Documentation on How to Develop an OPC Client Using LabWindows/CVI?

What documentation is there on how to develop an OPC client application using LabWindows/CVI? What tutorials, if any, are there? What reference manuals, if any are there?
I am completely new to LabWindows/CVI. I will be starting soon with the tutorial, "Getting Started with LabWindows/CVI". However, our application needs to communicate with an RSLinx OPC Server. Any documentaiton on how to learn to do this would be very much appreciated.

How do I fetch projects from OEPE when the status of my Developer Cloud Service is 'unknown'

The status of my Oracle Developer Cloud Service has become 'unknown' since last March 30.
Even though the status is 'unknown', I created two project on the Service Console(Developer Cloud Service web interface) and they look fine.
But when I try to fetch the projects that I created on the Service Console from Oracle Cloud view of OEPE, nothing was fetched except my database service.
I assume that because of the status, OEPE can't fetch the projects.
If anyone knows how to solve this problem or any workarounds, please let me know
To be brief, the things I want to solve are followings
How to recover the status of my Developer Cloud Service as ‘Active’ again.
How to fetch the project that I have created on Developer Cloud Service Portal from Oracle Cloud view of OEPE.

When you log in to MyServices, are you able to successfully open the web ui for Developer Cloud Service (Open Service Console)? Do you see your projects listed in the Developer Cloud Service web UI?
In the OEPE Cloud View, were you able to provide your Cloud credentials successfully? username, password, identity domain and US Commercial 2 for the data center
Also, which version of OEPE are you using?

How to develop Framework Extension for join two tables

Dear developers,
My project contains more than 200 maintenance tables.
Maintenance tables are very small and less than 100 lines.
Maintenance tables mostly associated with a translation table.
Translation tables are used for localized texts.
Translation tables consists of Master Table Key + LanguageKey.
I want to edit customizing tables only session language as single table.
Translation table row may or may not be. Thats mean relationship is 1 to 0..1.
ADF table control ignore this relationship.
I tried view link between master view and detail view objects, but if translation table line is empty ADF table control throws translation iterator is null exception.
I tried entity based left joined editable view I get view link inconsisty problem.
In this case, the BC forcing me to framework extension.
How is develop solution?

give ur project name and press execute
the list will be displayed with all the document naem in the left panel as per the scenario and for linked documents it wil be under the column Name(Links) on the right side with other info like userid etc.
If your requirement is much more than this than u need to go for development.

How to develop ALV and select-option element in BSP? Help!

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where I have a selection screen with 3 select-option elements and a search button. On clicking the search button an ALV table report has to be shown.
The ALV table is used for new row/rows entry, delete row/rows and update row/rows data. This is something like table control in normal ABAP.
Additionaly, I want the download to Excel, sorting, filtering, column swapping options in ALV.
How can I achieve this in BSP?
Is there any existing SElect-option and ALV component in BSP?
Any code sample will be really helpfull.
How much development time will it take?
Please help!

I think you will find that most of what you are looking for does NOT exist out of the box for BSP. There is no delivered selection-option or value help. I ended up creating my own over the years (You can find some versions online here in SDN in my weblogs - however a complete implementation of select-options was only delivered along with the Advanced BSP Programming book).
There is no ALV either. However with the htmlb:tableView, you can acomplish quite a bit. You may have to learn about table view iterators to get it all done. Downloading to Excel also isn't delivered. I developed a reusable BSP Extension element for this as well (can be found on SDN in my weblogs or with the Advanced BSP Programming book).
If you plan to recreate all these elements by yourself, your project will take some time. It took a while to build so many complex UI elements.
What release are you running on? In Netweaver04S you have Web Dynpro ABAP. WDA has delivered components for value help, select-options, and ALV.

Project Documentation Format

Hi SAPians,
We are a bunch of SAP trainees, and have recently completed a corporate training as a final year project.
We need to prepare documentation, report and presentation for project completion and degree.
we have all the screen shots, theory explanation about SAP and our related project, but we're not able to add them up.
Please provide us a template idea of what should be the contents of a project documentation should be, or if you could provide us info on how should the index looks like, that would be a great help.

I am looking for the answer to how to develop docking windows like that in NetBeans?
I have been going through APIs of NetBeans' source code. I find the package org.netbeans.swing.tabcontrol. And I have tried the demo program in the folder. But I still do not know how the docking is implemented?
Can someone give me some hints or advice on this? Thanks.

You know unlike Eclipse, it is developed by Swing. It is quite successful project with nice GUI, and most important, it is open source.

You should start by posting questions regarding web services on the correct forum ;)
Next go to xml.apache.org and read the documentation regarding Apache Axis.
You could also take a look at the Spring Framework's support for web services.
You could even take a look at the Sun Web Service tutorials.
The above resources have plenty of examples and sample code.

Use as follows
1) File->New->Project
2) Expand EJB->EJB Project
3) Click Next
4) Project Facets Page -> Select the Version of EJb you want to create either 3.0 or 2.1
5)Next and Click Finish
Your Project will be created
6) Switch to the Java EE Perspective and
7) Select the project created
8) Right and select New-> Enterprise bean
8)Select the ejb type you want to create.(Session Statefull/stateless, Message...)
complete this wizard.

That should execute, once triggered and caller shouldnt need to wait till its completion.

Let your web service start its own background thread (*) somehow and move your business logic from web service to this thread. Then you can return from your web service. The client won't be blocked and your application will run on your server after service callout will be finished.
I hope that's what you need. Anyway, there is only "asynchronous communication" and nothing like "asynchronous web service". At least from HTTP point of view, every call is synchronous - you have request and response.
(*) You shouldn't start your own thread since you are in JEE world. Look at documentation for your container. E.g. for weblogic there are workers you can use this way. Or you can choose the other way. I hope that for any container you can just enqueue your web service request to any JMS queue and move your business logic to an appropriate MDB. Then, your web service will be just a simple JMS producer and your web service client won't be forced to wait for business logic to finish.
Last but not least, next time choose a better forum. :-)
