How to disable an enabled firewall on the 8703e

Hello,
I am hoping you can assist me. I have an 8703e the firewall is enabled due to the Unite Program.. I have asked for assistance on that board but no answer as well as a previous thead from another person marked solved when its not. I have tried
*uninstalling the Unite Program as per directions provided by the program
* wiping the phone (which removed the IT policy but not firewall settings)
I spent countless hours and even a month just trying to find the answer to remove the IT policy. The latest I have read from other users on this issue is to install 4.5 os and do further steps then wipe and reinstall. Although there is no 4.5 for my phone.
Does anyone here have any thoughts

Hi there DavidNJ!
Security is absolutely important and I'm happy you're thinking about it! Your phone is setup to only connect to Wi-Fi hotspots you've connected to in the past while Wi-Fi is turned on.
You can disable the "Auto connect" if you would like by following these steps.
Settings > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Uncheck Auto Connect
Keep in mind, these are hotspots that you've connected to before. If you don't want them on your list any longer you can long press "press & hold" on any Wi-Fi listed on your phone and delete the connection from your saved history!

How to disable other users from changing the status

Hi,
The status entry field can be changed irrespective of ownership in Documents.
I was able to change the status on the document created by other user.
Example: The status of document was In-Work. The document owner was X. But I was able to change it to Inspection Check.
How to disable other users from changing the status?

How to disable only inactive firewall notification in the action center by GPO

Hi
I need to disable only inactive notifications firewall in the action center PCs through GPO.
I have seen several posts and it seems possible disable by GPO only all notifications in the action center and not only firewall notifications.
I have a DC with Win server 2012 R2.
Have you any ideas?

Disabled and enable clips look the same

Is there a way to change the preferences so that disabled clips show up dark in my timeline? Because right now they are showing up bright regardless of whether they are disabled or enabled?

I know that's how it's supposed to work but for some reason mine isn't. It does show up that way on my laptop though.

How to disable and enable a java bean area's visability?

I have a large javabean area on my initial canvas when first dispalying my form.
When I use the SHOW_CANVAS('canvas name') to display another canvas, everything looks fine except that the javabean from my previous canvas is still visible and covering up portions of this new canvas.
So I tried using the set_property visible for the javabean area in the form and it only got rid of the surrounding edge of the javabean area.
Last I made some set_custom_property values to send to the bean that would then use java calls to enable and disable the beans visability.
But once the beans visibility was disabled in Java then it wouldn't come back after the calls to enable the visibility and refresh the bean were made through Java calls.
Is there any other ways of disabling and enabling a java bean area's visability?

Maybe the bean is always display because of its particular paint() method ?
Anyway, without any reflexion, I could suggest you to set the bean item width and height to 1 pixel when you don't want to display it. (Set_Item_Property)

I have a system with2 BlackMagicDesign (BMD) Decklink cards in it. One HD Extreme and one HD Extreme 3D+ card.
I use it to capture multiple video streams at once and it works perfectly. I can choose to input and output card for audio, etc...
But I have software that can use a BMD Decklink card as 3th monitor or VideoOut Monitor.
That software always chooses the HD Extreme Card, and I cant choose it manually...
I need the software to use the Decklink 3D+ card (because it has a HDMI 1.4 out and works in Stereo3D)
If I remove the second card, all works perfectly, but I want to avoid to do that...
In Windows you can easily disable hardware....
But, can we do that in MacOSX 10.7??

Don't know if this will work for your specific setup or not, but SwitchResX is a unique utility for controlling video configurations (including enabling/disabling multiple monitors).

How to disable a JCheckBox and leave the text the original color?

When a JCheckBox is disabled, its text gets dim (gray). I need to just dim the checkbox but leave the text the original color.
I can't find the code where the text color changes when the box is disabled...
(I have found the code that draws the square and the box at: com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows.WindowsIconFactory .)
Any ideas?

I am not familiar with the printout method. You can preview in your web browswer if you create an HTML report and save this to file. You can then view the html in your browser to preview and later use the browser to print. Goto the following page and search for activex internet explorer to find examples on incorperating the browser into your VI.

How to Disable client side validation for the message text input

Hi,
I have scenario where i need to by pass the client side validation for a message text input
Scenario is
I have a message text input field(say XYZ), i set the max length for the item as 20
Now when im trying to enter the greek characters into it, it is allowing me to enter till 20 characters
But when i try to submit the form ..my client side validation is firing..
The Error says the XYZ is too long
The problem is, in greek each character takes two bytes.(In english it is only 1).While entering the content it allowing 20 characters and when validating it is checking for bytes(if we enter in greek the length will be 40 bytes not 20)
I cannot increase the max length .coz i have restrict the character length to 20 only.(english or Greek).
Please help me in this regard.

Thanks for the information.But we dont have any option either declaratively or programatically to disable the client side validation for the message text input..I referred java docs ..i dint find any method which does..

Try to use customize InfoPath form, add rules. Go to list tab, click customize Form, then this opens the list form in InfoPath
format.
1.Select the check box field control, click add rules, select if is blank, show validation error action.
2.Then go to conditions, click column name is blank, change it to the required column you want.
3.Go to rule type, click validation, change it to formatting, select hide this control.
4.Publish the InfoPath form.

FI Validation Exit: how to disable system standard message "Correct the..."

    I had setup a FI validation exit. In the source code of this validation, I raise an error message, if any. For example:
    LOOP AT t_messages_return.

                         t_messages_return-message_v3

   The validation is working fine, and it's not allowing user to continue document posts while error exists. The problem is that between my custom message error display and system come back to input screen, there's a popup raised by standard code:
"Correct the error reported before on the next screen".
   User doesn't want this message being displayed, since it's an Information Message (like i000). Is there any way to disable this message ? It's raised by standard code just after my custom message code...

Is the user exit used in defining validation step in Tx:GGB0?
It's not good practice to issue error message in validation user exits, because document postig transactions are used in BDC sessions by SAP standard FI programs.
Instead of raising error in user exit, set B_RESULT = B_FALSE and issue generic message in message part of validation.
Check the validation definition in GGB0, message you are gettinin might be defined in the validation, removing it might not show the message.

How to disable or enable iCloud in ML

I upgraded from SL yesterday to ML. SL never had iCloud as it had Mobile Me. Tiger never had neither and had .Mac. Apple has changed their onlin interface at least 3 times in the past 5-7 years and I do not wish to bank on iCloud only to have Apple change or discontinue the service and I lose all my data. So to keep this from happening I wish to properly disable iCloud and only sync with the Mac. However if I do this can I sync Notes and reminders or willthey only work via iCloud? I have MS Office 2011 but I do not think it will sync with the iPhone. The BlackBerry was far better at syncing with MS Office, but I no longer use that. However if I were a business man the BB is clearly the better device for that use, but for everything else iPhone wins.
I have disactivated iCloud on my Mac and iPhone and am attempting to sync via itunes, but its taking a real long time syncing the calendar. or is this all a good idea? The reason I got so frusterated with iCloud is that is dplicated 100 of my contacts on my Mac and it really ticked me off as I was unable to resolve it. Nothing got duplicated to the iphone.

Speaking about the client-side, you can use cookies to stop the submission.
This is a simplest, but not too much intelligent example:
