How to disable Drilldown even though we grouped on a column.
Hi,
Can you please give me an idea on the following?
"If we made group on any field obviously it enables us to drilldown.
But I dont need drilldown feature where as I must have grouping on the field.
Can we make it possible..?"

First of all I would like to thank full to you for your reply.
But what exactly my requirement is....
The Drilldown feature should be disable in the sense the Crystal even should not allow us to double click on that particular Group Header field.(Generally when we have double click on the Group Header a separate window will be opened for that particular field).
i.e,Crystal should not allow the magnifier symbol which we usually get when we have grouping in the Report.

BalaThe RPD hierarchies themselves have no security attributes on them. So your left with a workaround or two. First one that springs to mind :
Create the report in question save this as 'Manager' report.
Create the report in question, disable drilling on the column in question, save this as 'Reporter' report.
Deploy both reports to the dashboard in seperate sections and use the section permissions (against the Webgroups those users exist in) to determine which section is displayed to which user.
Maybe more options will come up from other users, but this one is a start.

The issue is that when I right click on the column header, the column is selected and the context menu with options like Sort, Columns, Resize Columns, etc.. is popping. we want to disable column re-size option.
We are binding the table values programatically (not using Bc4J) and the Jdeveloper version is 11.1.2.2

This will make the particular column frozen and only work for that particular column.
My use case is that to remove the resize columns option from the context menu or to disable the right click option.
Making column selection as none will disable the right click option but we need column selection for sorting.
Is there any other way to achieve this?

Attempting to install the "missing plug-in" using the Firefox prompts results in Java 7 Update 10 being installed, re-installing it is successful and does not resolve the issue, Firefox 18 refuses to allow/display java content even with the proper updated version of Java installed.
This problem ONLY occurred immediately following this mornings update to Firefox 18.0.Context:

Java will not work, not at all even with Java 7 Update 10 installed, not even the "verify java version" applet at http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp will display.
When attempting to view/display any java content the "missing plug-in" error bar at the top of the page displays and attempting to install the required plug-in via that method does not resolve the issue even though the correct version of Java is installed and the plug-in checker verified it was "up-to-date". -

We are running Zenworks 7.x on Novell netware 6.5 sp8. I have my User package existing within the Context where the user accounts exist. Also the User Package is associated to that user Context. I have a need to deny a specific group of users access to the DLU Policy of the User Package. However I will need the users to have access to all other Policy packages withing the same User Package (ie, iprint policy, remote control policy, etc).

Take a copy of your existing User package, disable DLU in this new package and assign it to these specific users that you don't want DLU to apply.

Apple is suppose to be the pinnacle of usability and, yet, I want to throw my new IPhone 4s as far as I can and watch is smash into a million pieces on concrete. Seriously, I've already got three things that irritate the **** out of me. First, there are Apple apps that insist on playing sound even though the sound is turned off. If I flick a switch to turn the sound off, I want the sound off!!!! Second, if I do not want a totally unnecessary feature like Game Center, I should be able to disable it. I completed most of the Angry Bird levels with 2 or 3 stars and now I have to start over from square one. Maybe, this happened when I upgraded to the 4s but it sure seemed to happen when I joined Game Center. Tomorrow, I am going to reset my 4s to factory defaults to try to get rid of my Game Center account. I don't want Game Center! I do need Game Center! I hate Game Center! Finally, I had an alarm go off to wake me up and there was a Snooze button but no button to turn the alarm off. I flicked the slider to access the main screen expecting to see something to turn the alarm off but there was nothing. The alarm just kept alarming. I had to warm boot my IPhone to shut the alarm off! Really, Apple!!!!
The sound is turned off. Only, some Apple apps like YouTube and Siri make sound when the sound is turned off. It is very embarrassing when this happens at work. My question was how do I tell Apple to fix this?
Turning off game center does not work. The games just prompt me to sign in when they are started.I have tried everything I can find online to stop this behavior. It is annoying and should not happen. My question was how do I tell Apple to fix this?
The alarm went off. There was a green thing that looked like a button but pressing it did nothing. There was a red button that said snooze. I did not want to snooze. I wanted to turn the alarm off. I slid the bar to unlock the phone and there were no running apps with a button to press. The alarm just keep running. I have not had this problem since it first occurred. The alarm now shuts off when I just unlock the phone. It may have happened because I had another alarm app running. The two may have interfered with each other. I would like to tell Apple about it.
It also annoys me that the button that closes apps leaves the phone app running. If I press on a number at 6:00 AM to get information about who called me, the phone automatically dials the person back and my natural reaction is to press on the button to close the phone app but the phone keeps dialing this person at 6:00 AM. It is a bad design. I would like to tell Apple about it.
Finally, I looked all over Apple's site to try to find someplace I could send them a polite message to let them know that I was not happy with these "features" but could not find anything. It is extremely frustrating to have issues with a product and not being able to tell the manufacturer about it. So, you grow up!.

