How to delete the scheduled backup jobs

Hi,
I had scheduled differential (SOL 2000) backup every day as below.
Enterprise manager --> select the <SID> --> Right Click --> Select all tasks --> Backup --> in this screen we have option to schedule the backup daily, monthly, weekly.
Since the path which i set does not exists, its canceling every day.In ST04, log showing as canceled.
Now, i don't want this differential backup daily. I want to cancel this. How can i cancel this scheduled job?
Regards,
Gayathry.

Hi Gayathry,
In that Enterprise manager, you can find Management --> SQL Server Agent --> Jobs
Here you can observer your scheduled job if you want to delete this, you can delete.

    Hi Caveman337,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  The resource below will explain how to delete an old iTunes backup.  Before you do this, I would suggest creating an iCloud backup of your iPhone.
Back up and restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203977
    Back up using iCloud
If you're using iCloud, it can automatically back up your content. Use these steps to turn on iCloud Backup:
Tap Settings > iCloud > Backup. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
Tap iCloud Backup to turn it on.
    Tap Back Up Now.
After you turn on iCloud Backup, iCloud will back up your content automatically. You can return to this screen to see when the last back up happened.
Create and delete iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch backups in iTunes - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/ht4946
    Where your backups are stored
The folder where your backup data is stored depends on your computer's operating system. Make sure the backup folder is included in your data-backup routine. iTunes places the backup files in these places:
    Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
The "~" represents your Home folder. If you don't see Library in your Home folder, hold Option and click the Go menu.
    Delete a backup
If you want to delete a backup created by iTunes:
    Open iTunes Preferences:
    Mac: Choose iTunes > Preferences.
Windows: Choose Edit > Preferences. Learn how to turn on menus in Windows 7 and 8.
Click Devices. (The iOS device doesn't need to be connected.)
iTunes will show the phone number, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number, and serial number of the backed up iPhone when you position your mouse pointer over a backup. (Only the serial number will be shown for iPad and iPod touch). You can use this to find the backup you want to delete.
Select the backup you want to remove.
    Click Delete Backup.
When prompted, confirm that you want to remove the selected backup by clicking Delete Backup.
Click OK to close the iTunes Preferences Window.
Backups that have a date and time stamp in the backup name are copies of backups created by restoring the iOS device. The date and time in the left column are when the restore-from-backup occurred. The date and time in the right column are the last synced date; this shows how current the data is.
I hope this information helps ....

  • How to delete the old backup in time machine?

    Hi all,
As I have use the TM for a year, the backup folder is on a network dirve. HOw can I delete the old backup (eg 6 months ago) in order to release more space?
    Thank you
    Gary

Hi, and welcome to the forums.
I'll assume you mean a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device, not a Time Capsule or external HD connected to a Time Capsule or other Mac on your network.
If so, you can delete individual backups via Time Machine. See #12 in [Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/FAQ.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum). That may not seem to gain any space, since the backups are in a rather odd container called a +sparse bundle.+ It won't shrink automatically when you delete things, but the space will be reused for new backups.
You may be able to limit the size of the backups by limiting the amount of space available to Time Machine on the NAS, but you'll have to use whatever facilities the NAS supplies, not OSX. Some allow the disk to be partitioned as on a normal disk, or allocate space to shares.

  • How to delete the internal backup from my macbook pro

please help cuz it took up 140GB

Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder and enter or paste the appropriate command line. Press RETURN and enter your admin password when prompted. It will not be echoed.
To turn them ON: sudo tmutil enablelocal
To turn them OFF: sudo tmutil disablelocal
Note that turning them OFF will also delete all existing snapshots.

  • My timemechine back up has deleted the old backup which had some data I really wanted, how can I recover the deleted old back up .?

My timemechine back up has deleted the old backup which had some data I really want,
Pls can someone help me how to recover the deleted backup by time machine ,
    Thanks,
    Mike
    10.7.4

Time Machine is not for archiving files. it keeps a record, backup, of what is on the internal hard drive in your system. Deleting files on the internal hard drive will eventually remove those files from the TM backup files.
Not sure there is anyway to recover them as TM thinks you no longer wanted or needed those files because you deleted them from the internal drive.
    Good Luck.

    Suman

I think just for deleting the jobs you can do this only
    Scheduling Delete Jobs
To schedule delete jobs, proceed as follows:
           1.      In the Integration Engine -
    > Administration menu, choose Schedule Delete Jobs.
           2.      Select the job(s) to be scheduled.
           3.      Specify the start time and date.
           4.      Specify the period you want to use and choose Schedule.
For an overview of all jobs, choose Jobs.

  • How to delete the runtime error in st22

    Hi all,
How to delete the runtime error in ST22. I want to clear
the list of short dump in st22
is there any T.code or any table to clear?
    thanks in advance
    sundar.c

    Hi
you cannot delete the dumps through any tcode.
All the dumps are stored in table called SNAP, If there are more dumps the table gets filled therefore u have to reorganize the table.
Run the report RSSNAPDL in SE38.
    or
You have the default SAP background jobs, SAP_REORG_ABAPDUMPS which deletes the past dumps raised in the system.
Scheduling the jobs in regular is very important

  • How to delete the Variants?.

    Hi Friends,
I have created Variants for MD process chains to be scheduled perodically. There are about 5 Process chains and for each process chain i have created a variant in SE38 , and i have scheduled each of them in the background job periodically.
Now I have to create a Variant only for Meta chain, i have done that. But i need to delete the Variants for each of those process chains which i have created. How to delete the Variants?.
    Can anyone please help me.
    Thanks in Advance.
    BN

You can delete variant from process chain with the below ways...
U can delete variants from table RSPCVARIANT (also see RSPCVARIANTATTR).
    OR
If u wanted delete complete process chain (including process variant), U can delete PC from table RSPCCHAIN (see also RSPCVARIANTATTR)
    OR
You can find Delete Feature in the Variant Itself. Open a variant - Delete
    OR
when you edit the process chain, right click on the process and select maintain variant. On the next screen you have a delete button.
    OR
you can use debugging to delete the variant if you are good at ABAP.
    Thanks,

  • What happens if I click "delete backup" in order to delete the iCloud backups from my sisters phone off my device. Will it delete everything on her phone?

So a while ago when I got my phone I started a new Apple ID account/ iCloud.. Then when my sister got a new iphone I gave her my id to use too. In settings-general-usage it says that my storage is almost full. I then click on manage storage and it shows my phone and my sisters phone and how many gb or whatever. Also it says "last backup failed" and other stuff that's Irrelevant. Now when I click on my sisters phone I have an option to "delete backup" MY QUESTION is if I click the delete backup button will it just delete the iCloud backup off my phone OR will it totally delete everything involving the backup off my sisters phone forever??? Please help! Thank you so much!!!!!

Deleting a backup deletes the backup only from the iCloud storage, not anything on the iPhone.
The iPhone's iCloud backup will be updated at some point - automatically when the iPhone is connected to an available wi-fi network while connected to a power source unless the iCloud backup is turned off on the iPhone.

If restoring using your backup didn't work, you'll have to save as much of your data as you can (import your photos to your computer, sync your contacts and other data with iCloud, email things like Notes and Voice Memos to yourself, sync with iTunes to transfer all your purchases, etc.) and then restore it as new without using your backup.
