iPhoto is a relational database management program and manages only items that it controls - items within its library - it does not and will not do anything with any photo that is not in the library except to delete photos from cameras after import - and this is not recommended
You are running a referenced library and it is not recommended - it makes deleting photos more difficult as you are seeing, it makes importing photos more difficult and it makes replacing or upgrading hardware much more difficult

I accidently selected the wrong text when I set up a link to a web page. Nothing I do will allow me to delete the linking capability. When I click on the link, it takes me to "no such address" message in browser.
When I search Arcobat help, it appears that the instructions are for a newer version of the software, because I don't get the same tools that it tells me to use.
I've used the Advanced Linking tool that supposedly allows to delete all links in document, but it doesn't work. Links still there.

I don't have Acrobat 7.1 handy but you could see if this helps...
Make sure the Editing toolbar is visible. Select the Link tool in the toolbar. Clicking on the link in the document should select it and let you edit or delete it.

You are going to need to examine the Cos object for each link and see
whether it meets your requirements of "dead" (which you've really just
moved to "invalid destination" - when is a destination invalid?)
The PDF Reference describes the types of PDF actions. There are more
than you think, and some (JavaScript) virtually defy analysis. In
broad terms the plug-in would call PDDocGetPage / PDPageRelease for
each page in turn, then iterate through the Annots objects. There is a
PDAnnot API, but going to the Cos API is likely to be needed in the
end.
Be sure to use an error handler so you never miss PDPageRelease, even
if there is an error in the PDF: this is very important.

I think that if the download folder is never emptied, then my mac will slow down. Therefore I want to delete these downloads which I have already seen. How do I delete ALL items in the shortest time? How to delete Icon file in Safari folder?

In Safari v2.0.4 the Icon file contains the Favicons. In v3.0.4 WebepageIcons.db contains the Favicons. My Safari 3.0.4 folder still has an alias Icon file. SafariSpeed will not remove the Favicons. I assume this is because of the alias Icon. If I trash the Icon, it regenerates on startup. A search does not find the original Icon. trying to free up a drive by deleting the back ups folder. Tried to do it via trash and ended up getting error 8003 or somthing. tried deleting a backup individualy but found that i now have the file stuck in my trash. Just to be sure I understand ... you do not want to erase the TM drive because there are files that are not part of TM on that drive?
If that is the case you can copy those other files to some other drive, before you erase.
Or do you just want to purge the drive of theTM files and leave the rest in place?

I'm working on a portal in Sharepoint 2007. It appears that I can only have one set of "Links" on a page, so I am grouping my related links into folders. I'm having two issues with this...
#1. I need to change the order of the links within a folder. When I try to Change Order under the Actions menu, I only get the main list of links, not those within the folder. How can I reorder links within a folder?
#2. When I click a Links folder, all links go away, except for the links within that folder. Is there any way to make the Links list work in a Tree view?
Sorry for the newbie questions, but I've not worked much in Sharepoint and I had this project dropped on me. :(

It looks like you already removed some code from the
fadeimages Array.
In the fadeimages Array, the script is looking for three
things: the image
path, the link and the target.
Since you don't want a link and don't need a target, just
insert an "empty
value" for each of these.
You only have the image path in the code, so the script fails
"when it
doesn't find the other two things it's looking for"..
Change this:
fadeimages[0]=["restaurantexterior1.jpg"]
fadeimages[1]=["restaurantinterior2.jpg"]
fadeimages[2]=["restaurantinteriorwall.jpg"]
To this:

"" means no value, so now the script finds the image path,

link which is empty and lastly, finds the target which is
empty.
Since it finds the three things it's looking for, it
