Someone I happen to know hacked my iPhone 4s. They took my iPhone when I left it out. They plugged it into their Macbook and used software I beleive called Wondershare Data Recovery, to raid my phone and go through confidential files I had previously deleted on my phone. They went through text messages, photos and files that were personally confidential to myself. They made it aware they did this because they personal told me they would continue "tracking" what I do on my phone because my files will be backed up onto their computer. I was also made aware that after I decided to put a password on my phone, the person told me "It doesnt matter if you put a password on the phone since my phone is now ENCRYPTED with the laptop".
My first question is how do I go about this situation. Is there a program i can use to fully erase all the "deleted" files i thought were deleted previously on my phone? Is there a data base i can PERMANENTLY delete my files from so they can never be acessed in a data base in the future?
How do I make sure i dont continue to get stalked by this "close friend" in the future?

So, my hard drive is filled to capacity on my macbook air and the computer flashes a Message stating "Your startup disk is full." and from there it can't even finish booting up. If you have another Mac, you can plug it into your Mac, boot from that and try to access your internal hard drive from there and start dragging things off/emptying the trash. That is the only thing I can think of. If that does not work, you will have to erase.
Once you get this taken care of, remember: you should never fill your hard drive completely; the OS needs room to function properly and that would be an absolute minimum of 10 - 15 GB (more is much better) and, you should always have a current backup of everything. So, buy an external hard drive so you can make a backup as soon as you get the OS reinstalled.

I'm trying to clear up space on my external hard drive (Western Digital - My Passport), but it won't let me delete anything. In file, 'move to trash' is not highlighted, and when I click on get info, under 'sharing and permissions', it says 'you can only read'.

Is the drive formatted NTFS? Select the drive. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Ownership and Sharing panel make a snapshot of what is displayed - COMMAND-SHIFT-4 then select area using crosshairs. The image will be saved on your Dekstop. Then use the camera icon in the forum composition window's toolbar to put the image into your message.

I was trying to remove a certain song from my song, and came to the conclusion that I could get the selected music back after REMOVING ALL MUSIC FROM MY PHONE. This deleted the songs I wanted to keep, but not the one I wanted to delete. Anyways, that's not the point. After this, I tried to re-sync the CD (Taylor Swift - 1989) back onto my phone, but to no avail. Here are a few screenshots to help better understand my situation.
The songs still play when I am on the CD, but when I try to play them from the iPhone (second image), they do not play. Please help when possible. This is not urgent, but I would like to have it fixed soon.

Solved. I went into the iPhone (second image) and under music in the first list, I unselected the "Sync Music", Applied changes, Synced my phone again, and then turned "Sync Music" back on. After syncing, the music started playing again.

Welcome to the Support Communities!
If the music on your iPhone was purchased from the iTunes Store, you can redownload it at any time.
If the music is from your iTunes library, you can change your preferences in iTunes to sync only the songs you want manually.
It's always a good idea to first back up your iPhone before making an major changes:

To remove all of the music on your iPhone, tap Settings > General > Usage >
Tap on Music, tap Edit in the top right corner, tap on the red circle with the minus sign to the left of All Music, tap the red Delete button, tap Done.

Have you already written anything? Such as software that will connect to an FTP server?
Are you using a 3rd party package?
Are you doing it by hand, using sockets?

There is a similar setting for Videos on that Settings screen, so if you leave that 'on' you may have similar happening in the Videos app

You need to do it through iTunes, by unsyncing them
Wtih your iPhone connected, open iTunes on your computer, and click on your iPhone's name.
This should bring up the Overview Page, then click on the Photos Tab.
From their uncheck the folders that have the images you want top remove from your phone. Then sync the phone. itunes will remove the pictures during the sync process.

Trouble deleting music off Iphone

I trouble deleting music off iPhone and iPod through iTunes. Can't access anything on it.

Now click on "Music" on the top left under "Library", all of your songs will appear to the right. There is a box to the left of every song. If it is checked, when you sync it will be transferred to your phone. To delete a song from your phone, uncheck the box next to it. When you have unchecked all the songs you want to delete from your phone, click on the Sync botton on the bottom right. When your phone finishes syncing the unchecked songs should be deleted from your phone.
To summarize: checked songs are synced to your phone when you sync, unchecked songs are deleted from your phone when you sync.
Edit: When you are done unchecking the songs you don't want on your phone, click on the name of your phone again on the left sidebar, then click the Sync button on the bottom right.
