How to delete program that not want to go into the trash?

Hi!
Just installed a program from internet, vlc video program.
I can't remove it into the trash, how could i uninstall it from my mac when it not work like other programs that could just be drag into the trash to delete?

Im unsure to how i should do this to not make any damage like Linc Davis talking about.
The program is locked, and it will not fit to the trash, the same thing happen if you example try to put the calculator in the trash, it just flip back.
The program i want do remove is Videolan, called vld. Downloaded from here: http://www.videolan.org

Are you in your user account?
In the Import window you'll see a Desktop folder at the root level of our drive. You don't want that one.
You want the one in your the folder for your user account.

If i understand correctely, you are looking for a report which will delete the statistics logs, or you need stop this trace.... if yes then below is the answer ..
In active systems, the R/3 statistics file is constantly written to with statistics data records, provided the statistics indicator in the SAP startup profile is set to "stat/level = 1". Another relevant factor are the statistics parameters in the instance profiles (stat/...rec). However, The statistics file is usually deleted - when the batch job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR or COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFORMANCEMONITOR is
scheduled (hourly=default value is the best) - when it reaches a certain
size. The default value is currently 100 MB, which corresponds to about
200,000 to 300,000 (depending on release) statistics entries (about
300,000 screen changes). For each screen change in the SAP System, about
340 - 500 bytes are written to the statistics file (when statistics
recording is switched on and standard setting).

By default the photos will be sorted by the date modified.

Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Most applications create preference files which are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can located them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term.
There are also several shareware utilities that can uninstall applications:

Tom at the Genius Bar told me that Option Delete would work. It does not.
I had to upgrade to iTunes 11.1.(I26) because it is required with OS7 on my iPod Touch (5th Gen). I have tried shutting down iTunes, then shutting down the entire system. This is the first in many visits that the Genius Bar gave me a solution that did not work.
This is a big awkward computer locked to my desk. I would rather not unlock it and then carry it through a shopping center to the Genius Bar if i can avoid oit.
When I installed iTunes 11.1, I discovered that Ihad to resubscribe to virtually all of the podcasts that I had previously been subscribed to. That was a surprise.

I did not read the rather long post. If you wish to reinstall OS X 10.4, use your software install DVD. Backup is essential. To minimize your risk, I would use an archive and install:

In that way, you will have a fresh copy of OS X and your current settings will be preserved.
Incidentally, I do not agree that the printer problem is best solved by reinstalling OS X. I have had HP printers for sometime and, on one occasion, had difficulty after an upgrade. HP technical support walked me through uninstalling all traces of the HP driver and then reinstalling.

Same way they got there, through the iTunes sync process. Your phone connected, iTunes running, under the Photos tab, remove the check marks next to the folders/albums you don't want on your phone, hit the apply/sync button.

Yes, you drag them to the trash.
This does leave behind small preference files and various little bits other places.
To get rid of these you can use an app such as appcleaner.

Resync the iPad with the computer, but before doing so, click on the device once it is hooked up to iTunes. You will see the Device Profile to the right with several tabs - Photos being one of them. Select the Photos tab, and either uncheck the Sync Photos box at the top (if you don't want any of the photos to be on your device), or uncheck the selected photos you no longer want to sync.
