How to design the cube with these 51 columns

Hi All
These are the fields in the data file; GLInput, Scenario, Jan03, Feb03, Mar03, Q1_03…( like this 51 columns are in the data file, example; for 3 years data it includes 12 months for a year and 4 quarter for a year and 3 year columns. ( the time period columns are like this; Jan03,Feb03,Mar03,Q1_03,Apr03,May03,Jun03,Q2_03,Jul03,Aug03,Sep03,Q3_03,Oct03,Nov03,Dec03,Q4_03,FY03,Jan04,Feb04,Mar04,Q1_04,Apr04,May04,Jun04,Q2_04,Jul04,Aug04,Sep04,Q3_04,Oct04,Nov04,Dec04,Q4_04,FY04,Jan05,Mar05,Feb05,Q1_05,Apr05,May05,Jun05,Q2_05,Jul05,Aug05,Sep05,Q3_05,Oct05,Nov05,Dec05,Q4_05,FY05 )
Under these time period columns the values are belongs to Scenario values

How to take / create InfoObjects and create the cube? I created the cube but it is not the correct designing because cannot able to upload the file with these 51 time period columns.
There are some more columns are in the data file, those fields are calculated / formula fields from Sales and Units Values. example:AvgSalesPrice(Formula: Sales/Units)
Please advice how to solve this

How to take / create InfoObjects and create the cube? I created the cube but it is not the correct designing because cannot able to upload the file with these 51 time period columns.
There are some more columns are in the data file, those fields are calculated / formula fields from Sales and Units Values. Example: Average Sales Price(Formula: Sales/Units)
Please advice how to solve this

    In BI 7.0,
    we cannot add a characteristic to an existing dimension if the data is not deleted from the cube.
    It can go to a new dimension and that will not change the existing structure of the cube tables, but will just add to it (as another dim table).  or use remodeling.

    We use it for mass changes, i.e. uploading new/replacement data and it is great, but there are limits on its functionality, depending on the complexity of the transaction you are trying to replicate.

    When doing a Full Optimization in the Rate cube I get a "The Cube with ID = Rate doesn't exist in the collection" error message. What is causing this error and how do I fix it?

    I have seen this error when reporting services was not properly configured. can you connect to http://servername/reports ?
    If not try to fix reporting services first, this solved the problem for me in the past.
    But usually in this case all the aplications are giving this error when modifying. Is this also the case in your appset?
    Does Apshell work when you modify the application there?

    But the parser still complain that the 'title' in slideshow2.dtd is declared
    more than once.
    I use apache's Xerces.
    I want to know if Xereces realy support namespace spec. now, or how to use
    the namespace with a parser. Can anyone kindly tell me where to find some
    material that demo the use of namespace in Java program.

    I am not sure how you can have two different languages inside the same PDF.
    Alternatively, if you want to place only the static labels, you can convert all the static label in one language to images and set the form language setting to other. And place the images inside the form using Image field. For example, you can keep the form language as English and then convert all the arabic language labels/ Static text to images.
    Anotherway,
         Have same sections in both the languages and hide and unhide based on the user selection of the language..
         if your user chooses Arabic, then you can unhide the Arabic sections and change the form language properties programmatically..

    Hi Lalit,
    1) Go to Rsa6 and select the DS that belongs to your particular cube , and double click on it and note down the ES name .It is
    2) Go to Se11 and keep the ES name at DATATYPE and clcik on Display. and then Click on Append structure Button.
    3) Give the techinica name to AS in the immedaite screen and then give description in other screen and enter the zzfields that you want to add. Finally activate the Append Structure.
    4) aggin goto RSA6 and enter into change mode for the DS , and then remove tick mark for newly added fields aginst Hide only .
    5) Replicate the DS into BIW.
    6) give th ccoding for these newly added fields in CMOD.
    7) in CMOD , you need to use already existing project. If there is no project existing,then create new one . While creating take RSAP0001 as Enhance ment assignement.
    8) you have to code the ABAP lines in EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 component and in the include ZXRSAU01.
    9) Donot forget the activation of Project and include after every modifications.

