Not on your end, no. Once an item enters the download queue, the user cannot remove it. Either let it complete the download (easiest) or contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form linked from the bottom of their Download FAQ web page and ask them if they'll remove the item from your queue for you.

Sorry I had to reply through your profile Gail from Maine, my PC has java issues. In any event, when I delete them directly from my device everything is perfect and cool. However, in the rare instance I want to add new music that I actually buy in stores (I know, quite the unique and old-fashioned idea...but hey Im an audiophile) once I upload the tunes, everytime I sync my library it re-adds everything that I spent hours deleting. In a perfect world, I thought I could maintain a massive iTunes Library, and add or delete (remove) songs from my iPhone to save both memory or keep my iPhone selections more current/apt to my musical "tastes" at that time. I know about the whole playlist thing, but thought there might be an easier way. ie - checking/un-checking the little box next to the song name, and then doing a sync. Again, everytime I do this however, whether everything is checked or un-checked it adds the entire library! So frustrating. Any suggestions. Thank you graiously in advance for your help.

Photos in your iPhone's camera roll are not included with the iTunes sync process except for being included with your iPhone's backup, which is created and updated by iTunes as the first step during the sync process.

Both include an option to delete the photos from your iPhone's camera roll after the import process is complete. Well, if they were synced fomr a computer then the iPhone says the computer "owns" them for instructional purposes. You have two options.
1) Plug your iPhone up to any computer with iTunes. You can get itunes at www.itunes.com Then tell it to sync photos, but then select no photos or an empty folder. This will override what the previous computer put on your iPhone.
2) Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings and say goodbye to everything including those synced photos. If you make a quick backup first in iCloud (be sure it finishes) then you can restore form your iCloud backup via Wifi and those synced photos wont be there. If they have not finished downloading yet, you can either let them finish and the right click on the file and select delete or contact Apple support to have them remove the file from your download queue. I've contacted them in the past to have this done and they have no problem doing this. Contact Apple by clicking on support at the top of the forum and then clicking on contact us on the page that opens.
If you want to delete shows or songs from iTunes, right click on one and select delete.

I noticed the movies were automatically uploaded to iCloud, and I had the option to download the movie from iCloud (iTunes/Purchased/Movies).
Being curious, I tapped the iCloud logo next to the movies and they downloaded again.
I now have two copies of each movie. I can delete from my iPhone the iTunes copies, but I cannot delete the iCloud copies.
The iTunes copies play.
The iCloud copies will not play as a I get a message that says "You do not have permission to access the requested resource".

I am undable to delete purchased tunes from my iPhone (4s, ios7.0.2) I can delete all other tunes through syncing on iTunes. However, purchased tunes remain on my iPhone. To the right of the title of the tune there is an image of a cloud with a arrow pointing downward. This indicates that the tune is to be downloaded. This is strange, as these tunes are already in iTunes. I tried touching the cloud to download the tunes onto my iPhone. Once all were downloaded, I went to settings, general, usage and to the music app. The I went to edit and delete. This did no good. The tunes are still there. I have tried this several times. On my last attempt, I download the tunes again (on my iPhone), the synced with iTunes. The tunes on my iPhone were temporarly gone, but soon came back. I do not want any of these tunes on my iPhone at this time. I don't know how to get rid of them.

When you see the song with the cloud icon, that means that the song is not on the phone, but can be downloaded from iCloud. If you would like to permantly delete the song from iCloud, you may find the following article helpful:
