hi everyone
i want to delete my old provisioning profiles
i did it from prgarnizer of xcode but it give me error when i run app on iphone
"This provioning profile have no valid signature"
i search about it then get to know that it store in
library->mobiledevices-provisioning profile folder
but i had a problem i.e my mac mini with mac osx lion 10.7.2 don;t have that directory
so please let me know that where it is in that

Use Organizer via Xcode and then on your device, use Settings/General/Profile....delete.

I have been a Mac user since the '90s and like many, evolved up from the original OS X to today's Lion. 10 years ago, we created email aliases in a very early version of Mac Mail and today, they still populate the drop-down menu when I'm selecting the email account to send from. Since there are 3 total aliases x 2 accounts (.Mac and .Me), I have 6 unneeded addresses which I'd like to delete.
I cannot use iCloud for this, as it shows that I do not have any aliases.. so there is nothing to delete.
Any ideas on how to clean up the email address drop-down and delete the old aliases?

Open Mail's preferences, and edit the SMTP outgoing server list. Delete any servers for these accounts.
You said you checked iCloud for this. I assume you meant you went to iCloud.com and checked the accounts there for aliases.

How do you remove provisioning profiles from iOS 6?

I am looking for them under the usual path "settings/general/profiles" but that option seems to be gone now. How do I erase provisioning profiles from my iphone 4 now?

Hello Gents and Ladies. i just bought my slightly used macbook pro.Previous owner did not entirely delete his profile, my question is how do i completely delete old user profile? i deleted the old user and set a new profile in but for some reason under "System profiler" it still says old user's computer on it??

You can delete a file so you don't read them anymore but you can't delete your mood messages in remote computers the same as you cannot delete an email you sent to someone.

On the Mac Desktop version 6.6.0 all previous Mood text can be deleted by removing or better renaming the following file. If you rename it but find it did something you didn't like to Skype, you can get it back.

Find
Home > Library > Application Support > Skype > keyval.db
Rename this file so Skype can't find it.
Start up Skype.
Skype will create a clean new version of the file.

How to connect to embedded POSTGRESQL on Mac OSX Lion Server

Hi all,
I've upgraded my Mac OSX 10.6 server to 10.7 server 2 days ago.
My web sites databases are still under MySQL server cause it's still running after the upgrade.
I manage to migrate the databases to PostgreSQL, so i've enabled the wiki from the server.app to launch the PostgreSQL server.
I can see that it's now running through a ps -ef | grep sql and that it's listening on the unix domain socket 5432 with netstat -an | grep SQL in a terminal shell.
The problem is that I'am unable to connect to it.
I tried psql -U postgres, and installed the Navcat for postgreSQL Lite, but they failed to connec to the database server twith the same error :
psql: could not connect to server : Permission Denied
Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/var/pgsql_socket/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
It seems that there is a permission problem on the Unix Domain Socket /var/pgsql_socket/.s.PGSQL.5432.
It has a 0770 permission on it, but i don't know if it's relly the problem.
I've compared with MySQL server, which I am able to manage through Navcat for MySQL Lite without any problem, and the socket permission are 0777 on /var/mysql/mysql.sock.
Does somebody able to connect to the embedded PostgreSQL server ?
Or am I doing something wrong ?

I was able to connect but not from navcat
sudo -u _postgres psql template1 (or your database name)
I am able to connect using this command too
1. Need to add yourself or the account accessing the database to Postgres Users group (use admin tools)
So I agree that I have to add my user to the _postgres user group, but how do you did ?
Using the admin tools, I did not find this Postgres Users group ?
I don't understand why server's administrators are not members of this group already ...

OK, I've already set the socket in Navcat to /var/pgsql_socket
4. I was unable to enable TCP connection yet
I am unable to enable it too. I tried to modify the config files in /var/pgsql, without success.
I have no firewall on my server too, it's protected by my router's firewall and NAT.

Mail - how to delete old email addresses from FROM box?

I'm using:
Mail 4.5
Snow Leopard 10.6.8
iCloud IMAP for my mac.com/me.com email address
When I compose new messages, in the FROM box are listed old mac.com email alias addresses that I have deleted.
I tried deleting the icloud IMAP account within mail, then recreating that account. But still, those old alias email addresses still appear. And one of them has the name of my ex-girlfriend, so I really want that off my screen, haha!
How can I delete those expired email address from the from box?
Otherwise, my iCloud IMAP account works fine.

Yes, those are email aliases (that I created on mobileme) that I no longer I have. I still have the main mac.com address, but today I deleted the aliases through iCloud.
And thanks. But I already tried that. After deleting the iCloud aliases on the iCloud website, I then deleted the iCloud account in preferences. And in the FROM box, ALL the icloud email aliases and main mac.com addresses disappeared. But when I recreated the iCloud acount within preferences, all those aliases reappeared in the from box.
I did another test - I set up the email account on my friend's computer (also running 10.6.8). And same problem. So looks like the problem is on iCloud's end.
Meaning that though I deleted those aliases from the iCloud website, when I create an email account from within Mail, it gets the info from the iCloud server and that hasn't been updated to reflect deleting those aliases.

I've tried deleting the old account (with the old ID) and planned to create a new one. There are a number of ways to delete pictures from the Camera Roll. One is to open Camera Roll in the thumbnail view, tap the arrow button (top right), tap all the pictures you want to delete, tap the Delete button ant the bottom. Photo Library pictures are deleted by unchecking Sync Photos on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, followed by syncing your phone.

Delete old email address from cache on a MAC

Has there been a solution to delete old email addrss from the cache on a MAC? I'm not talking about iPhone or iPad devices. The last discussion on this topic was back in 2012 and it doesn't look as if this was resolved.
Bottom line, when you create an email on the mac, the auto fill pulls up every email address for an individual (current or not). The correct email address are in the contacts, but the cache is storing the really old address.
Suggestions are welcome.

That should clear up on it's own when it times out in 3-5 days. Wait a few days, then try deleting it again.
