I am facing one problem in deleting text item from the delivery. In one case our store person have inserted taxt item by mistake in delivery. In the delivery there are two schedule lines one is of Tan and another is of tatx (which is by mistake inserted by him) he prepaired bill for the delivery and System split the delivery in two invoices, later on he cancelled the invoice of Text item Which value is 0. But now the delivery is showing pending in VF04 though we have invoice the 1st schedile line. After this I tried to delete the text itm by going to vl02n but system is not alowing me to delete the schedule line. error is document can not deleted. where as system is also not allowing thtough t-code vl09n after cancelling the invoice.
I need experts help to solve this problem. I wan to cleare the delivery from t-code VF04.

here the delivery is only one and system have created two invoices. I have cancell the invoice of 0 value by using t-code VF11, after this I tried for vl09 to reverse the goods movement but system is not allowing me becouse for the same delivery we have created two invoices and one is cancell.
so dear friend tell me is it possible for me to reverse the one schedule line from the delivery by using vl09n.

I've updated from ois 6 to ios 7. I see the "edit" button in ios 6 that I used to deleate messages has been replaced wit a "contact" button. So how do I deleate the old history of messages between myself and the other person?

Find the message you would like to remove and tap and hold on it. A menu will appear with options that include "Copy" and "More". Tap on "More". The message will be selected and you can then tap on the trash icon on the bottom left. Before trashing the message, you also have the option to select other messages to remove.

I was unaware that you couldn't Option-Click-Drag a selection in TextEdit. When I do it, it seems to work:
The screen shot shows that the text is RTF (Option to change to Plain Text is showing in Format menu).
Your observation regarding Pages allowing the selection and reformatting the text, but not allowing deletion, should mean that there isn't much of a code gap in that aspect of the app. I'll submit a Feedback enhancement request.

How to delete text entries in drop down's?

I've been creating new PDF forms for my communications center and one of the forms I added a drop down box with all of our dispatchers names. When someone is filling out the form after its been saved to the computer, if they accidentally enter the wrong name they cannot delete it. This isn't so much an issue for the drop down for the person who filled out the form, but if they hit the drop down for who cleared the entry, then its a problem as like i said, you cannot delete the name. Is there anything I can change so that if someone accidentally hits the wrong drop down it can be deleted or erased?
Also the same question can be asked about a calendar add-on from formrouter, if you click the box where I have the date set up you can't get rid of the box without choosing a date. I was hoping that something like hitting the escape key might remove it but that doesn't help.

If you set up the dropdown to "Allow user to enter custom text", they will be able to manually set the field to blank, but this also lets a user enter anything they want, unless you restrict it further with a validation script.
Regarding the formrouter calendar, since you have access to the code you can modify it to behave however you want.

I have an Iphone 4. I have gone through and deleted each text, I have also gone through and deleted every converstation. When I turn the phone off and turn it back on it they all come right back on the screen. They are clogging up all my space on my phone and I can no longer send any data, take pictures, and my phone is running really slow. I have texts messages from over a year ago.

Photos 1.0 won't let me delete text!

Recently upgraded the computer and Im now trying to get aquatinted with Photos 1.0. I created a slideshow project for an upcoming presentation. Im using the Classic Theme. On the Apple site, it explains how to delete text in the slideshow feature of the Photos app, however, I am unable to delete text on the very first slide of the slideshow. The program allows me to delete text on all other slides ACCEPT the first one. It initially goes away when I delete it, but pops back up if I switch to another project and then back. And the text always defaults to the title of the project. I don't want text on the first slide!!! Please help! Its very irritating and I have not been able to find a setting to remove this "default" feature.

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.

Just delete them. Or, do you mean beyond just deleting them? Then, you'd need to wipe the phone - select Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. That's a secure wipe of the iPhone contents, takes several hours (connect to AC power). You'll need to set your phone up from scratch (and erase the old backup(s) from your computer, since your SMS history is part of the backup).

If you want to remove only a specific part of the text, you have to get the String, take the parts before and after the removed part, append them back together and use setText to replace it in the textArea.
