How to delete icloud and still use find my iphone and delete old purchases
hi everyone,
i want to get rid of my i cloud accout as i think i use nothing on it.
how do i do this?
if i delete it can i use find my iphone?
also in itunes, purchases,app
there are about 100 apps i would like to DELETE not hide, this somehow is also connected to icloud
any help will be great.
im not very good with itunes or computers so please explain it to me in very easy terms

Find My iPhone REQUIRES an iCloud account.
iTunes purchases are permanently tied to the Apple ID (which is typically also the iCloud account) that they were acquired with.
The iCloud account is used on a daily basis by anyone with an iPhone.
iCloud accounts, which are Apple IDs, cannot be deleted.

However, because I modified the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast and nothing changed, I redirected it to another feed and then I deleted this feed.
Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

If you have an iCloud account, yes. You enable it on the iPhone by setting up your iCloud account. Then, in the iCloud account settings, enable the find my iphone feature. Now you can log in to your iCloud account via a web browser and track your phone (or use the find my phone app from the iTunes store on another iOS device).

Find My iPhone is good for misplaced iPhone but not good for thief and it was never meant to be.
You chance of getting it back is very small.
There are a few things you can try.
Try remote lock/wipe your iPhone through Find My iPhone.

You can report to the police, cell carrier (expensive cell charges for international calls, roaming etc)
Change all the passwords used in iPhone: Apple ID, E-mail, Bank Account ....

How do I get back my iPod if I can't use find my iphone and no internet on it?
I recently lost my iPod and I went back to go find it and it was gone, I filed a report on it being lost then stolen. The thing is I cant use Find my iPhone because I didn't have it on at the time. Also I reset my iPod because there was to much stuff on it. I never connected it to the wifi after i reset it. Please help.
I do have my serial number!You did all you could. The SN will only help identify the iPod as yours IF it is recovered. Make sure you change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod.

Do you mean you turned on Settings > iCloud > Find My Phone? If so, and it doesn't show up in iCloud now?
If the iPhone is not showing up in iCloud there is nothing after the fact that you can do. -
My Macbook can't seem to find my wireless router even though it is in use by my iphone and ipad. I have tried to use diagnostics and it tells me that the router is not switched on, but it is on.
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help I and the problem persists I would have a technician take a look at your iPad. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -

you did get e-mails but now you don't, does anyone know why?This firmware is expired. It cannot be used anymore. You'll need to update to the public release of iOS 6 to continue using it.
Download the firmware from Apple directly, then hold the Option key and click Restore in iTunes. Select the IPSW for the public version of iOS 6 and install that. -

The "Find My iPhone" app is used to locate/track your device. As noted above, having the app on a device does not turn on the service - you have to specifically turn the service within Settings. Without having done that, you can't find your device.

My iPhone 4 has been lost recently. I had turned my Find my iPhone enabled and my passcode was also on. Now that I lost my phone, the person who find my phone cannot be tracked in my assumption. If who ever has your phones - tries to unlock it while connected in any manner - you will be able to see the location on the icloud site

Solution to still use Find My iPhone for "old" iPods?

I manage a few K12 classroom sets of iPods (generation 4) and I foolishly updated all relevant apps in the iTunes library specific to our iOS project...I should have read, yes, but am more than frustrated that Find My iPhone no longer functions with iOS 6 as this "old" generation of iPods is not allowed to update to iOS 7. This was a piece of our security on these devices which no longer functions. And unfortunately the file version for Find My iPhone no longer exists in my iTunes library after I updated it and updating the file in Apple Configurator seems to have sealed my fate...
Just hoping that I have missed something obvious or that someone has a nice work around (like a copy of the "old" Find My iPhone file)...
Thanks.I don't know what you mean by the "file version for Find My iPhone". Are you referring to the Find My iPhone app? If that's what you mean, that app is not necessary for your iPods to be trackable. That app only goes on iOS devices you wish to do tracking from. All you need to do to be able to track your iPods (to the extent they can be tracked, which being WiFi-only devices is limited to locating the WiFi router the iPod is connected to) is set up Find My iPhone in the iCloud settings, and that works back to iOS 5. You can then track the devices via icloud.com on any system with a modern web browser.

Leave your contact info via Find My iPhone. The message will display next time it's connected to the internet, and when it does, you will receive an email telling you that the message is displayed and your iPod is located somewhere.
Chances are, you may never hear from it. Hope you have it running iOS 7.1 (which equips the device with Activation Lock, a feature that allow no one other than you access to your device) since for those running iOS 6 and below the device can be wiped and sold hands down. (It's worth mentioning though, iOS 7.0.x has a bug that allow some "clever" thieves to wipe your device despite the Activation Lock.)
Don't beat yourself up. You don't have to FaceTime it -- If a call could come through, so would a Find My iPhone message. (And you should receive an email message.) Just wait for a few days for any email message and if there is none, I'm sorry.
