How to determine cursorline in table control
Hi,
Every time an entry is inserted in the table control i need to put the cursorline in the next line.
It is ok while you are using the initial lines of the table control but when you use the scroll it is gone.
The complet scenario is:
- my table control is created with 5 lines.
- Every time the user inserts a line, a new line is created (so you will have always 5 lines behind to complete)
- when the 5th line is inserted, if you want to fill the 6tn you have to use the scroll
- In this moment is when i dont know how to determine the cursorline. It will be different depending how much de the scroll is moved. Maybe the correct cursorline is 5, or 3 or 2... Do you know how i can determine it? Is it possible?
Maybe the way would be to move the table control (scroll) one position and always cursorline would be 5, but i dont know if it possible neither.
Thank you,
Manel
Sorry misunderstood the question.
You will have to use the variable topline from the tablecontrol.

How to populate data in table control .
hi all,
i put matnr no. in screen no. 103
validation is done at that screen only.
now when i want to modify dat record
when i put matnr no. at screen 103
so how i will get all data of dat number to table control screen.Hi Darshan,
Here is a detailed description of how to update data in table controll.
Updating data in table control
The ABAP language provides two mechanisms for loading the table control with data from the internal table and then storing the altered rows of the table control back to the internal table.
Method 1: Read the internal table into the Table Control in the screenu2019s flow logic. Used when the names of the Table Control fields are based on fields of the internal table.
Method 2: Read the internal table into the Table Control in the module pool code. Used when the names of the Table Control fields are based on fields of the database table.
Method 1 (table control fields = itab fields)
In the flow logic we can read an internal table using the LOOP statement. Define the reference to the relevant able control by specifying WITH CONTROL <ctrl>
Determine which table entry is to be read by specifying CURSOR <ctrl>-CURRENT_LINE.
After the read operation the field contents are placed in the header line of the internal table. If the fields in the table control have the same name as the internal they will be filled automatically. Otherwise we need to write a module to transfer the internal table fields to the screen fields.
We must reflect any changes the user makes to the fields of the table control in the internal table otherwise they will not appear when the screen is redisplayed after PBO processing, (eg, after the user presses Enter or scrolls) However, this processing should be performed only if changes have actually been made to the screen fields of the table control (hence the use of the ON REQUEST)
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
LOOP AT ITAB_REG WITH CONTROL TCREG
CURSOR TCREG-CURRENT_LINE.
ENDLOOP.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
LOOP AT ITAB_REG.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB_REG.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB_REG INPUT.
MODIFY ITAB_REG INDEX TCREG-CURRENT_LINE.
ENDMODULE.
Method 2 (table control fields = dict. fields)
If using a LOOP statement without an internal table in the flow logic, we must read the data in a PBO module which is called each time the loop is processed.
Since, in this case, the system cannot determine the number of internal table entries itself, we must use the EXIT FROM STEP-LOOP statement to ensure that no blank lines are displayed in the table control if there are no more corresponding entries in the internal table.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
LOOP WITH CONTROL TCREG.
MODULE READ_ITAB_REG.
ENDLOOP.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
LOOP WITH CONTROL TCREG.
CHAIN.
FIELD: ITAB_REG-REG,
ITAB_REG-DESC.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB_REG
ON CHAIN-REQUEST.
ENDCHAIN.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE READ_ITAB_REG OUTPUT.
READ TABLE ITAB_REG INDEX TCREG-CURRENT_LINE.
IF SY-SUBRC EQ 0.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING ITAB_REREG TO TCREG.
ELSE.
EXIT FROM STEP-LOOP.
ENDIF.
ENDMODULE.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB_REG INPUT.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING TCREG TO ITAB_REG.
MODIFY ITAB_REG INDEX
TCREG-CURRENT_LINE.
ENDMODULE.
Updating the internal table
Method 1
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
LOOP AT ITAB_REG.
CHAIN.
FIELD: ITAB_REG-REG,
ITAB_REG-DESC.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB_REG ON CHAIN-REQUEST.
ENDCHAIN.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB_REG INPUT.
ITAB_REG-MARK = u2018Xu2019.
MODIFY ITAB_REG INDEX TCREG-CURRENT_LINE.
ENDMODULE.
Method 2
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
LOOP WITH CONTROL TCREG.
CHAIN.
FIELD: TCREG-REG,
TCREG-DESC.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB_REG ON CHAIN-REQUEST.
ENDCHAIN.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB_REG INPUT.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING TCREG TO ITAB_REG.
ITAB_REG-MARK = u2018Xu2019.
MODIFY ITAB_REG INDEX TCREG-CURRENT_LINE.
ENDMODULE.

MODULE USER_COMMAND_100.
CASE OK_CODE.

CHECK ITAB_REG-MARK = u2018Xu2019.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING ITAB_REG TO TCREG.

