How to delete videos already in iCloud 'Backup'?

My iCloud 'Backup' of camera roll is too high as it has videos. I have deleted all the videos from camera roll on my iP4. However, when I backup to iCloud again, it is not deleting the videos from cloud. Wouldnt iCloud delete automatically (when backed up next time) the videos in cloud when it is deleted from the camera roll on iP4? Or the only option is to turn off backing up of camera roll altogether to delete the videos already in cloud backup?

I got a MobileMe tech support guy help me with this. He was kind enough to help me on this iCloud issue. According to him, it might have been designed like this on purpose. In case you accidentally delete anything from your camera roll, you can use iCloud to restore the videos or photos as well. However, he agreed that this is an inelegant way and he has already flagged this issue with the iCloud team. He will be submitting a suggestion from my end to see if there can be an easier way out.

Currently, iMatch is turned off on my computer, as I do not want to upload any more songs. If I turn it on, will it upload all songs that are currently in my library? Is there another way that deleting them one by one?
You must enable iTunes Match on the new computer. The best way to accomplish what you want to do is to create a new, empty library by launching iTunes while holding down the Option key (Shift on Windows) and choosing "new library." Do not let iTunes scan for new content, but do enable iTunes Match on the empty library. Once the scan is finished you may delete tracks from the cloud. When you are done switch back to the main iTunes library.

  • How to restore Data from past iCloud backup? I lost my spreadsheets from Numbers, need help.

How to restore Data from past iCloud backup?
Is there a way where i can retrieve my spreadsheets from the past iCloud backup of numbers?

Your Numbers documents were synced with iCloud so they would be stored on the server rather than being included in the backup.  If you were signed into your iCloud account on a Mac that you were backing up with Time Machine, you could restore them from your Time Machine backup.

  • HT1766 How do I retrieve mistakenly deleted note from my iCloud backup

I mistakenly deleted a note from my iPad, I need this note, help how can I get it back

The way I did it was to:
    1. Go to my iPad (or any iDevice): Settings: General: Reset: Erase All Content and Settings.  This will wipe clean the iDevice, prompting you to set up as a new device or restore from an iTunes or iCloud backup.
    2. Restore from iCloud backup.  I had just deleted the note, so I chose an iCloud backup from the day before. You will need to be connected to your wifi network at this point.  Let it go through the motions of restoring the information.  It will give you an "estimated time remaining" status bar.  You need to be by your router at this point.  Once it finishes restoring, your iDevice will reboot. During the reboot, your iDevice will be loading all of the information that it just downloaded from the iCloud backup.  At this point, your old note will be in there, but as soon as it loads, if you're connected to the internet, it will re-sync with iCloud and you'll will right back where you were before you did the restore. I know because I did it once already.  To stop this from happening:
    3. As soon as your iDevice starts to reboot, turn off your wifi router or otherwise make it to where the iDevice has no internet connection. Your iDevice will finish loading the iCloud backup, and your notes will be as they were the day before or at the time of the last back up.
I only had one note that I needed to retrieve, so I copied it and opened an email and emailed it to myself. I was a little concerned that this may not work, seeing as I was not connected to the internet, but, once I reconnected, the email sent. Naturally, at that point my notes were all synced back to current, but I had the note in the email and, thus, was able to recreate the note.

  • I've deleted all my pictures, videos, AND disabled iCloud backup. Why does it still say my iCloud storage is almost full?

My iPhone 4s says that I only have 44.5 MB of my 5 GB left on iCloud. To fix this, it said to delete some data (which I did, 206 photos and 11 videos to be exact), and it still says I only have 44.5 MB left. I disabled iCloud backup, made all my backups straight to my computer and synced my phone at least 10 times but nothing's changed. Help? I really don't want to buy more storage in order for my phone to say I'm runnung out of it again. I also have an iPad but I haven't added anything to it for 4 months. I only have 10 pictures and 10 apps because I hardly ever use it.

  • How can I restore my latest iCloud backup from my iPhone 4 to my new iPhone 5?

How can I use the my latest iCloud backup from my iPhone 4 to update all my apps on my new iPhone 5?  I just registered it and it is a later version of the backup.  Can I reboot it now that I have a more current backup from my iPhone 4?

Restoring to an iCloud backup has to be done in the initial setup process.  If you have already set up your iPhone 5 you will have to erase it and go back through the setup again.  If you have any data on your phone now that is not in the backup that you are restoring to you'll need to do that first.  Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  You will then go through the setup screens as you did when the phone was new. When given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below).  Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.

  • TS4036 How do I restore from an iCloud backup into my iPad?

I'm trying to restore an app, which was accidentally deleted, how can I do that?

If it was on your iPad when you last backed up to iCloud, you can recover it by restoring to the entire backup (assuming it's still in the app store).
Restoring to an iCloud backup has to be done in the initial setup process.  If you have any data on your iPad now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first.  Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  You will then go through the setup screens and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup.  Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.
Or, if you just want to get the app back and not the app data, just redownload it as a past purchase: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519.
