How do you determine total clicks in a EOS 5D ??

The Canon EOS-1D X comes with an actuation counter but other than that, I do not know of an accurate way of getting a 'real' count but you can read my Blog post on this topic and download a third party software to estimate your camera's actuation count.

I want to get the count for total rows updated in a table in a day. There is only two coulmns in the table. One is for EMP_ID & other for EMP_NAME. ( I want to do it without altering table or creating another column for storing updated date).

The problem is that the constraint that you cannot add an appropriate column to track updates is diametrically opposed to the requirement that they want a daily row count. Realistically, one of these two have to give-- either you need permission to add a column or your requirement is not feasible.
Theoretically, assuming the system is in ARCHIVELOG mode, you could use LogMiner, but that would be a bear to code and maintain, in addition to being a huge drain on performance. You could also enable auditing for the table, but that creates a variety of issues itself.

Looking at how to determine the "Total" Page Count on HP 2575 All-in-one printer? I've seen directions for other HP printers but can't seem to find any for the HP 2575 All-in-one printer. I am trying to find approximately how many pages my printer has printed since I've owned it. Any help is much appreciated.

Anyone know how to determine Macbook Air screen tech? Causing migraines

Hi There,
Last year, I expereinced a lot of mild migraines which I've traced back to a new Macbook Air.
At first I had no idea of the cause (diet, stress etc) but have noticed that my eyes feel uncomfortable looking at the screen of my Macbook Air (I don't have this issue with my Dell monitor).
My eyes don't hurt per se, but I can detect a sublte jittering with the screen - which can turn into a migraine.
After doing a bit of research, it seems like most (but not all) LCD and LED LCD displays use something called pulse-width modulation to control brightness but after calling Apple support, they told me my MBA doesn't use this technology.
Does anyone know how to determine the underlaying technology in Apple displays so I can research the cauase of my headaches? I found a good Ukranian website (in english) that explained pulse-width modulation but it didn't really talk about other technologies.
Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Go to LISTSCHEMA tcode in your system, give your CUBE name and execute.
You will fine two table E and F table
goto SE16 -->give the table name and click on number of entries.You will get number of records.

How to determine the ROWNUM in a Master Detail Form

Hello,
I am working in a Master Detail Form with Orders and Order Items Information; and I created a process that allows the users to select a Product ID on a tabular form, and the next column is populated automatically with the Product Description.
To achieve that, I followed some instructions by Denes Kubicek (http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:241), but my case is slightly different:
<ul>I am using a wizard-created tabular form, instead of a manual tabular form; and </ul>
<ul>Instead of using another page as a Popup to pass the parameter of the ROWNUM, I am using a plug-in called “Tabular Form Super LOV” which is a modified version of the SkillBuilders’ Super LOV that works on Tabular Forms. </ul>
The Product ID is returned in the correct row by the plug-in; but in the case of the Product Description, it is always returned into the first row; and my problem is that I don't know how to determine the row where the user clicked to call the plug-in.
I set up an example in apex.oracle.com in case someone would like to look at it:
Workspace: ediazjorge
Username: test
Password: test
App Name: Sample App
App Number: 1550
BTW, I am using Apex 4.1.1.00.23 and Oracle DB 10.3.2.

Unfortunately, it is still not working properly:
1. When the Popup LOV opens, the first row of the tabular form is 0, the second row is 1, and so on. How can I assign the values starting with 1 and in the format *0001* ? (I am still a novice on Apex and new to JavaScript :-), sorry about that).
--2. Also, when I close the Popup LOV, the value of P1_ROWNUM is ‘undefined’ again so I'm not sure if the Product Name column will be populated.--
3. And finally, you are using the jQuery Selector uPopupLOVIcon, which is an attribute of the Cloudy Theme. In my real application (Apex 4.1.1.00.26), my element looks like: *<img src="/i/lov_16x16.gif" width="16" height="16" alt="Popup Lov" alt="List" style="vertical-align:middle;" align="middle" />*. What do you recommend me to use as a jQuery Selector?
Again, I really appreciate your help and time. I think you solved the most difficult part.

