How to determine APNS settings are ON or OFF

Hi,
How can i determine from my App whether the Push notification for my app (alerts, sounds and Badges) are switched ON or OFF.
If it is OFF, I would like to warn the user and take him to the APNS Settings page from my app. How can I do that.
Could you guys provide some programming pointers to do that.

Apart from going to each computer that you think might be authorised and trying to de-authorise them you can't. And you can do a 'de-authorise all' once every 12 months, so you might as well do that and then re-authorise the ones that you still need (you can always individually de-authorise them again during the next 12 months).

I found at least partial answers to my questions.
MessageContext.getPropertyNames() can be used to see the properties on a given flow.
MessageContext.getProperty(prop) can be used to get information for paroperties such as:
prop=javax.xml.rpc.service.endpoint.address
prop=wsdl.portName

I'm having major buffering problems since the IOS7 upgrade. Proxy settings are set to off.

I,m having major problems with buffering on my iPad & iPhone since the IOS7 update. My proxy settings are set to off.

Turning off and back on or hard reset seems to work for a day or two. After resetting I am occasionally losing messages that were there before reset. In addition, I have had 3 messages that I received a notification for when they came in but go into messages and not there. Message incon still shows 3 unread messages but when I open messages I have no unread messages??? Power on-off or hard reset does not seem to fix this. At least a reset gets imessages working again. Hope fix is out soon. This is a PIA.

How to determine if reports are being run/used

I have two Crystal report environments. One being version 7.5 and the other is version 10. Between them, there is a very large number of reports (1000's) that accumulated over the years. I am looking for a way to be able to tell which reports are being run and actually used. By used I mean actually being pulled from the repository. I do not know all the specific details of the environments and not a CR expert so it is hard for me to provide too much more details. Any help or suggestions on how to try to determine which reports are being used is greatly appreciated.

Question is; what is the Crystal report environment in your definition? E.g.; what is the actual product? It could be what used to be called Crystal Info (v 7), Crystal Enterprise (v. 10). Or it could be an app written by someone in your organization. Or it could be an app written by a 3rd party.
In any case, getting answers for these products will be difficult as you're looking at products that are close to 10 years out of support (v. 10) and well over 10 years out of support (v. 7).

HT1937 How to change APN settings on IOS 6

I recently bought a iphone 4 and transfered my straight talk number.
More the less, my iphone is on straight talk.
The only problem is the IOS doesn't allow me to change my APN settings. Anyone able to help? Otherwise I'm going to just call up technical support, I pay for data so I'm determined to get it working!

How to determine which queries are in which workbooks?

HI Folks.
I am attempting to determine if there is a method by which I can determine which queries are utilized in which workbooks in SAP BW system.
I found table RSRWBINDEXT which gives me the workbookid and name. However I am not able to locate the table that gives me workbook id and query id.
Please let me know if you this table?

In BEx... copy workbook technical name.
After wards goto RSA1 metadata repository click-workbook---find your workbook.
If you click that workbook It gives receives information from all Queries list

Anyone know how to access 'APN Settings' ?

Can anyone tell me the steps to locating the APN Settings that I was told should be in the Advanced Options menu- but isn't there? I've got a BB Curve 8530 and need to make sure the TCIP selection is correct. Gotta be there somewhere- but I can't find it! Thanks! Aidan

This KB documents where to find the APN settings. Note carefully that if a theme is running, many things (including this) could be somewhere else...and the theme is in control of that, so there's no way to diagnose it. Falling back to the default theme should allow the KB to point in the correct direction.

How to determine which processes are using a module?

I want to find out which processes are using a kernel module.
However this info is shown neither with ``lsmod'' nor in
/sys/modules/<mod_name>/.
It's needed to reload certain modules which are acting buggy,
in a bash script. Right now I just keep a list of processes which
use the module and try to kill'em all, not exactly a beautiful
solution.
To work around it I compiled a kernel with
``CONFIG_MODULE_FORCE_UNLOAD=y'', however actually
trying to unload anything with this results in an unstable system.
Suggestions?

