How to delete purchased items that have not yet downloaded

How do I delete purchased itune items that have not been downloaded. When I first started using itunes to download movies I would recieve both hd and standard and I don't want both.....I want to delete all the hd ones.

Sorry, but you can't remove things already in the download queue. If you don't want the HD versions, just buy the standard-definition versions ("Buy Movie" rather than "Buy HD Movie"). As to movies already in the queue, it will be by far the easiest to just let them finish downloading.

Are you trying to update your iPhone using iTunes on your computer? If so, did you make purchases through the iTunes Store or App Store on your iPhone, and fail to sync them with your computer? That is the likely meaning of what you are seeing. If this is true, the purchases would be added to iTunes in your computer before the upgrade proceeds.

Ipad mini. I get a msg that says it could be updated to IOS 7.1.1.
When I try to do that, I get this msg:
In the iTunes menus, or Help, I find nothing that remotely looks like "Transfer purchases".
What's the problem???

Click on cancel. Then right click on your iPad name under the devices heading in the left sidebar or under the devices button in the upper right part of the iTunes window (however you have iTunes configured to select your device) and then select Transfer Purchases from the resulting window. Let the items transfer, then sync and backup. Right click on the device name again and select Backup.
After you backup, then update the iOS.

How to delete webintelligence objects that are not viewed

I need to find a way to delete the objects that have not been viewed in the last 12 months. We are using Business Objects XI 3.1 here. I've already looked for this feature around a lot of sites and foruns, but I still have not found anything.
We have over than 2.500 webintelligence objetcs in our environment. A lot of them are useless. So we would like to clean up the reports that are not viewed by the users. Maybe we would use this feature one time every year.

We decided to clean up the old documents taking a look to their last modified date. It'll be easier and we won't loose important documents. That is gonna be enough for us.

My old computer died, and all of my itunes music is now on a USB. I have a new computer, but I have not yet downloaded the new itunes to it. How do I go about getting all of my music from the USB onto the new itunes without losing it all?

Are you sure you want to continue?" but i have done the manual backup... i see kindle books on my ipad i do not see in itunes, but i think i can just re-download them from Amazon...
Trying to be sure i do this upgrade without losing any apps or data!

are you by any chance connected to another wifi router then your own because the other one was open and not password protected?

How do I restore or recover purchased items that have disappeared from my iTunes?

I have a number of purchased items from iTunes that appear in my overall list with an ! (exclamation point) in front of them. They can't be located on the computer. I see them in my purchased list (also with the exclamation point).
Is there a way to restore or recover them?

How to - delete physical files that have been removed from library

Hello,
I have recently purged my iTunes library from unwanted music tracks. However, most of those tracks were located in various folders on my harddisk, thus not managed by iTunes (not being on the "My Music\Itunes" folder).
I would now like to somehow delete those files that are still on my harddisk. I've searched if there's a script around, but with no luck. What I'd like to do is to have a script that parses my library xml file, and that compares it with the files still present on the harddisk but not listed in iTunes, so that it either generates a list of files to delete, or automatically deletes those files.
Once this will be done, I plan to move all my remaining music to a new HDD, but before doing that I will need to clean the mess.

P.S. : I thought of making a new iTunes lib, to import all, and then to somehow run a diff program to remove duplicate items. Does that makes sense ?

Don't know of any script to do this.
If the songs are not in iTunes (you deleted them) and they are not in the iTunes music folder, you will need to search & delete them yourself.
You could do a Windows search the HD for all music and sort by location (In Folder), then delete everything not in the iTunes music folder.
Or move everything not in the iTunes folder to a folder on the desktop, then sort it out from there.

I had my friend start me up on my iPad with a credit card that is from Canada and now she wants to remove it and I'd like to put my fiancé's credit card in there from America it won't let me change stores from Canada to America they said that there's something I downloaded TV show wise that will not let me change the credit card number. You have to have a valid credit card that is registered to an address in which that credit card is issued. So if you want to use the U.S. App Store or iTunes store on your iPad, your credit card must be a U.S. registered card with a U.S. Billing address.
If you want to change the store to the U.S. store, go iTunes and tap the Music tab. Swipe down to the bottom of the screen and tap on the ID in the lower left corner. If your friend's ID is showing you have to sign out of that ID and sign in with your own. After you are signed in to your account. Tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Swipe down to Country/Region and you can change to the U.S. store in there. You can also edit the credit card information in there as well to add your credit card.
You can delete TV shows by launching the Videos App and then tap and hold down on the icon of the TV shaow that you want to delete until the X pops up.Tap the X to delete the show.

How to delete music file that is not downloaded into iTunes?

Im having a problem deleting a file I asked to open a music file, with itunes.
I was on a site called mp3skulls trying to listen and possibly download a file. I accidently requested it to be opened with itunes and as it did open with itunes and played. I can't simply delete it. It's not downloaded into my mac nor is it downloaded into itunes. It seems like it is being streamed from the site onto my itunes. I tried to find a delete option but there isn't one and i tried just dragging it to my trash can but it is still there playing.
there is a symbol right in front of the name that looks like this ((.)) (there's a dot in the middle) if that helps anything.
I just need to know how to delete this file cause i do not want to keep it.

If it is a system file and even if the file is corrupted, it cannot be deleted.
Try reinstalling phone software using Nokia suite if the phone supports Nokia suite and an USB port.

Deleted purchased item by mistake, can I download again?

Hi, I bought the entire series of Heroes, so basically they all download as soon as they are available. After some moves of my libraries, the file for the latest download looks as if it has been deleted....
...does anyone know if you can download (again) the files that you have already purchased? Seems like a no-brainer, but I don't know how to do it.

If you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from (as you are advised to do) then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. Can't re-download a previously purchased item that didn't properly download

I recently used a free code YLHKTEW39RPY to get a Warped Tour Sampler. The order number was MGJG03FQLJ and it was on 6/27/09. The Invoice number was 212002416301. It came with 10 songs, but only 2 of them even downloaded. I tried "checking for purchases" to see if they would re-download but iTunes tells me that all avaiable purchases are downloaded, yet 8 of the songs don't show up in my library. I went into my purchase history and reported a problem but that didn't seem to do anything. How do I get the other 8 songs to download?

Reporting via Purchase Histroy doesn't always work. Also, if you've reported a porblem once, you can't do it again on the same item if you get no reply.
