iPhoto is a relational database management program and manages only items that it controls - items within its library - it does not and will not do anything with any photo that is not in the library except to delete photos from cameras after import - and this is not recommended
You are running a referenced library and it is not recommended - it makes deleting photos more difficult as you are seeing, it makes importing photos more difficult and it makes replacing or upgrading hardware much more difficult

I have tried reseting the network settings and forgetting my wireless connection and re-connecting to it. I even backed up my phone on itunes and restored it, factory reseted it. Nothing seems to work.
Also after my upgrade to ios 8.1 my personal hotspot option under cellular data has disappeared.
Would you please help me out? I would really appreciate it.

My iPhone 5c won't connect to home internet. I have an Actiontec router and my phone shows that I'm connected but no IP address comes up on my phone and Safari and other Apps state that I'm not connected to the internet.

I recently purchased an iPhone 5c and for some unknown reason I can't connect to my wireless router's network at home. I've tried establishing a seperate IP address, manually adding the iPhone device, and even spent an hour with Centurylink's IT support and they couldn't figure it out. Are the photos saved on your phone in an album that has been backed up on the computer? if so, then connect you phone to itunes via the sync cable and the go on photo's menu on itunes and delete the album

If you have any synced photos on your iPad the only way to delete those is by syncing again with iTunes... Either sync an empty photo folder or unselect the photos folder from the photos tab in iTunes and sync again.
Are you sure that you are not using Photos from your Photo Stream? Go to Settings>Picture Frame and make sure that there are no albums, or photo stream photos to choose from.

Photos in the camera roll can be imported to the computer, not synced. There is a difference. Photos that are synced, are synced from the computer onto the phone. These are the pictures that you see in the Photo Library. Photos in the camera roll do not appear in the Photo Library.
If you have deleted photos from the Camera Roll, they are gone. If you do not want to sync photos to the phone from the computer, you do this via iTunes. Go to the Photos tab with the phone connected to the computer, remove the checkmark to sync, and sync again. This will remove the photos.

Are you talking about photo Library?
This is how Apple handles photos. ALL synced photos are in teh Photo Library. you can also access those exact same pics ( not duplicates) from the album which you selected to sync; just as your music is in your library and ca also be accessed via playlists.

TIS MAKES ME SOOOOOOOOOO MAD!!!!!!!! i was trying to delete my photo library because 150 photos take up space and i already had them in a diferent album, from a tip that made no sense to me. like deleting it the same way i transferred it. i got a new ipod and authorized it then the new album was created. Removing the tick from the box named Sync Photos would not remove any of your music. You must have done something else if half your music was removed from the iPod.

I assume you mean "can you delete films/movies or Podcasts etc. from your iTunes Library". Yes, you can delete anything from your iTunes Library by using the conventional delete method or you can delete (or remove) any of the songs, films, Podcasts etc. from the iPod. Usually this is done by un-ticking the song, film etc in iTunes and then Syncing the iPod to iTunes. That will remove the song form the iPod but leave it in iTunes unless you specifically delete it form iTunes .
