HOW TO DELETE PHOTOS IN IPHONE

I HAVE UPDATED MY IPHONE 3GS THROUGH ITUNE AND SYNC, NOW I GOT ALL THE PHOTOS I HAD IN THE LAPTOP BEING COPIED TO PHONE, I AM UNABLE TO DELETE THE UNWABTED PHOTOS AS I DID BEFORE BECAUSE DELETE/TRASH BUTTONS ARE NOT APPEARING. LET ME KNOW HOW TO DELETE THOSE PHOTOS IN PHOTO ALBUM AND LIBRARY

You can delete the photos through iTunes. Plug in your device and click on the photos tab. Uncheck the sync photos box. The photos will be removed after the next sync.
Also, just a friendly note that using all caps on the internet is generally considered screaming so please turn off caps lock for the future. Thanks.

You need to do it through iTunes, by unsyncing them
Wtih your iPhone connected, open iTunes on your computer, and click on your iPhone's name.
This should bring up the Overview Page, then click on the Photos Tab.
From their uncheck the folders that have the images you want top remove from your phone. Then sync the phone. itunes will remove the pictures during the sync process.

As I know, it won't delete the photos in iPhoto, but you can backup these photos on Mac to avoid any accident.
you can transfer Photos from iPhone to Mac with Image Capture
Connect your iPhone to Mac with USB cable > Run Image Capture on your Mac > Select your iPhone from the device list if it is not selected > Set the output folder for your iPhone photos > Click Import or Import all to transfer photos from iPhone to Mac.
BTW, you can also try to delete only one photos on iPhone first and see if it will disappeare on iPhoto to know what to to next.

On my iphone 4, I have 40 photos showing under "photos". However, when I sync my phone to itunes, the phone's memory is almost full, and most of that is attributed to hundreds of photos. I believe this dilemma has been documented many times before and I have in fact had to resort to resetting my iphone to factory settings to remove the thousands of photos which were synced from my computer in the past. If your OS detail provided is accurate, you won't be using or syncing this iPhone with your Mac.
On this iPhone, you can go to Settings > General > Reset and select Erase All Content and Settings. This will get rid of all your friend's content and settings making this iPhone truly yours.

No. Hook it up to any computer running iTunes. Make sure that you do not have any of the other tabs set up to sync, so that you do not overlay the info you have on your device for Music, Movies, etc., then go the the Music tab and un-check Sync Music. This should remove all sync'd music from your device. (this is presuming that the Mac you sync with does not have any photos you do want to sync with your device. If it does have any photos you want to sync, then instead of turning off the Music syncing altogether, you can just select what you do want to sync, and the sync will remove all other sync'd albums).

You can't delete straight from the iphone. You need to remove it by syncing again. If that didn't work for you last time, you can reimport nothing but giving it the same file name and it basically writes over what was on the phone. I only got my iphone 2 days ago so there may be other ways, but wow, so much for user friendly!

For some reason, the Camera & Scanner Wizard has started to detect the phone now. Maybe it will stop again in the future, but for now it's OK.
I do have iTunes installed, and the iPhone's still not appearing in Windows Explorer. I might reinstall if the problem recurs.
Yep, it's an official Apple cable, but it's a bit old. I got it with my iPod a few years back. Maybe i should start using that as the charger cable, and the new cable i got with my iPhone for syncing?

If they were photos taken with your iPhone and you have Photo Stream activated through iCloud they are in the cloud. If not - they are in the wind.
