How to delete MY posts?

I would like all my posts deleted and I will not sign in again after it is done.
Thanks!

Pervert,
You cannot delete your posts. Only a Host can accomplish that. And that may not happen without due cause.
If you just stop posting they will eventually be Archived.
What that means is, that if there are no additional responses in the Threads they reside in, the Topics will get continually pushed down on the Topics list. After a certain amount of time, maybe 2 to 6 months, the Threads will be locked, so no responses can be entered. But the Threads will not disappear.
Threads in heavily trafficked Forums, may be archived more rapidly than those in areas, with less activity.
The Topics that you started, will show your Alias, in the Author field of a main forum page, but eventually, readers will have to keep going to the succeeding pages to view them.
If someone were to do a Discussions Search, using these parameters:
Restrict by Category or Forum: All Categories
Restrict by Date Range: All
Restrict by Username: Your Alias
all of your posts, created since about 11/13/05, would be found.

  • How to delete my posts on this forum

    Hi,
Can someone tell me how I can delete my posts and any reply's to them, as people googling the site name can see the posts and my issues. This including a client who is very upset that they can all be seen.
    Thanks, help needed urgently.

Sometimes you can delete your own posts by logging in to these forums and then going to your posts (assuming you remember them all!!) and then looking for something like this:
This icon is at the left corner of your post that you have posted.  Have a look at it and post back.

Oh btw - I don't drink or use drugs - that isn't the answer.

  • How to delete a post?

I posted something on the skype community about 2 years ago and it no longer applies to my life now.  In it I left my skype information.  I no longer want to get skype requests in reference to my post.  Is there anyway to delete the posts or remove my personal skype information from the post?  I've gotten well over 1000 inquires and no longer wish to receive them.  It's aggravating me to the point of uninstalling skype.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you.

It's always a good idea not to post your direct contact information publicly. Especially in communities or discussion boards it's better to use their "Private message" features to exchange first.
Your older post including your personal information has been removed meanwhile.

  • How to delete my post?

    How?

If you have indavertently revealed confidential or embarrassing information, you can go back and edit the post, even the subject.
To request deletion of a post you can post a request at the "Community Feedback and Suggestions" forum under "Technology Network Community".

  • Delete old posts

does anyone know how to delete old posts on this forum?
i changed my username awhile back because i had used my real name, but i have just noticed that some of my old posts still have my real name
    thanks

If you can, post a link to the profile for your old Alias. One of the hosts will take a look and should be able to remove the posts for you.

Trying to delete this post. Anyone know how to delete a post? Actions just lets me edit this post.

Posts cannot be deleted by users.  If they are really terrible a level 2+ user can request they be removed and then the decision lies with the hosts for this service.

Maybe search the thread for dot mac addresses.. It seems like Apple should know that dot mac is invalid and be able to remove those posts with a script.

  • How to delete posts on Facebook and Twitter using ...

I've been using the Nokia Communities App for like a week, then I noticed that I typo-ed a Facebook status, also in Twitter. I couldn't edit it, and I couldn't find any option to delete it as well. How do you do that?

    Hi prinsipeOplok,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the fourm.
It's not possible to edit or delete a post via the Communities application. In order to do this you will have to log in to the Twitter or Facebook website via the internet browser on your phone and edit or delete from there.
Hope this clears things up, thank you for your feedback.

  • How can I remove or delete my posts and resign my membership with Adobe?

How can I remove or delete my posts and resign my membership with Adobe?

At the bottom see terms of use you own your content and can ask for its removal but it may remain in the sites backup.  The problem is your responsible to remove it and the way the site code works once an append is made to your's.  Your content becomes locked and you can no longer delete it. IMO part (c) is broken....
    3. Your Content.
3.1 Ownership. You retain all rights and ownership of your content. We do not claim any ownership rights to your content.
3.2 Licenses to Your Content in Order to Operate the Services. We require certain licenses from you to your content to operate and enable the Services. When you upload content to the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferrable license to use, reproduce, publicly display, distribute, modify (so as to better showcase your content, for example), publicly perform, and translate the content as needed in response to user driven actions (such as when you choose to store privately or share your content with others). This license is only for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.
3.3 Our Access. We will not access, view, or listen to any of your content, except as reasonably necessary to perform the Services. Actions reasonably necessary to perform the Services may include (but are not limited to) (a) responding to support requests; (b) detecting, preventing, or otherwise addressing fraud, security, unlawful, or technical issues; and (c) enforcing these terms.
    3.4 Sharing Your Content.
    (a) Sharing. Some Services may provide features that allow you to Share your content with other users or to make it public. “Share” means to email, post, transmit, upload, or otherwise make available (whether to us or other users) through your use of the Services. Other users may use, copy, modify, or re-share your content in many ways. Please consider carefully what you choose to Share or make public as you are entirely responsible for the content that you Share.
    (b) Level of Access. We do not monitor or control what others do with your content. You are responsible for determining the limitations that are placed on your content and for applying the appropriate level of access to your content. If you do not choose the access level to apply to your content, the system may default to its most permissive setting. It’s your responsibility to let other users know how your content may be shared and adjust the setting related to accessing or sharing of your content.
    (c) Comments. The Services may allow you to comment on content. Comments are not anonymous, and may be viewed by other users. Your comments may be deleted by you, other users, or us.
3.5 Termination of License. You may revoke this license to your content and terminate our rights at any time by removing your content from the Service. However, some copies of your content may be retained as part of our routine backups.
3.6 Feedback. You have no obligation to provide us with ideas, suggestions, or proposals (“Feedback”). However, if you submit Feedback to us, then you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license that is sub-licensable and transferrable, to use, reproduce, publicly display, distribute, modify, and publicly perform the Feedback.
    3.7 Account Information.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs via your account. Please notify Customer Support immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. You may not (a) Share your account information (except with an authorized account administrator) or (b) use another person’s account. Your account administrator may use your account information to manage your use and access to the Services.

Actually I didnt realize you would respond so quickly. I was wondering if you could bring my posts in the following forum
Re: I can't get ios7 on my ipod touch
to the attention of the host(s) so it can be flagged for deletion?
I apologize for the remarks I made there (they were simply out of frustration for the subject at hand), and I realize it's no reason to slander a company for their policies/vision regardless of whether I agree with them or not.
Seeing you are well above a Level 3 member, I'd appreciate if you could assist with that in all seriousness, thank you.

we'll look into why this option disappeared.   it could be a problem with the 'guru' role.   we've noticed glitches like this in the software so i'm not surprised.

  • How do I delete a Poster image?

    Hi all,
I created a simple animation to be used with InDesign DPS. I added a poster image, but when viewing the animation in Adobe Content Viewer the poster image covers the animation unless I click on it, at which point it reveals the animation already "in progress".
Is there a way to delete the poster image once it has been set?
    Technical:
    Edge Animate v1.5
    Mac OS 10.8
    Adobe Content Viewer v25
    InDesign CS6, 8.0.1

The only way to delete a poster image once it has been created is to go into your project folder and physically delete it outside of Edge Animate.
Another thing to do is to open the actual poster png delete the content to leave it a blank transparent png. I often find I dont want the poster image visible first espaecially if you have a self playing animation.
    cheers
    Alistair
