How to delete Products in SRM

Hi all,
How to delete products in SRM, I think products can be archived in transaction COMMPR01under General tab.
Is there any option or program to delete products directly.

Deleting Material Master from SRM If you want to delete hierarchy of product, run Report -> 
COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_SINGLE - Deletes All Hierarchy and Category Data
COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_ALL - Deletes All Hierarchy and Category Data
If You want to delete all or selected product, run Report ->
COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE - Deletion of a product from the database
COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_ALL - Deletion of All Product Master Data

How to delete productgroups in SRM that where replicated from R/3?

Hello,
When I change for example the description of a productgroup in R/3 OMSF, and subsequently download the table content via R3AS, the changes are replicated to SRM.
When I delete a productgroup in R/3 and use R3AS the productgroups aren't deleted in SRM. Probebly because there are dependency's.
How can I delete those productgroups in SRM?
There are some threads that discus this toppic, but they are not clear for me what steps to take.

Jorgen,
Your best option is to deactivate the Product Category in the Org Structure > Extended Attributes > Product Category.
After doing this the deactivated category will not show in Product Category searches for users so cannot be used.
This will leave the Product Category in place in SRM for any dependent documents.
If you are using Catalogs you will also have to make sure you have no items that refer to the Product Category or shoppers will get an error message.
An error message will also be received if they attempt to maintain a PO containing the removed category.
As always with SAP it's easy to put things into ECC/SRM but a lot harder to remove them due to the historical documents.

This situation was due to an SRM client copy (exact), so all my categories were linked to my old rfc system.
Due to this panic situation (deletion not possible), I asked basis people to delete this new client and make a new copy (only customizing).
Definitively, next time I'll wait a little bit more for a good advice in sdn...ej.ej

How to delete Product Specific Transportation Lanes?

I'm trying to delete a product specific transportation lane (like you would do in /SAPAPO/SCC_TL1)
but can't find an appropriate BAPI to help me do this. I see BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_DELMULTI but that seems to delete the entire Transportation Lane instead of a specific product's lane.
I've tried using BDC with /SAPAPO/SCC_TL1 but don't think it'll work since it's an ALV and I'll be running in background.
Anyone encountered this before?

Do following steps:
Go to SE38
FUNCTION_LOADER_INLAY execute (F8)
Step 1
u2022     Go to the Design tab page. IN the Name of Put Function Module field, we enter the function module name BAPI_PIRSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI.
u2022     Press Enter and the Available Parameters table on the left side of the screen is filled automatically.
u2022     Select the lines Logical System, Commit_Conrol, Planning Version, Requirements and Return.
u2022     Choose Column Right to transfer the parameters to the Selected Parameters table on the right side of the screen.
u2022     Choose Format Worksheet.
u2022     Confirm the dialog box that informs you about manual formatting the cells. The system directly opens the Data tab page.
u2022     Now select the entire worksheet, right-click in the selected area and choose Format Cells.
u2022     In the Number tab page we select the category Text and choose OK.
Step 2
In the first available empty line the make the following entries (for every cell you can find additional information about data you have to enter by selecting Input Help):
u2022     Logical System: APO Logical sys name
u2022     Commit_Control: E
u2022     Planning version: 000 (whether data is being transferred to the active planning version or to a simulation version)

u2022     Location:
u2022     Location Type:
u2022     Atpcat: FA
u2022     Date from: e.g. 01.05.2006 (Valid from)

We choose Save.
Confirm the information prompt.
(It is very important that we select row with data we need to load)
Then We now choose button u201CSAP SYSTEMu201D
After sometime you see the message u201CData Transfer ended successfully appearsu201D
Now go to Product view /n/SAPAPO/RRP3 and check Fcst loaded.

How to delete production orders that have release status set in APO ?

I have a few production orders which have a release status set in SCM 5.0 system. I need to delete them now. I cannot delete them from ECC since the ECC system no longer exists.
I need to delete these orders in APO only ? Is there any way to do this ?

