Could like to know if there's any guideline on how to deploy those C3P0.EXE
I'm using VB6 to create the C3PO.exe to connect to a DMS system. At the
moment I make a package to install those required files and then run the
C3PO.exe /r.
I would like to know if there's any better way to make it a one step
procedure rather than two.

A .exe file is a Windows executable. OS X does not run Windows programs. If you need to use .exe files then you will need to install Windows on your Mac:
Windows on Intel Macs
There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.

Suite 10g. This includes Forms and Reports.this topic interests me too, because I've downloaded Developer Suite and Database (both for 10g) from Oracle website, installed them, but I couldn't connect to a database.
What should be done for me to create a database link and be able to connect locally, in my personal Desktop computer? (Not to a server)
Once it was told me here that I should download 10g Database - I did it, and installed it, but it didn't work. Later, some of my job partners said I should install them in a sequence - that is, 1st the Developer, and 2nd the Database. But it has failed too. And I don't know how to configure a database connection.

I placed the SDA file in the JSPM inbox directory and the JSPM could not detect this file as hotfix. I am getting the following error, it looks like i need to use the Netweaver developer stuido to deploy the SDA files.
I am getting the following error even after placing the sda file in the respective directory.
No applicable development component(s) found for deployment in Inbox directory
sappn5\sapmnt\trans\EPS\in.

In terms of converting java applications into exe files, there are 3 schools of thought:
1) Instead of converting it to an exe, convert it to a jar file. Jar files are more portable than exe files because they can be double-clicked on any operating system. The caveat is that a Java interpreter must be installed on the target computer for the double-clicking to work.

2) Create an exe launcher that, when double-clicked, attempts to find a Java interpreter on the local computer and launches the Java application. The exe file is still double-clickable but whether your java application runs depends on whether a Java interpretor is installed on the target computer.

I want to know how to deploy the goldengate on EBS R12 , not for reporting , only just for Disaster recovery .
I have read 1112325.1 (Deploying Oracle GoldenGate to Achieve Operational Reporting for Oracle E-Business Suite) , and I think that was not enough .
It was difficult for me , cause there're lots of objects in EBS , and what should be notice , for example , the triggers , the sequences , and so on .
Had anybody done this before or deployed this sort of thing , please give me some advice and help .

Create an Iview in the portal and give the application name of your component and run it. As portal is the part of the SAP Netweaver. Where ever you want you can call the application as it is a URL.

assumed you talk about Tomcat in general.
Simply copy you archive (xyz.war) into the subdir \webapps of your tomcat installation.
Invocation: http://hostname:port/xyz/resource
-> where xyz is the name of your archive and
-> resource is what you have specified within web.xml (<servlet-mapping> - tag) or a jsp / html you have in your archive.
-> host is your machine (try localhost for instance)
-> port usually is 8080

How to deploy the native dll with the applet package by Sun Java Plugin

I have an applet which use some native methods. I have written code for the native dll, but I don't know how to deploy the DLL with the applet jar file for Sun Java Plugin. What parameter do i should pass to System.loadLibrary()? I think the solution should don't care which browser used by the end client. How to do it? How to deal with the applet security problem?

I have a similar problem.
Trying to use the javax.comm package requires that the user have the win32com.dll located on their machine.
I have solved the problem by using a signed applet that allows me to write the dll to the clients machine and then run the code but ideally I would like to run the code without writing the dll to the users machine...i.e. I want to load the dll directly through the applet in the same way the class files are loaded forthe applet are loaded without copying them to the clients machine. After trying everything I have come to the conclusion that it is NOT possible. The calls loadLibrary and load both require that the dll reside on the clients machine. If anyone has had a different experience please rebut this.

Based on your answer, I am sure you have had the ard file and installer of the UI addon. is the addon to hide some certain fields ?
Have you tested the addon directly while you are being in the programming windows, I mean before you create installer and ard file ?
Line VB6, I could directly execute the addon and I let the SBO running before do that. I could see the addon result.
Anyway, the deployment is on the SBO server.
The next step after registration is go to tab user preferences. Click the user that will require the addon when it is running --> choose automatic in the column preferences of the addon. you could also choose manual but if manual, user have to start the addon after login to SBO client.
Do that for other user that also requires the addon.
