How to detect the iPhone Date and Time

Hi guys,
I am new this plateform and I am working on an iPhone application in Objective-C. I need to detect the date and time of iphone clock in the objective-c.
Please let me know if anybody knows how can I do it.

Ranjit,
Be sure to consult the docs for the iPhone SDK. If you are running the simulator, you probably have access to frameworks and classes not available on the phone itself. The iPhone docs don't show NSCalendarDate as a valid class for iPhone (but it exists for MacOS). I think you'll need to use NSCalendar if you wish to have it run on the device (and not just the simulator).
Do you have a device you are testing on? It would be good to verify this (I don't and therefore must use the simulator).

If your code is running on the client pc you can just create a new instance of the java.util.Date class. That class automatically defaults to the current time of the client machine. Otherwise if you're running the code on the server, you could insert/post the client date/time by adding its string representation as a parameter to the HTTP request object.

How to display the current Date and time in xslt version 1

i am using xslt version 1 .i want to display the current date and time in the output xml using xslt(Jdeveloper) ..i just added the namespace xmlns:xp20="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/oracle.tip.pc.services.functions.Xpath20"

and used thsi function <xsl:value-of select = "xp20:current-date()"/>
but it does not works for me ..help needed????

Use a formula: =NOW()
Format the cell for Date and Time, with both the Date part and the Time part displayed. Format the two parts as you wish, using the choices in the Inspector's menus.
The cell will update each time the table is recalculated.
(Description is for Numbers '09 (Mac), Numbers for iOS will be similar, but not necessarly identical in details.)

Not natively that I know of. You could use a LabVIEW DLL call to link
to a Win32 API call which sets the date and time. You would need to
have privileges to do it.

But it show the warning as;

Since webutil allows you to write file on client PC directory, then you first create a directive file, then host that directive file. the directive file content is just the command lines when you manually do it on PC.

How to enter a new Date and Time each day in a Numbers Spreadsheet...

Hi... I have finally decided to move away from Excel and really give Numbers a shot... I have an application where each day I first enter the current date and time into a particular cell of a new row and then I enter some data in cells adjacent (in the same row) as that entered date-time. Then the next day I want to again enter the (new) current date and time and add more data next to that new date-time and so forth day after day... You can't use something as simple as =NOW() because then everyday, ALL of the date-times would change to the current time... Nope, now what I want... I just want to be able to EASILY and QUICKLY enter the current date-time value in one call and then have that specific value stay there forever... In Excel, this is accomplished with the keyboard shortcuts of
<cntl> followed by a semicolon (;) for the date
then enter a single space (for separation of date versus time) followed last by
<command> followed again by a semicolon...
So all together that is,
<cntl><;><sp><command><;>
and that puts something like
4/10/2010 9:49:00 AM
in a single cell...
That's what I now want to be able to do in Numbers...
How do I do that??? Do I use the menubar item "Insert Date and Time" and if so, how exactly do I get the current time to show up in the chosen cell??? With formatting??? Is there a keyboard shortcut method like the one I mentioned that works for Excel?? I've perused the manual and though I found lots on date-time, I didn't see how to do specifically what I want to do... I likely just missed it as surely it must be easy to do...

have a look at the Date class. new Date() creates an object containing the exact date and time at creation time. (Date).getTime() might be useful for comparing two dates. GregorianCalendar might be useful, too.

Wrote the current Date and Time in the backend

HI everyone,
I created a table view, where I display several records. Right now I will add an record to this table, which should be written back in the backend and automaticaly add the current date and time.
But I don´t know to make this. I tried several time with the funktion "now()", but it doesn´t work. So any help for me, to explain how I can display the actual time and then write it back to the backend?

we use a crm system. but the BAPI I mentioned was
just to play with. My basis will develop a new API
for the project, that have the requested Inputfields.
But what I tottaly forget was, that there has to be a
field for the time, so thanks for the advice.

I´m still of the opinion , that it should be possible
to add the curret time in a field with the
funcionality of the VC, even there is a way to show a
clock with the current time. My problem is that I
can´t figuer out how to do this.
Therefore you can use the TNow() function (Time functions) and the Now() Function (Date functions). You can cast them to a string and concatenate the string, then you have the date of today with the current time. This string you can format and transfer it as input for your BAPI_ADD_BP for example.