Please try deleting with either of the reports /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS or/SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER

1) Delete Production Order,

2) Delete Planned Order,
MD16 is the only option to delete planned orders in mass.
During MRP run if you choose - Delete and recreate plan order mode. Automatically the unwanted plan orders
2) Delete Purchase Requisation,
Execute MD04, in that it will display the created PR's
Check in tcode MD62 whether you have any demand for that material which you are getting PRs first delete requirement here/
Then run MRP by tcode MD03 or MD02 giving input of material and plant. In the initial screen of MD03 / MD02, make field planning mode - Delete and recreate planning data
Is that Old PR Firmed.
If yes remove the Firm indicator and Re run the MRP with planning Mode 3.
It removes the PR from EBAN.
Now check in MD04
OR,
Use Mass change transaction code MEMASSRQ or use BAPI (BAPI_REQUISITION_DELETE) to do the same.
Or
Use ME57 with layout ALV, in this also u can delete PR
If you want delete PR manually then
goto ME52N --> enter PR number --> select line item --> click delete button
or
goto ME52N --> enter PR number --> Item --> Tab Quanties/Dates --> set tick mark for closed check box

SRM 5.0 Delete product from COMM_PRODUCT

Hi,
I want to delete a product from SRM that is replicated from ECC, when I run COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE I am getting error message ' DELETION WITHOUT ARCHIVING IS NOT ALLOWED IN PRODUCTIVE ENVIRONMENT'. Can't I delete product without archiving? Can some help me out on how to archive a product in SRM (infact, I will be archiving abt 50k).

Archiving is a cross application process, hence the procedures remain the same except for the Object and Tables being archived across all areas.

How to delete the queries in BW production which are no longer existing in DEV.
1. I tried Using RSZDELETE in Production it is not getting deleted and the below message given.
Query object 4A7V83T3RB4ABIOKSDJT2HWDL is blocked. Deletion has been cancelled.
2. I tried creating another query in dev with the same technical name and send a transport with deletion
it is not working.
Please advise me on this for any function module or any other method.

Hi,
If you transported the query from DEV and now you want to delete it, you should open a BEx request (Dev Class under which it was originally transported -- or-- Standard - type) in DEV delete the query and move the transport to Production.
As far as your error is concerned, usually when you can delete a query using the delete option in query designer itself,
Business Explorer> query-> delete objects , when you press execute the system offers you a list of dependent objects on the query(workbook,views), in case the sysytem is unable to delete them i.e.they being used as a input query for a characteristic variable (replacement path),then system throws this error.You can delete these all depndents under there prescribed roles , fav s & then proceed.

Hello Friends,
In business partner maintenance (BP), one employee assigned to multiple companies in relationship tab.
Following are the entries observed in relationship tab in BP Transaction code.
Is employee of
xxx(BP number) u2013 Company(address type) --- xxx(description) u2013valid from --- valid to -->1st entry
xxx(BP number) u2013 Company(address type) --- xxx(description) u2013valid from --- valid to --> 2nd entry
Ideally one employee should assigned to one company only.
Kindly let me know how to delete the relationship.
We are using release SRM 5.0 with classic extended scenario.
The organization structure is HR Replicated.

Thank you for providing information.
The employee is not assigned to multiple companies. The assignment is related to orgnizational unit.
In organization structure (PPOSA_BBP), the user/position is assigned to one organization unit only
More details about this issue,
we find the relationship of the user/position in BP T.code (Relationship Tab), it is showing the relationship with current organizational unit and previous organizational unit. Ideally it should be assigned to one organizational unit. Due to some inconsistency, it is still showing the previous organizational unit.
Example: Ex: User A is replicated from HR to SRM and assigned to Dept A (org unit 1) and later User A is shifted to Dept B (org unit 2) from HR Replication.
Following are the entries observed in relationship tab in BP Transaction code.
Input is BP number assigned to of the user A central person.
User u201CAu201D is employee of
BP number of org unit 1u2013 Company(address type) --- xxx(description) u2013valid from --- valid to -->1st entry
BP number of org unit 2 u2013 Company(address type) --- xxx(description) u2013valid from --- valid to --> 2nd entry

CO78 is a one stop transaction for production order setting deletion flag, deletion indicator, archiving and finally deleting.
Generally we schedule the following programs in background in the sequence below,
1. PPARCHP1 for Setting Deletion Flag
2. PPARCHP1 for Setting Deletion Indicator (Once set cannot be revoked- so care should be taken in selection of orders)
3. PPARCHA1 for archiving the production order with Deletion Indicator active. Basis should set the database/storage space for archiving/storing the records.
4. PPARCHD1 for Deleting the records from SAP database.

for deleting POs you have to delete the line items. First select the line items and then choose the icon 'delete' in the item overview screen of PO.
For open PO s also you have to do the same Or else change the PO quantity to the desired qty for what GRN has been made.