Internal mic wont shut off even though its disabled. How do I fix this?
Im trying to run samplitude music studio mx software and use the line in and mic in ports to record. The external mic that's built into my laptop wont shut off, and records background noise on my tracks. I have an HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx with an i7-2670QM processor running windows 7 home premium. How do I disable it from somewhere else besides the control panel, because it suggests the mic is disabled already? will I need a different laptop to run the software?

Did you solve this problem because I have EXACTLY the same one. I am running Samplitude Music Studio 2013 on Windows 7 Home Premium on a Pavillion D6. I have high quality external mike input ruined becaus the on-board condenser mike will not disable, even though I disabled the "Integrated microphone array" as recommended. Is it because some software or other device driver keeps it active? Samplitude has no disable function for input devices and it makes no difference if you run WDM, MME or ASIO device drivers.
I did have to replace the computer screen once. Possible glitch? I hear DELL stopped ptting built-in mikes into their laptops!
Any advice/help deeply appreciated! -
Account Lockout repeatedly, even though lockout policy is disabled
I have a remote user who's domain account keeps getting locked out, and I'm completely stumped. Due to the lockout issues, we have disabled the domain lockout policy, and use the soft lockout function available in forefront TMG. This is working for everyone
but the 1 user.
On the DC that is locking the account, I see the event ID 4740 in the security logs. What makes ZERO sense is the Caller Compuer shows has her workstation. Her workstation is a surface pro, which is not on a VPN. So it has no connection to the domain controller.
When users that are connecting through TMG were getting locked out, the Caller Computer showed as the TMG machine.
I have gone through and cleared any saved credentials from the Credential manager on the workstation, yet the account is still getting locked out.
So why is this account getting locked out even though the lockout policy is disabled. And how is it showing the users workstation as the caller computer, when it has no direct connection to any domain controllers?Try looking at the local policy on the Surface Pro machine. It sounds like the policy is being applied from the local machine itself.

This could be the issue, as the machine is remote and hasn't updated the GPO with a DC since before it was disabled. I thought the DC is what disabled the account, and stopped authenticating the user. So even if the GPO existed on the client machine, it
still wouldn't be disabled.
But how is it even getting to the DC that the account is disabled? The DCs have no access to the internet, and the client has no VPN to the DC.
Local policy can have lockout set which could have come from the domain policy.

How do I open a doc in adobe instead of preview? Three Imac people in a group all having the same problem. I was told to download the latest Adobe, which I did. I still cant view the document even though I downloaded it to read it. It keeps opening in Preview and shows up blank. Help!
Right click on the document and select Open with-Adobe Acrobat. Or right click on the document and select get info, go to the open with drop down menu and select Acrobat. If you want all documents of that type to open with Acrobat check the box.

ThanksHere is a modified version of one of Doug's Scripts. My modification was to add Sort Name to the list of tags that could be changed. I tried it on a single track and it worked. I recommend backing up your library first. Select the tracks you want to change (or all tracks) and run the script from the Applescript Editor. If it works as intended, save it so you can apply it to newly imported tracks. And, yes, I know this isn't the exact answer to your question, you want to change a preference setting in iTunes (if there is such a setting).

Clamav running even though virus filtering is disabled

I am running an OS X Server 10.4.8 machine. I have virus filtering turned off, and with good reason - when it is on, there is a big performance hit. However, this afternoon clamav randomly clicked on, even though virus filtering is still disabled. I wasn't even working on the server - I only noticed because my monitoring software alerted me to the increased CPU usage. Any ideas as to what could have caused this behavior, and what I can do to reverse it?OK. This is due to how Apple's default configuration is set up.
amavisd is the content filter and as such responsible for passing mail to spamassassin and/or clamav. On a standard installation, if you turn of virus scanning it will basically only turn of virus database updates, but amavisd will still call clamscan (without reporting anything back or taking any action).
You have several options.
1. Turn off content filtering altogether. Not a good idea as you would be buried in spam.
2. Edit /etc/amavisd.conf and comment out (put a "#" in front of the lines)

3. Re-Enable virus scanning and find out why it so heavy on your resources. A properly configured system shouldn't have any major issues (unless you have 100'000 mails a day on underpowered hardware). Make sure you have postfix reject as much rogue mail as possible, before it even hits the content filter.

Yes, a re-installation would most probably solve the problem but I'm to curious to do that. I want to know why some settings are unavailable even though I run Firefox as an Administrator. :-)
I have attached a screen dump of the About-window (Firefox->Help->About Firefox). The button for updating Firefox is replaced by the text "Uppdateringar är inaktiverade av systemadministratören" which translate to "Updates are inactivated by the system administrator".
