The contexts are stored int able HRP7600..
We deleted the root contexts which were not created properly from there..

I created Root Context in spro using the program mentioned in Customizing in PLMWUI. But in portal when I try to assign the same it throws an error. I have ACC_ADMN authoirzation
Context ZPLM does not exist or you do not have access authorization
Message no. /PLMB/AUTH_ACC014
Procedure
This error is displayed in two scenarios:
If this message is displayed when you create a new business object (such as material, material BOM, ECN, or document), specify a valid access control context (ACC). To do this, you have to first check whether the access control context, specified by you as the owning context, still exists, or whether you still have access to this access control context.
If this message is displayed when you trigger a link to display or change the access control context, you need at least a change authority in the context, to be able to use this application. This is because the application for creating or changing the contexts is only authorized for the administrators. Other users do not have the right to analyze, change, or create contexts and cannot access this application.

Hi Aby,
You can check this when you open the ACC contect from portal. You can either activate or deactivate the context.
You need to add your user as context administrator to have authorizations on that context. To do this edit the context and
add the role acc admin under the tab roles/users. Now assign your user to that role.
After saving you can find your user under context administrator in General tab. No check the box responsible administrator.
Now you can have admin authorizations on this context. With this you can create subordinate contexts assign roles and users and also assign objects(like materials and DIRs) to this context.
The best practise is to make admin users as responsible administrators and create sub contexts under parent context.You can add other users and other required roles here and assign this context to objects.

Is it a standard or customer table, changing a standard table with non-standard tool can raise database inconsistencies...
Then use search tool for &SAP_EDIT (*) or look for BAPI/BDC...

If you want to remove the Infoobject from Dimension then you need to delete the data from the cube and then remove the infoobject from that particular Dimension. I mean delete the assignment for that Infoobject.

you have to delete the row by a sql statement.
Open a new query and run a script like this:
use <Your SID DB> -- e.g. use PRD
setuser 'your sid in lowercase' --- e.g. setuser 'prd'
delete from USR02 where MANDT = '300' and BNAME = 'sap*'
go
Run a complete backup before deleting data manually.

Urgent: How to Delete all Cards for a Crawler through SQL

Folks,
Good morning! I am trying to delete 2 million cards (should have been expired, and makes the search index rebuild take days) in a single folder in the Knowledge Directory in the 6.1 portal. The job to delete the folder ("Apply Later") has been running half of yesterday and then all night with nothing being logged in PTSpy or the joblog, little or no CPU activity.
Does someone have a DB query that can zap the cards for this crawler? I know how to select the cards for a particular crawler ID, but don't understand how to delete them properly such that all references to those cards in other tables also get removed.

delete from:
PTFolderCards
PTCards
PTCardProperties
PTCardSecurity
PTCardStatistics
PTMigration
update:
PTInternalCardInfo (RefreshDate = null, ExpirationDate = null, RefreshRateUnits = null, RefreshRateNum = -1, MissingDeleteUnits = null, MissingDeleteNum = null)
PTCardStatus (indexing status set to 3)

How to delete an Update for an App that is not loaded on phone?

I have an App Update for an application that is not (and has never been - to my knowledge) loaded on my phone!
How do I get rid of this update?
OR should I install it, or try to install and then delete the App. (if it loads).
This update does NOT show on iTunes site when the phone is connected. (not sure if it would show updates anyway).
It's a casino games application - so if I install and delete will I get inundated with unwanted gaming Apps?
And why should I get an update for an App that is not loaded - is this a software glitch, or just speculation by the writers to get some money????
This phone was pre-owned by family member, and all the updates to date have been for Apps that I have downloaded, during the year or so of my use.

I checked transaction VD06, indeed that it shows details for the sales area of a customer... but how can I delete the sales area data? There is a deletion flag for it? I tried to flagged it to deletion but when I tried to display it again through transaction XD03, it just give me the warning message 'Customer 20000702 is marked for deletion in the sales area selected' then it displayed the sales area...
I checked the KNVV table and the data still exists however the field for deletion flag is raised to 'X'.
I'm not sure if this is the proper way to delete a sales area. Can you please confirm?

How to delete the coverages for an ACTIVE service contract ?

     I have created coverages for few service lines for a service contract in R12. The contract is in ACTIVE status. If it was in ENTERED state, I could use OKS_COVERAGES_PUB.DELETE_COVERAGE to delete the coverages. But this contract is in ACTIVE status.
     Basically I want the lines lse_id=2,3 removed for a particular line (lse_id=1) which were created by using OKS_CONTRACTS_PUB.CREATE_SERVICE_LINE. This contract has a standard coverage and hence there should not be lines with lse_id=2,3 for that particular service line .
     Also, I am not able to delete a coverage for an EXPIRED contract.
     Please let me know if you need more information on this.