Hi All, How we can handle a table control in bdc - in detail its urgent pls
Hi All, How we can handle a table control in bdc - in detail its urgent. Please send me the explanation in detail.
Thanks®ards.
Bharathi,
Create Table Control
Step 1 (Create new structure for table control)
Type is name of structure (ZTC_EKKO) and press create
Step 2 (Create Program)
Goto transaction SE80(Object Navigator) -> Repository Browser -> Program.
Enter your program name, please ensure that is begins with SAPMZ as this is a module pool (dialog program).
Press enter to create, and press yes!
Ensure that you create a top include, and press Enter.
Accept the name created for the top include.
Press Enter.
Press Save
Step 3 (Create TOP include)
Double click on the top include and enter following ABAP code:
Tables: ZTC_EKKO.
controls: tc100 type tableview using screen 100.
data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
data: it_ekko type standard
table of ZTC_EKKO initial size 0,
wa_ekko type ZTC_EKKO.
data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
Press Save and Activate
Step 4 (Create screen)
Right click the program to create a screen 100 for the dialog. Enter Short description, set screen type to Normal and enter 0 or blank into Next screen. Then move to Element List tab and enter the OK code as OK_CODE (i.e. the same as what you declared in the top include with data: ok_code type sy-ucomm).
Step 5 (Create table control)
Press the Layout button to bring up the screen painter editor.
Press table control button and drag it on to the screen, enter the name of table control created in TOP include (TC100). Now press the yellow button for attributes and set the table control as below options
Step 6 (Populate table control )
Press the orange button (Fields). On the next screen enter ZTC_EKKO and press the Get from Dict button. Select the fields you want (all) and press enter. Now drag them onto your Table Control.
Below is the result, there will been syntax errors if we check now! So Save and go back into the flow logic tab.
Step 7 (Create flow control )
Within the flow logic of screen 100 and create two modules, one to select the data from the database and the other to move the selected fields into the table control. Also insert the two loop statements to populate and retrieve the lines of the table control.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_0100.
module data_retrieval.
loop at it_ekko into wa_ekko with control TC100.
module populate_screen.
endloop.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
loop at it_ekko.
endloop.
MODULE USER_COMMAND_0100.
Double click the module data_retrieval to create and click yes to get past the popup. Ensure that a new include is created to hold all the PBO modules (default). Press enter.
Select 10 rows of data from the EKKO table and load into the internal table it_ekko. Go back to the flow logic to load this data into the Table Control.

How to create bdc with table control
hi all.
please some body tell me how to create bdc with table control
or suggest any www with screen shots
thanks in advance ,
aparnaHi AParna,
Its very Simple.
ALl you have to do is set up a counter based on the number of lines in the tabke. when the counter reaches the number of lines in the table hit the next page button which is at the top of every screen in SAP.
Please refer to the following BDC program I had developed using Table control,
this is for ME01 transaction.

How can i extend the table control while transfering the data
hi
how can i extend the table control while transfering the data.Hi,
For table control we have to handle the page down (P+, or what ever function codes are assigned to that activity) activity with our coding.
Just check out this code:
This is the bdc to update the XK01 transaction code (Vendor Creation).
Here we will use table controls for bankings. Here Iam sending the coding and text files.

Determine Lines in Table Control During BDC
Hello
I am trying to determine the number of lines shown on a screen for a table control during a BDC session. I know the number of lines shown in the table can be different as users can have different screen size, fonts, etc. My goal is to know how many lines are on the screen in the table so then I know how far I have to page down before I can select the appropriate line I want and then proceed with the BDC. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.Eric
If you use CALL TRANSACTION to run your BDC you can resolve your problem passing the parameters OPTIONS FROM <your structure> with these informations:
<your structure>-DISMODE = 'N'. "BackGround
<your structure>-UPDMODE = 'S'. "Synchronous
<your structure>-DEFSIZE = 'X'. "This field indicate that screen will be in standard size. So the lines you have in transaction SHDB will be always the same.
*The <structure> will be like CTU_PARAMS.
CALL TRANSACTION <tcode> OPTION FROM <your structure>.
Have some ways to count the lines during the execution of BDC, but I need to find in my programs. -
How to modify changes of table control data in PAI
I have a table control where the columns are brought by dict fields.I am able to bring data into table control through an itab.
Now what i want is whenever user edits data in table control and clicks on save button the corresponding changes should be made in database.
For this according to my understanding we need to (in PAI) modify the changes in itab from the table control and then in SY-UCOMM of SAVE button we need to update in database table using itab.
For this , I am not able to write code for modifying the changes in itab from table control. Here is my code below. Please tell me how to do this.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE FILL_DATA.
LOOP AT ITAB INTO ZEMPLOYEE_MASTER WITH CONTROL EMPTABLE CURSOR
EMPTABLE-CURRENT_LINE.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE STATUS_0001.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
LOOP AT ITAB.
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE USER_COMMAND_0001.
REPORT ZDATA_FORM1.
TABLES: ZEMPLOYEE_MASTER.
CONTROLS EMPTABLE TYPE TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN 0001.
data: begin of itab occurs 0,
emp_no like zemployee_master-emp_no,
name like zemployee_master-name,
city like zemployee_master-city,
end of itab,
rowno TYPE I VALUE 1.
*& Module STATUS_0001 OUTPUT
* text
MODULE STATUS_0001 OUTPUT.
* SET PF-STATUS 'xxxxxxxx'.
* SET TITLEBAR 'xxx'.
ENDMODULE. " STATUS_0001 OUTPUT
*& Module USER_COMMAND_0001 INPUT
* text
MODULE USER_COMMAND_0001 INPUT.
MESSAGE 'Inside INPUT' TYPE 'I'.
CASE SY-UCOMM.
WHEN 'SAVE'.
UPDATE zemployee_master.
WHEN 'EXIT'.
LEAVE PROGRAM.
ENDCASE.
ENDMODULE. " USER_COMMAND_0001 INPUT
*& Module fill_data OUTPUT
* text
MODULE fill_data OUTPUT.
select emp_no name city from zemployee_master into TABLE itab ORDER BY emp_no.
Describe table itab lines EMPTABLE-LINES.
ENDMODULE. " fill_data OUTPUT
*& Module modify_itab INPUT
* text
MODULE modify_itab INPUT.
* MODIFY itab from zemployee_master index
* MESSAGE 'Inside modify_itab' TYPE 'I'.
ENDMODULE. " modify_itab INPUTHi
In the following module of your code
MODULE modify_itab INPUT.
MODIFY itab from zemployee_master index tc-current_line " Where TC is the name of the Table control on the Screen
ENDMODULE.

