How to delete videos permanently from itunes????

I transferred videos by clicked on icon "include videos" in photos column on my iphone from computer and now I wan't to delete them permanently from itunes but I can't delete them. Please help me to delete them.

Just find the video in iTunes library on your laptop and delete it. Automatically, the videos now won't appear on your iPhone anymore.

What do you mean delete from iTunes? You can't do that on an iPad. You can delete apps in iTunes on a computer. If you want to delete an app on the iPad, tap and hold down on the icon until the icon wiggles, then tap the X appears on the icon to delete the app. Tap the home button when finished.

Hello, Maybe you could go to iTunes and delete or move those files from there. Open up iTunes-------->In the top right corner go to Ipad------->once you are there, in the top part, you will find were it says Summary/Apps/Tones/Music/etc...on there click on Movies or Tv Shows, not sure where you have those videos. Once you are there you will see Little boxes right by the Movie name, those boxes have a check on them...which means they are synced on your Ipad. If you don't want them anymore click those boxes so the check disapears. If you don't want any of those files just in the Top tittle were it says: Sync Tv Shows, if there is a Check on the box...click the box so the Check dissapears and now click "Sync" at the bottom, and booom all the series have dissapeared from your Ipad I hope this helped and if you have any other questions please don't be shy to ask....

i have tried the clear downloaded artwork, but this didn't work. is there any other way that i can delete album artwork from itunes? i am assuming the artwork is embedded in the files, since the clear downloaded artwork didn't work.

I think this might have been answered before, but this is what I know.
One way I'm aware of to clear artwork is to do a properties of any album you want to clear the artwork from, go to artwork, select the artwork and delete it.
Iirc, iTunes holds the artwork in it's database and not physically with the audio file. I normally use "Mp3tag" to add my artwork to albums so the artwork is embedded in the audio files, I tend to steer clear of adding artwork in iTunes itself. Just be weary when adding images to the audio files themselves: The audio files will increase in size of the image itself, I think that's why iTunes doesn't physically add it to the files.

I had an Ipad from where I work, but I had to set up my own itunes account for it. I purchased an Ipad 2 and want/need to return the one I have from work. I have been able to delete all info from the device. I can't delete the account from itunes though. It doesn't have a device listed for it. Did it wipe it out when I deleted the info on the device or am I missing something.

Anyone know how to delete an App from itunes library?

Hi All,
I have a number of Apps that I have tried to remove from my itunes account. These are just games that I no longer play or have never played.
First I tried selecting the App in itunes, then Edit/Delete then it will ask you if you want to remove file. Then I emptied the trash.
This did not work. Now every time an update is available for the previously deleted App it will download that update then try and re-download the full game.
Secondly I have tried going to "finder" and finding the file on the Mac HD. and then deleting the file/game this way.
This also did not work and again the game is try to re-download.
As you can imagine this is becoming quite annoying and is starting to clog up my downloads when I check for other updates.
Can anyone help???

I found it!
In the upper left corner click on the TV Shows icon.
On the right about half way down click on "Purchased".
This is the important part, click on "My TV Shows". A list of all of your shows will appear.
Click on the show you want to delete. You can select all seasons or a single season or just a single show.
Click on "Edit" in the menu bar near the top of the page. If you don't see the menu bar press ctrl+B to show/hide the menu bar.
Click on "Delete" and you will be prompted to confirm the delete. Click "Delete".
You will then be asked if you want to keep the files. Click on "Delete Files".

I recently run into this problem and stumbled across your forum in an attempt to figure it out myself. The trick is that you cannot delete photos that your computer is synching to your iPhone, just open your iTunes go to photos and take OFF the automatic photo sync. After you do that apply the update and you will notice all the pictures that remain on your phone are deletable. You're post is not entirely clear as Siri doesn't store anything. If what you mean is that if you search using Spotlight, you still see old text messages, that means that they are still in the Messages cache. You would need to restore the phone as new to get rid of them.
