How to deploy a realpayer's file in W eblogic 6.1?

I have installed Weblogic 6.1 success. But I can't deploy a realplayer file
(ram file).I had search the bea web sites with the key word "realplay",but I found
nothing.Who can help me?Thank's a lot.

Is it possible to do both gzip and tar -xvf in single commnd because we don't have that much space on the server
when we execute gzip -d /u01/backup/backup_prod/prod_db.tar.gz it will create file as prod_db.tar again we need to execute
tar -xvf /u01/backup/backup_prod/prod_db.tar
In the above command either we need to give . to untar the files in the same directory same like Linux.
With out . in aix the untar files are over riding on source location i.e /u01/erp/prod

Ensure that you have followed below directory structure while deploying your web application.
   web_application_name
      WEB-INF
         lib
         classes
web.xml must be placed in WEB-INF. Ensure that you have included all the jar files and other necessary files in your application.

I want to deploy web application which is developped using JAVA web technology into SAP netweaver Engine.
I tried to deploy .war file through SDM but it complained the following error

I think first you need to wrap it into an EAR file, then you can deploy it.
As far as I know standalone deployment of WAR is deprecated as of 640.

How to deploy/open a swf file?

I have developed a SWF application using FlashBuilder 4. I can run it from FlashBuilder 4 and the SWF file runs with adl.exe.
However, I want to open/deploy this swf file from another computer that does not have FlashBuilder installed.
How can I do this?

If the SWF uses AIR APIs, then you must package it as an AIR file and install it on the other machine (which must have AIR installed). Use the Export command in Flash Builder. (Since it seems that you developed the application as an AIR project, this is most likely what you should do, but I can't be sure since you are calling it a SWF application rather than an AIR application.)
If the SWF does not use any AIR-specific APIs, then you could also install the standalone Flash Player on the other machine and then just double-click the SWF to launch it. You could also make the SWF into an executable file using the standalone Flash Player, in which case the other computer does not need the standalone Flash Player installed. You can get the standalone Flash Player from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

How to Deploy a ColdFusion WAR File

ColdFusion 9 (and other versions) has the ability to package a CF application as a WAR file. Has anybody on the planet ever done this and successfully deployed their ColdFusion application to something like CloudBees (http://www.cloudbees.com/) or Amazon Elastic Beanstalk (http://aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/)?
I have tried both and failed. Google is strangely silent on the issue, coming back with almost no search results. Has anyone out there done anything like this?

I have question regarding deploying Custom HTML files in OBIEE 11.1.1.5, i tried to place files under
Middleware/Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/web/app/olh/l_en and tried to access with below URL after bounce Weblogic...but no luck.

Hi Ravi,
I am thinking deploying these html files as a part of separate application in weblogic might be another approach. This process is like
1. Making a .war(.ear) of your html
2. Deploying the .war in weblogic through deployments as an application with an application context.
3. Referencing the files in analytics or even outside just through a url.

How to deploy .WAR or .EAR or .SDA file

dear friends,
I created a dictionary file and an ear file.
From Netweaver studio i configured SAP J2EE Engine with the IP address and the port number as 3601 ( even i tried 3601, 50000)
But after selecting file and click on deploy, it is giving
Deployment aborted message.
But i can deploy .par file from netweaver with out any problem.
Can anybody tell me how to deploy .ear and .sda files
What are other ways i can deploy

How to deploy a war file on Weblogic Server 7.0??

I am trying to deploy a servlet on Weblogic Server 7.0 as a WAR file. Can anyone of u plz tell me the steps required to do that. I am posting this question on EJb forum and not on servlets coz this is not a servlet problem, rather this is something which is related to J2EE, ie how to deploy a war file on J2EE Server.
This is how i have done it, but this is not working---
(1) First i created a directory structure for the web application according to J2EE Specification.

i.e within work directory, there is a dic called myServletWAR which is my application directory which contains 2 sub directories viz META-INF which contains the mainifest file being generated by the jar utility. the second directory in the myServletWAR application dir is WEB-INF, which contains one file called web.xml for servlet mapping and one directory classes which contains HelloServlet.class
(2) I used following command for creating war file from myServletWAR director(i.e from my web application's directory).
jar -cvf TestServletWAR.war .
This creates the TestServletWAR.war file in myServletWAR dir.
Here is how my Servlet and web.xml looks like...

After deploying the TestServletWAR.war file on the weblogic 7.0, i tried to execute the servlet from the browser by the following URL
http://localhost:7001/myServletWAR/myHello
I am getting the HTTP 404 Error, which is an indication that weblogic was unable to find the resourse, which it was requested for. Can anybody plz tell me what i m doing worng?? do i need to use weblogic related xml file (i.e weblogic.xml) also along with web.xml. If yes, then what all i need to include that. I m not very sure. A sample weblogic.xml file for this HelloWorld example will help me a lot.

I need to deploy my application's EAR file in OATS to test it.
I have installed OATS 12.0 version and also have started the demo setup i.e the medrec application from the documentation.
Now, how can I setup my application in OATS...I have the ear file and the database credentials.

Those are demo samples provided with ATS

Thats why I am confused, how the ear has been deployed....there are two locations available with different credentials.2 different locations because 2 different applications not running in the same container (different port, different url)

How to deploy a war file with no descriptors in WLS - quick question

Hi All
How do we deploy a war file, which doesnt have weblogic.xml nor web.xml in it ?
We have these xml files.
1- How do we include these xml files ? any command line to do that ?
2- Which is an easier approach to deploy a war file
a) include these xml files into the war and then deploy with WLS using weblogic.Deployer or
b) explode the war and then copy these xml files to its WEB-INF ?
Is there an example we could use to follow to deploy our war file ?

we can deploy with ias standard form server , but EBS 's appsweb.cfg
was automatically generated by AutoConfig , so i don't know how to config our jar in EBS env.

Hi all, I am confronted by the same problem.
I have manually added my custom Jar files to the archive=2 section of the appsweb.cfg config file in the $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.2/forms/server and placed the Jar files in the $COMMON_TOP/java/classes/oracle/apps/fnd/jar.
I know that this is probably not the way to go, as autoconfig will override these settings, but my first priority is getting these jar files to run in Apps Forms without errors. I got as far as that my forms don't error out anymore but not all of them are working as they should. I am also trying to deploy the WebUitl utility in EBS R12. As far as I can tell this should be supported by Oracle as it comes as part of a standard Apps Installation (except for the Jacob.jar) it can be found in: $ORACLE_HOME/forms/webutil directory and the WEBUTIL_CONFIG reference to the webutil.cfg file can be found in the default.env in the same directory as the appsweb.cfg.
If you want to look at some very good examples of PJC's there is a very good blog: http://forms.pjc.bean.over-blog.com/. You can also look at Francois Degrelle's blog on Read/Write files on the client machine without Webutil.
Nevertheless information on how to deploy and run these PJC's under EBS is scarce. Metalink offers no solutions except very outdated notes.
I would appreciate to know how to properly deploy these jar files in EBS
I am also on 12.1.x. Btw there are more threads on this subject on OTN but most are outdated (threadID=1067917, 686329, 4246525) and don't provide the solution for EBS R12.1.x.
Any help would be appreciated.
