At this point, I'll just use my trusty paper planner! I did try searching the forums and looking in the deficient iPad manual. Thanks in advance.

How do you actually delete stuff from iCloud?

My icloud says it's full, so I've deleted my archive, trash and sent items. That should have freed up at least half of my storage (I deleted it on the Web client and it shows empty folders on my iphone). But my MacBook still shows my storage as full. Help!!

That is how you delete data from iCloud. If your storage is not reflecting the change, the only reason I can think of for this would be iCloud storage buffering (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4873). If that's what's going on, according the the article:
"Your iCloud Storage allocation will readjust itself automatically, but only once another iCloud feature uses the previously allocated space."

Use iPhone/iPad to Permanently Delete Songs from iCloud/iTunes Match

I have iCloud and iTunes Match, but I am doing my annual "spring cleaning" (yes, I know it's winter) of songs I don't really listen to or want to keep anymore. I want to delete them permanently from iCloud/iTunes Match. I used to do this in iTunes on a computer. I would delete them from the Song list and it would prompt me with a question to the effect of "Do you want to delete these from iCloud as well?"
Well, I am operating solely on an iPhone and an iPad now. I don't have a computer anymore. So I don't have iTunes software anymore and thus don't have this means of deleting songs from iCloud. I don't know how to delete songs from iCloud USING my mobile device. If I delete a song from a playlist or from the device itself, it is still out there in iCloud and still shows up in the list of songs at my disposal. I DON'T want to cheat the system and turn off the settings feature that "shows all music" in iCloud because then I won't be able to see anything I have at my disposal in iCloud. I want to be able to see my songs in iCloud, but I want to be able to permanently delete from said iCloud songs that I don't care about anymore.
So how do I do it from iOS devices?
Please don't tell me it can't be done without iTunes on a computer. That will just irritate me and drive another nail in the coffin of my growing frustration with Apple.

I honestly don't think you can do it. Nothing I've found online allows you to do this, which is awful because these songs still show up and play when on shuffle. I've even selected "only show me music on this device" and I still see some songs I've deleted and are only on icloud and I have no option to swipe and delete. I'm with you... forcing me to do this on my pc when every other need for syncing has since been removed is very annoying.

Deleting songs from iCloud seems to not be working for me?

I'm having a huge problem currently. I have read the faqs on "How to delete songs from iCloud?" and understand it perfectly. But tonight I'm trying to delete this album out off my computer and it was deleted because I seen the album go straight to the trash. I emptied the trash can and for some reason when I go to click "Update iTunes Match". The album I deleted pops back up via iCloud. Now I then deleted that hoping the songs would delete from the iCloud also. Well loe and behold the songs came back again via iCloud. These aren't purchases made via iTunes. These are songs I've uploaded using a purchased music CD from Best Buy. And they seem to not be able to leave iCloud for some reason. No matter how many times I have to delete them.
Is there any way around this?
I have iTunes Match and I'm using a MacBook Pro (OS Mavericks).

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post it appears that you are both logged in to the same Apple ID in your Messages settings, which would cause you to get the same messages on both devices. If you select "Send & Recieve" in your Messages settings, you will likely see the same Apple ID logged in on both devices.
