How to disable Blue Quote Bar (Outlook style) - no solution works

There are several solutions all over the web but nothing works. I just like to have it look like outlook. It looks much more professional and easy to read.

I wouldn't worry too much about adjusting the fonts that are embedded in outgoing mail, as most recipients can set the display fonts that are suitable for their devices. In TB, these settings are under Tools/Options/Display/Formatting/Advanced.
If you need to send communications with specific fonts, it's best to attach pdf or word processing files that are displayed exactly as you have created them.

You can try the below steps on the OWA server box,
search for this file name in explorer
File name: "messageoptionsdialog.aspx"
open this file in notepad
search for "chkbcc" you'll find something like this "input type="checkbox" id="chkBcc"
you need to update the LINE BEFORE IT to <td style="visibility:hidden">
Try this and let me now if this worked
Although I've not tried this for the OUTLOOK client, you can try this and check if you need
But this has worked for OWA for one of my client
I'm also not very sure if this can be achieved on all of your outlook users from a server admin point of view, coz this is a client feature and not a user specific active directory attribute.

After I updated FireFox to a more recent FireFox version, blue underlines appear in websites. I know that there is a way to disable that annoying 'feature'.

Any chance there being a way to easily enable/disable animations? I'd sure like to selectively rid the screen of those noisy flashy-blinky advertisements.
And how about storing java-script enable/disable flags with bookmarks? That way I would not be forced to click tools->options->content->enable-javascript each time I wanna turn it on or off? When I surf using database engines I disable j-script (phkem) and when I need to get something from nextegg I turn it on. What about being able to selectively disable/enable (also stored in bookmarks) embedded google-ads/beacons flags? I hate being tracked, now I'm getting ads on my cable TV set based on where I've been lurking on the InterNet. Big-phkn-brother's on us, and its the greedy phkn corporations who don't give sht about us except for what's in our wallets. InterNet used to be cool, now its the CIA, the FBI, KGB, policia, FartBuuk, Macro$haft, AT&T, Giggle (at least they give something of value back), and all the other facist big-brothers. Mozilla was born fighting that schema. There's so much more that FireFox could do to mitigate InterNet facism.

We may follow the steps below to disable attachment preview in Outlook 2013:
1. Download
Office 2013 Administrative Template files, and then follow the instructions in the "Loading the ADMX templates" section of the
Use Group Policy to enforce Office 2010 settings article to load the ADMX templates.
2. Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Outlook 2013 > Outlook Options > Preferences > Email Options
3. Double-click Do not allow attachment previewing in Outlook from the right pane.
4. Select Enable bullet.
5. Click OK.
6. Run gpupdate /force command to force an update of GPO settings.
7. Start Outlook and you should see the attachment previewing feature is disabled.

How to disable tiny status bar from grabbing touches

My app runs in landscape mode. I have done some tests on detecting touches, and in my view, which covers the entire screen, there is a sliver of the screen that is not returning touch events; this sliver of the screen corresponds to top say 24 pixels of the screen, where the batter life indicator and other things go. my view covers the entire screen and I want to have full screen control, but am losing these touches, probably because some higher priority listener is getting the events; how can I disable this status bar so I can get the touches?

Same problem.
After testing on the device the problem persists.
I know from testing other applications that it IS possible to use the WHOLE screen for your own application.
Just I don`t know whats going wrong here.
Will probably check back tomorrow with my view-hierarchy and more details, maybe together we can find out what the problem is.

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

How to disable Command-Space bar for Spotlight?

This isn't specific to Mavericks. I've had this issue with my previous OSs too. Is there anyway to disable the key combination of Command + Space bar that is used to open the Spotlight menu? I can't tell you how many times I've inadvertently tapped this combination while typing. If you're not looking at the screen, and you trigger this combination, you discover that you have inadvertently entered the last eight or nine words into Spotlight's search field instead of into your document, Mail, etc. Then, in order to get back to your document and leave Spotlight, you must click on it (the document, etc.) and retype those words again. I'd love to find a fix for this! Any help would be very much appreciated!

How to disable the menu bar from hiding and fix screen?

I've looked thoughly to find the answer online, system preferences and here with no luck. I recently updated my software to Mac OS X 10.7.4. Now the menu bar is automatically hiding, but reapearing when I mouse over and the screen in all windows are too wide and long. When I click the 'green' icon for resizing the window, it sizes it too wide and long. I am not in full screen and do not have enlarge on (COMMAND +) and i've check the display settings. Maybe Mac added this as a feature with the update thinking people will like it but I don't like it at all, my typing in an email is not visable on the right. Can someone please tell me how to turn this feature off? Also the resolution/clarity of my screen is not as good since the update. It is not much of a difference but enough to make my eyes hurt a bit.

Yes it is Aluminium. Yes I checked that it is set to 1280 by 800 and changed the resolution and changed it back many times to see if that would help. Is this not a new feature with the new OS X update? Thanks

How to disable the suggestion bar forever??

every time i log in i have to go to tool>privacy> and hit the location bar and tell them to suggest nothing.
then when i log off Mozilla and back onto Mozilla, i have to repeat the process.
so how do i make it where every time i use Mozilla to not suggest anything??

How to disable the URL bar from receiving focus after a page click

When I click on any link within a webpage, the new webpage will load up. I start hitting the UP and DOWN arrows to start scrolling through the page. But Firefox has stolen the focus from the webpage and given it to the URL bar. So I start to see URL history popup in a drop down list from above.
This is very annoying.

How to disable switch control when your Siri doesn't work.

There's alot of people who managed to turn their switch control off by Siri or by triple click. How ever I disabled my Siri and was stuck at lock screen with no screen feedback. Went thru alot of online remedys and all didn't work. I'm sure there are a few who had this problem. So what I did was -
i hold home and power button to off my i pad. Then turn it on again. (When it just loaded to main screen you will have a few sec before switch control works again. )So when you are in main screen , triple click to get the accessibility box and off switch control. By tapping on the option. It worked for me. Hope it works for you. The Internet don't have much to help ref switch control which is irritating. Hope this post helps.

Your options are limited
You know one way - the registry entry.
The option:
Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone> Custom Level> Scripting section> Allow Programmatic clipboard access> Enable.
Has been changed by later versions of Internet explorer tightening security.
I guess you could try:

Bit difficult for me to test at the moment, but that could work.
If that's no good.
The alternative is to give the app elevated trust.
This is a PITA because you have to obtain a security cert and sign the xap with it.
They expire as well and you then need to buy a new one.
Costs several hundred quid a year ( this is one time cost rather than per user ).

Go to Settings-->Audio profiles-->Press/Tap on the mechanic wheel symbol(symbol on the right of each profile) of the ''General'' profile-->Unmark ''Vibrate on touch'' (same goes for the ''Outdoor'' audio profile).

How to disable app bar in my project

I am developing a WP8 app with sliding menu/drawer in it.
Whenever i tried to disable the app bar it throws an exception on line "ApplicationBar.IsVisible = true;" code behind