main problen is how can know inserted line in table control and pass that data into ztable.Hi,
Follow the below logic,
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_0001.
MODULE POPULATE_TABLE_CONTROL. --> Get the data from table store in
ITAB
LOOP AT GT_CTRL_LP_D516 INTO GS_WA_CTRL_LP_D516
WITH CONTROL CTRL_LP_D516
CURSOR CTRL_LP_D516-CURRENT_LINE.
The following module moves data to control
MODULE MOVE_TO_CONTROL.--> Move data from ITAB to table control
ENDLOOP.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
LOOP AT GT_CTRL_LP_D516.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE EXIT AT EXIT-COMMAND.
MODULE USER_COMMAND_0001. --> Here you have to take out the values from table control and update database table

How to delete columns in table control (tab Services) for transaction ME51
Hi, gurus!
We're facing this problem in our upgrade: we have a batch input (ME51) in order to create purchase requisitions, but we get an error with the dynpro data (program: SAPMM06B, dynpro: 0102).
We are sure we populate all the required fields in that screen.
The only possible reason we find for that error is the fact that we have two new entries in table control (in tab services=> Current settings there are 67 fixed columns)
We had to add in table T162V (which previously had only 65 columns for each variant): ESLL-SRVMAPKEY y ESLL-EXTERNALID, as described on note 1382685, so table control and table T162V could have same number of fields.
We guess we could solve the batch input error deleting those fields in both table control and T162V, but don't know how.
We really would appreciate any clue.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
J. MadariagaIt's an own batch input.
The error is: "Batch input information for dynpro SAPMM06B 0102 does not exist", but the fields in that screen are alright.
And that batch input works fine in another client with same patch level, but without fields ESLL-SRVMAPKEY and ESLL-EXTERNALID in table T162V, so I guess that could be the problem (not sure about it, of course).

How to delete columns in table control
hi
1) I have creted a table control with five columns
now i want to delted the tow of the five coluent pls let me know how to delete it
1) also i am useing a module pool programming (code if needed i will paste)
in that the requirment is to select data from a ztable and aloow user to enter new ship to data only whne the corresponding records exists in kna1 table
and to populate the name1 value automatically from table kna1 whne user enters ship to number
pls suggest
regards
AroraHello,
Requirement 1
i believe you need to delete a row from the control table based on the user input...
if thats the case then definitely in the control table the multiple line selection will be activated .
in PAI of the control table screen...
if user has clicked delete.
loop at control table records..
if the selection code for the line is 'X'.
Delete from the internal table.
endif.
endloop.
endif.
Requirement 2..
i will give an outline on the checks
a)first let the user enter the data...in the PAI of the screen...write the code to do the checking....if your requirement is not satisfied provide a warning/error message or delete the record and give a message stating the reason for deletion...
in PAI.
for a control table...
loop at the table records
select from table and check if user record is O.K
if not delete the record and give message
endif.
endloop.
b)similarly inside the PBO write code to fetch the name1 from Kna1 table for the ship to number if that ship to number is not empty
in PBO of that screen
if ship_to is not initial.
select text for ship_to number to the display field
else.
clear the display field
endif.
reward if the suggestions were useful
Regards
