I have to develop Custom OAF page like following navigation for an employee position hierarchy from bottom to top. Can we achieve this requirement through custom OAF Page, If achieve How?
If you go to HRMS Manager --> Work Structures --> Position --> Diagrammer. Here you can able to see the position hierarchy. Same as like this i have to develop one custom page. Pls let me know how to achieve this requirement.

I am a newbie trying to understand how one develops static pages in JSF. I fear I am going to require a hybrid development environment; that is, I will need two IDE's. For example, Dreamweaver AND Creator.
I'd like to just use one as it is more convenient, and the static pages will be configured as necessary as fully integrated pages. But I'm not sure how to use JSF/Creator to develop "plain vanilla" HTML/JSP pages.

I dont use it much, but im pretty sure there is a tabbed pane allowing you to swith between a HTML/JSF code view and a visual view, a little like dreamweaver. I currently hand code my JSF pages in a standard IDE, its not too tricky once you understand the tags, and it gives you flexible control which I like. Maybe this approach will work for you

How to Access Custom Event using AS3?

Maybe it's that its Monday morning and my brain is still foggy, but I can't seem to figure out how to set custom events using AS3.
I have a custom GridRow itemRenderer, and have declared the event using the appropriate metatags.
Then I create the GR item dynamically using AS3 instantiation, but the event is not available for selection in the intellisense drop-down.
Let's take the following as an example:

How do I go about setting the handler method for custom events on instantiated items? Do I need to do this via the AddEventListener() method? Does this mean that events aren't exposed in ActionScript like they are in MXML? (In MXML all I have to do is <MyRow myEvent="handler(event)" />.)

How to protect custom applications using oracle access manager?

Can someone brief me on how to protect custom applications using oracle access manager?

Is the Custom application a Web Application running on certified platform? If its Web Application then its no different you have to configure the access policies with http(s) as resource type.
If its not a web application you can write Custom access Gate and then implement. You would configure the policies similar to Web application (you can define your ouwn resource type if you like) and in the custom web gate you will use Access server SDK API to validate the access rules.

if you want to use a forum for sum purpose download an opensource forum software and deploy it in a server that support the serverside technology that it uses.
If you dont want to go through the trouble of installing the the forum software (normally there is a quaita bit of configuration to do). Goole for Free Forum Hosting and you will get plenty of places that hosts forums for you. Since they do the installation you dont have to wory about that part.
If you really want to develop a forum software first install an existing open source forum or get an account in a free forum hoster and take good look at the forum software and the features that it provides.
In here you only see the front end of the forum. The back end is much more complicated. You have to define forums and forum groups, you have to define user groups, you have to define which users has access to which forums. who can start topics and who can reply to topics and whgo has read only access. And how to clollect and stor statistics like number of posts by each user. And the list goes on...
So first take a look at the features in both front and back end of an existing forum software and decide what you want in your software. Then you can design the database to support those features. And then start coding.
Technicaly you will need to know how to do servlets/JSP and JDBC in order to build a forum. Most important part is you have to do lots of planing.

i am doing flex application which contains 5 different
pages,
to do this i have used viewstack component to navigate
between the pages.
this is working fine if all my pages are of same size. each
page as different background image.
but i have to create pages with different sizes.
my first and second page are small and remaining pages are
big.
when i navigate to 3rd or 4th page, it is showing scrollbar
inside swf.
but i want scrollbar for browser window not inside my swf
anyone please guide me how to create pages in flex
application.
i have one more doubt, if my page contains some html links ,
how to open those links,
is it posible to open the link in new window.
please help me , i have no idea how to create web
applications using flex

please tell me how to avoid this, Is their any other method

components will load. So when you open this please wait till
background image loaded, to move to next and back pages.

[JS CS5]How to get Custom Page size

I've been searching the answer of this simple question but looking no way around.
I have an InDesign document with different page size e.g. left page width is 621 pt. and on the same document right page width is 837 pt.
Now I need to get the width of pages using script but app.documentPreferences.pageWidth return standard document preset size(621 pt.) not the custom page size.
Does any one have the Idea to get custom page size using script.

as documentation is showing there are some new properties of "page" since InDesign CS5.
Among those is:
bounds Array of Measurement Unit (Number or String) readonly The bounds of the Page, in the format [y1, x1, y2, x2].
So:
myPage.bounds
and pageWidth of the documentPreferences might be:
myPage.bounds[3]-myPage.bounds[1]
unless myPage is transformed (e.g. rotated and/or sheared and/or scaled) with:
myPage.transform()
void transform (in: CoordinateSpaces, from: varies, withMatrix: varies[, replacingCurrent: varies][, consideringRulerUnits: bool=false])
Transform the page item.

Have you considered using the Scaling and Mapping Express VI or programming your own scaling algorithm in LabVIEW to manually convert the strain readings to force? The Scaling and Mapping Express VI allows you to apply similar types of scales to the DAQ Assistant, such as linear, logarithmic, interpolated from a table of points, etc.
If you really need the Fieldpoint driver to perform the scaling for you, some Fieldpoint modules support scaling. You can configure a scale on a channel in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) by going to your Fieldpoint Items under Data Neighborhood, selecting a channel in your module, and click on the Scaling tab on the bottom of the screen. Unfortunately, I don't have a FP-SG-140 module around to try out, but I know the scaling feature is available for my FP-AI-110. I'm using Fieldpoint 5.0 with MAX 4.0.

How to preserve custom page numbers when combining PDF's?

When combining multiple PDF's into one, the custom page numbers are lost.
Example: As four separate files (one page each), the pages are numbered as follows: AC-77, AC-78, AC-79, AC-80. When combining them into a single PDF, the page numbers become 1, 2, 3, 4.
