How to disable Blind Query in Oracle EBS Forms

I am creating a new form in EBS and one of the requirements is to disable the blind query, could you please help me developing this requirement.

Hi,
There is a bug in OAF for this one, upon clicking on About this page on the newly opened LOV page it still shows the Parent Page Details.
Workaround:
1. After the LOV window opens, click on about this page [This will still show the parent page properties]
2. Now click on backspace. [You should be back to the same LOV Page]
3. Now click on About this page, again, - This should show you the correct details.

how to run a report from oracle 10g form in .csv format? i've already run in pdf & excel format.
i'm using
SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY (ro_report_id, report_desformat, 'PDF'); --for pdf
SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY (ro_report_id, report_desformat, 'SPREADSHEET'); ---for excel
Please Help..

If possible then please tell me. It is working in Http /web based application.
and table test is possible.. in Oracle ebs form?. Is it possible to capture a data from a text field and make comparison to check it. Though i want it all to be done in Oracle Ebs forms .

I am looking for the query that can find out all custom tables/objects in Oracle EBS? For some reasons, the custom tables/objects's name does not follow any standard. That a reason why I cannot find all custom objects in database. If you have that query, please share with me.

Open a command prompt and type
sqlplus sys/syspwd@instance as sysdbaand you'll have yourself a sqlprompt.

I am currently working on Oracle EBS auditing and performance tuning project. After assessment phase, I am going to give a proposal about how to improve performance of entire systems to my senior manager.
But it is the first time I work on this kind of project. So, please share me some experience to assess, determine which node is running in high load, the bottleneck of system (web node, concurrent node, form node,...). It will be better if share me some material (guide, checklist or methodology).

How to disable GLOBAL query variants in Portal (ANALYSIS Template)

Hello Experts,
Does anybody know how to disable the saving of global query variants on the selection screen?
Currently if anybody goes in and saves the variant with Description and puts something in the Technical Name, it saves that variant as global, so that everybody can see it. If they put something in the description only and leave the technical name blank, then it saves the variant as local. Therefore, how would I go about disabling the saving of global query variants?

we are using solaris 10 on sparc t3 server.
we want to allocate some processor to oracle ebs instances for the multi instance environment
so please suggest us how should we go for it..

How to convert sql query to oracle query?

Hope doing well,
sir i am using oracle database where i am running my sql query in oracle. but this query is not working properly. i used sql developer translation scratch editor to convert that.
it's converted but i am not getting the exact value.
which i was getting in sql server.
here is my query below:
SELECT C.*,ISNULL(P.Comp_Name,'') + ' (' + ISNULL(P.Comp_ID,'') + ')' Parent FROM Comp_Master C LEFT JOIN Comp_Master P ON C.Parent_ID = P.Comp_ID Where C.Comp_ID='C02'
please convert it into oracle so that i can use this query

How to disable edit.delete in oracle forms 11i?

i was able to use APP_SPECIAL.ENABLE('EDIT.CLEAR',PROPERTY_OFF); to disable the clear button but also want to disable delete button,
i added the APP_SPECIAL.ENABLE('EDIT.DELETE',PROPERTY_OFF); in the pre_block and pre_query trigger but not able to disable the delete item from edit menu.
Am i doing sometjhng wrong?