Update: I just found out that the problem with my comment 2 is because I didn’t delete the previous dynamic action that set the value to P1_ROWNUM.

Hi, I tried another logic. I took value from Standard button, in which B2B application display total items and amount and I hide this field, to another text element.
Now I Am breaking that value in words and stored them in array and then trying to display that array with particular number which contains total item and amount through Java Script on Focus.
But problem here is, It is not getting updated automatically I have to click on new text files to trigger Onfocus event. How I can achieve effect like as soon as Standard button changes it's value which is now hidden filed my new text box should update automatically.

Hi,
Make sure that Total Heap + Native memory will be consider as total Memory.
That means in 32 bit you will have only at most 4 GB for process + additional 2 GB for OS.
So let assume if you have 4GM RAM then out of the 4GB you can allocate 2GB as Heap and 512m as Perm in case of Hot spot and remaining will be consider as Native memory.
But in case of 64 bit will change you will have good amount of the memory so you can use plenty of Heap and Perm size.

I'm working on the capacity planning of my new business one project and must know how to determine database growth. Does anyone did something like that before?

I think it is difficult to make any predictions about database growth because this depends on the volume of your business transactions, the number of users, the continuity of your master data...
For example a small number of users can create a lot of transactions (accounting, logistics) with big documents like sales orders with more than 100 items, or a lot of users who primarily look up things but only create small transaction won't create too much data and thus influence database growth in totally different ways.
You should collect information about the volume of daily business to make any forecasts.
If you start with an empty database, the first big growth will be when you upload your master data, but if only few business transactions follow, you shouldn't use that first increase for your calculation.
Is this your very first B1 installation, or do you already have B1 systems running? If you use the EWA service on a running B1 installation on a regular basis, then you will get a good impression of database growth and transaction volume but you should only use this as a basis for your calculation if the business of the new installation is similar to already running company's.

this should not require any manual confiuration. Can you select the ApplicationModule in the model, right click on it and run the ADf BC tester ? Check if he ViewObject runs if not added to JSF

I cannot find anywhere in Photoshop Elements where it tells the total of photographs I have in my collection. The old version told this number in the lower right hand corner. Is there somewhere in this newer version where I can find how many photos I have without having to count them? Please help. Thanks.

I am trying to code my repetitive tasks. I log into a destination web site and to gather information on a specific stock ticker, forexample APPl.
My existing code works successfully up to the point o fwhen I locate a "view" hyperlink I wish to run i.e.... double click on the hyperlink with the mouse.
I have been surfing the web, books, etc trying to figure out how to send click click as it were as keystrokes to launch the hyperlink.
I am unable to locate the information I need. I cannotbe the first person to launch a script that searches for the "generic" target and once the desired target is highlighted, I wish to launch the hyperlink that it has successfully located. The finder dialogue appears and successfully finds several matches for the <target>.   I enter keystroke enter once, to get to the specific hyperlink I want to launch but can not figure out how to pass"click" "click" or "dblclick" to the website hyperlink in AppleScript to automate this relative task, that will ultimatley launch the hyperlink sending me to the next web site in a PDF format that displays info I want to access.
If you would please help me to pass the desired mousebutton double click that will launch the hyperlink while inside theAppleScript.

I totally agree with Camelot when he says that “it's incredibly difficult to drive web pages via UI actions”. The above solution might work only with a few web pages.

the alv output will display the sum at the last row.
for this functionality u have do this logic.
data: lw_fcat type slis_fieldcat_alv.
data: lt_fcat type slis_t_fieldcat_alv/
wa_fcat-fieldname = 'AMT1'.
wa_fcat-tabname = 'ITAB'.
wa_fcat-do_sum = 'X'.
append wa_fcat to lt_fcat.
and then pass it to reuse_alv_grid_display function,