After successfully syncing the configuration database I ran the configuration compliance job once more, however with the same (misleading) results. Cross-checking the configuration reveals that none of the devices marked as compliant are actually having the "ip helper-address" configured.
Maybe it is something wrong with the input data I specified for the compliance template (ref step 1-6 in my first post)?
Or maybe the Compliance Jobs arent the best ways to determine whether or not my devices are having the "ip helper-address" configuration defined?

How to determine which photos are not in an album?

I have @ 5500 photos in V2.01 vor Os 10.2.8. I would like to determine which photo's are not in an album. I know I can write a perl script to do print this information, but it might be nicer if done from within iTunes.

There is a way that will take a little time but will give you the results.
Write down the name of all your Albums and number them.
In iPhoto add the new numbers (corresponding to the albums) as keywords.
After all the number keywords have been added you need to give the images in each album that numbered keyword.
Highlight an album in the source column, select all, then assign them the number keyword for that album.
do this for all the albums.
Make sure your view is set to view keywords.
You should be able to see any photo that does not have one of those number keywords.
there might be a simpler way, but I don't have iPhoto 2 to test for you.

SharePoint Databases - How to determine which ones are being used and which ones aren't

I am not sure where to exactly post this question. On the SQL Server side or on a SharePoint side.
I am a SQL Server Database Administrator who is monitoring some SharePoint databases. On a daily basis it seems that they are creating new databases but don't delete the databases that they are no longer using. For example, they might be testing
on a development server and if things aren't working properly instead of asking that the databases be deleted they just go ahead and create new databases to do what ever they need to do. Is there a way on the SQL Server side to determine which SharePoint
databases are being used and which ones aren't being used? Or does one determine this information through the SharePoint Central Administration console?

How to Determine Which Workspaces Are Open

We are currently doing some Git automation in which all developer work folders will get updated automatically. However, the automation script should skip a developer folder if CVI is open from that folder. For example, assume there are three folders.
c:\dev1\myproj.prj
c:\dev2\myproj.prj
c:\dev3\myproj.prj
If dev2 has myproj.prj open, the script will skip that folder. The way we tried to determine if a particular project is open is as follows:
1. Determine if CVI process is running.
2. If yes, get CVI window title.
We wrote a Win32 C++ utility for this purpose. Since the title shows the full workspace path, this information was sufficient. But recently, we noticed that if the path is too long, CVI shortens it (eg: c:\..\folder\myproj.prj). At the same time, if I hover the mouse on the title bar area, CVI shows a tool tip with the full path.
So I was wondering if there is any way I can read the tool tip string? Suggestions on approaching this in some other way are also welcome.

You could use ActiveX automation to connect to a running instance of CVI to find out what the current project is.
Once you determine that an instannce of CVI is running, you can then call CVI_ActiveApp to connect to it (look at samples\activex\cvi\build.prj if you're not familiar with ActiveX automattion). The one caveat is that it's hard to control which instance of CVI will be used by CVI_ActiveApp, in case more than one is running. But you can always also use the CVI_AppGetCVIProcessId function to confirm that you have the right one (whatever the "right one" means, in that case).
Once you have a connection, then you can use CVI_AppGetCurrentProject.

To make sure I understand, if you go to Settings > Networks and Connections > Mobile Network, do you see a APN option along the bottom of your screen?
If you do not, turn off your device, remove the SIM card, restart the device and you should see the APN screen which will allow you enter these details (APN, Username, Password & Authentication Type). After entering these details, insert your SIM and test. Thanks!

you just see a rule for the org model named
orgman 12
it actually drives the sales org info of the user assigned to the org unit
i guess the FM name is
CRMD_ORGNMAN_OBJECTS_7
but you can confirm it by goin inside the rule ORGMAN12
just use t code pfac
and there in go inside the rule for org model
and there in ORGMAN12 u can see the name of the FM

IS there any way to determine which option packs have been installed on 10g oracle enterprise edition . i don't seem to have grid control installed ?

No orainventory directory found However, it's the best way to know what are the installed product against your ORACLE_HOME.
You can run the OUI and look for the installed components if any.