    STEPS IN DESIGN
    1. Import idoc from the SAP System (SAP02) through imported objects.
    2. Create Data Type, Message Type, Message Interface for the Outbound File.
    3. Create Message Mapping with file Message and idoc (Matmas04)
    5.Create Interface mapping between File Interface and the idoc.
    Steps to be followed in Creation of Technical and Business System
    Technical System
    In SLD, click on technical landscape->New Technical System->WebAS ABAP.
    Business System.
    1.Goto Business Landscape->New Business System->Name the business system.
    2. Choose the technical system that needs to be attached->WebAS ABAP->Technical System Name.
    Preconfiguration steps for transfer of data to IDOCS
    1.Create a RFC Destination in SM59 of XI Server of type.
    2.In transaction IDX1 ,create a port for the client of XI server.
    3. The port has to be displayed in the idx2 transaction and we should be able to view the idoc’s which we imported through integration repository.
    Steps in Configuration
    1. Goto service without party, right click->Assign a business system.
    2. Choose the business system to be added.
    3. Create a File Sender Service with communication channel for the same.
    4. Create an idoc receiver channel under the business system.
    7. The Idoc type( which data is to be written) is mentioned as inbound parameter.
    8. Mention the logical Name in the Service->Adapter Specific Parameters of both the File Sender Service as well as the business system.
    9. Make the Sender Agreement for theFile Sender with communication channel.
    10.Create the Receiver Determination and Interface Determination for the business system.
    11.Create the Receiver Agreement for the Business system.
    Step for Configuration fo IDOC in R/3
    SM59-rfc destination
    IDX1-port
    IDX2-load metadata
    we05-IDoc status records
    BD54-Create Partner Number
    We20-Create Partner Profile
    WE19-Testing IDoc Processing
    Do these configurations in R/3 and in XI...
    SAP XI
    1) RFC Destination (SM59)

    b) Specify the name of the RFC destination
    c) Select connection type as 3 and save

    e) Enter the Gateway host as same details above SID/URL.

    a) Create New
    b) Create the Partner no. name as same the logical system name of the destination system.

    d) Enter details for Type: US/USER, Agent, and Lang.
    e) Click on the + button to select the message type.
    f) Select Partner no. and LS which ever create above.
    g) Select Message type
    h) Select Process code related to the Message type.
    I) save.

    Compression: DB statistics and DB indexes for the InfoCubes are less relevant once you use the BI Accelerator. In the standard case, you could even completely forgo these processes. However, note the following aspects:
    Compression is still necessary for inventory InfoCubes, for InfoCubes with a significant number of cancellation requests,
    and for InfoCubes with a high number of partitions in the F-table. Note that compression requires DB statistics and DB
    indexes (P-index).
    DB statistics are necessary in particular for real-time InfoCubes and reading the most current data.
    DB Indexes (index on the time dimension) are necessary in particular if the E fact table is not partitioned. Note also that you
    need compressed and indexed InfoCubes with up-to-date statistics whenever you switch off the BI Accelerator index.

    Hi , In Production system, I have a sales multicube which has data coming in from sales overview and sales history cube. Data is loaded from mARCH 2006 to Till date every day in 2 basic cubes "sales overview" and "sales history"
    Question 1:I need to now avtivate  "ship to party - postal code" which  is there in two basic cubes but not checked so I now select the check mark in nav attribute "ship to party - postal code" for both the cube in development system. and same in mULTICUBE should I Transport 2 basic Cubes, and Multicube and All effected Queries or just the query in which change is requested.  
    Question #2 : How to reload all the data which is right now there in Production, If I transport the cube with changes from DevLOPMENT to Production will the data be deleted in Production. All Data is feeding in Cube from ODS so Can I just Transport the cubes in Production and Use Update data to data target in ods. will the data be reloaded in cubes by doing that. Data loaded is delta so please let me know asap what will be best way to make the change and also save the data that is right now there in cubes in Production. since i have to transport it from dev no changes allowed in production.Hope you will reply back soon.         You need to transport the Sales Overview cube, Slaes History, Multicube cube and modified Queries.
        when ever you make changes like Making Navigational there is no need to delete the data. you just do one transport.

    i said the 2nd file name you listed in message 6 was incorrect, not the file name in message 8.
    but if the file name message 8 is correct, both names in message 6 are incorrect.  or you just might have a typo for the first file name.
    in any case, make sure both file names are exactly the same but have different (a 7z and an exe) extensions, put both in the same directory and then click the exe.
