How to delete flv files from iPhone library

Hi, I am a newbie to iOS and I am using factory unlocked iPhone 4s with iOS 7. I have added some flv files to library and synced them to iPhone using iTunes. But as iPhone doesn't support flv files so I can't see them in movies. They have claimed disk space and I need to figure out some way to delete them to reclaim disk space.
Kindly help

Sorry I had to reply through your profile Gail from Maine, my PC has java issues. In any event, when I delete them directly from my device everything is perfect and cool. However, in the rare instance I want to add new music that I actually buy in stores (I know, quite the unique and old-fashioned idea...but hey Im an audiophile) once I upload the tunes, everytime I sync my library it re-adds everything that I spent hours deleting. In a perfect world, I thought I could maintain a massive iTunes Library, and add or delete (remove) songs from my iPhone to save both memory or keep my iPhone selections more current/apt to my musical "tastes" at that time. I know about the whole playlist thing, but thought there might be an easier way. ie - checking/un-checking the little box next to the song name, and then doing a sync. Again, everytime I do this however, whether everything is checked or un-checked it adds the entire library! So frustrating. Any suggestions. Thank you graiously in advance for your help.

hmm. for some strange reason after doing that it just simply warns me that in deleting the song(s) it will ruin my playlists/mess up songs currently on my ipod.

Just as a book is in the public library and in the fiction section, your pics are in the Photo Library and in your folder. There is only one pic, simply two places from which to access the same pic.
If you want to delete pics synced to you iphone, then deselect them in itunes and sync.

you're missing the concept of iM .. you don't move 'files' from Event to Project Library.. Events is the big box of all your imported clips; now, from that box of bricks, you drag the clips into all kind of projects.. you can 're-use' the same clip again'n again in many projects.. you can use all clips of all Events in one Project.. or all clips of one Event in two projects.. or..

Anyone know how to delete an App from itunes library?

Hi All,
I have a number of Apps that I have tried to remove from my itunes account. These are just games that I no longer play or have never played.
First I tried selecting the App in itunes, then Edit/Delete then it will ask you if you want to remove file. Then I emptied the trash.
This did not work. Now every time an update is available for the previously deleted App it will download that update then try and re-download the full game.
Secondly I have tried going to "finder" and finding the file on the Mac HD. and then deleting the file/game this way.
This also did not work and again the game is try to re-download.
As you can imagine this is becoming quite annoying and is starting to clog up my downloads when I check for other updates.
Can anyone help???

If I only want to delete one file from a cd that contains many files, how do I do this? I don't want to erase the whole cd!

1. find 700 MB of free space somewhere, you have it i'm sure. if not back-up & delete old stuff...
2. copy the whole CD to there
3. delete that one file
4. burn a new CD (this is the one step i'm not sure you're able to do locally - hence your question. or?)
5. allow burn to verify. then test it as mounted.
6. if o.k., use sturdy scissors and cut the previous CD in half. or use s'th sharp and dig into the data side...
i'm partial to the cutting in half approach. apparently putting a CD into a microwave destroys it too, and i hear the process results in interesting visual effects, but if you go that route i suggest you do this in someone else's microwave and from a safe distance...
