How to disable dynamic help

Tried hiding the window and resetting the prefs, getting annoyed by the gray text that pops up and I'd rather do a help search on a keystroke. Any tips on disabling the dynamic help?

I'm not sure which gray text you're talking about. There's 2 types of "popup" help in Flash Builder (1) ASDoc tooltips and (2) Adobe Help. Neither of them have gray text. I'll assume you're talking about the ASDoc tooltips.
1) Preferences > Editors > ActionScript Code
2) Uncheck "show in text hovers"
To bring up ASDoc tooltips on demand, press F2. Alternatively, you can use the ASDoc view (Window > Show View > Other...).

jpscwf: Personaly I always keep my fans on maximum anyway so I havn't tried saving settings at a lower level, better to have too much cooling anyway, rather than have your chip burn up..
netreaper: I may be wrong, but if your not running the corecell program then I don't think the fan speeds are adjusted. In any case, follow the instructions I gave above, and set both the fan speeds to maximum, that way you allways get the maximum cooling possible. Problem solved.

How to Disable iTunes helper

I don't need my iPod to auto-start iTunes when I plug it in at work. I'm trying to streamline my system a bit and want to disable the iTunes helper process. I removed it from my Login items via the Accounts control panel but it keeps re-appearing. Any thoughts?

Do I need a reason to want to get rid of unnecessary process? As I mentioned, I'm streamlining. It is just another think running that is sapping some (though very little) processing power from my system. And I've read of other people's experiences where it has caused problems with system stability. Granted, they are a small minority, but if it is something I don't need, and could maybe be a future issue, then why not remove it. I looked around my system and spotlight doesn't turn up the application file, just its plist.
I use iTunes so no, that won't fix me up. Thanks for your feedback though.

How to disable search help for material key?

I have a input field of matarial number in the screen, and the search help is always shown with the field although I do not want it.
I want the customer to enter the material number manually without using the search help.

I don't think the URL is controlling the language.
Your ID (Marketplace I suppose you are referring to) is also of no importance on "help.sap.com" (public website).
So I think one of the places to maintain the language used, is de default language in your browser.
Maybe it can also be the user language of the J2EE engine, and of course the logon language used when logging on (to some of) the J2EE components (if a language is asked for).
But personal i would prefer using an "internal" link to a file-server / network-drive then an external internet link....

Disabling dynamic reloading

Hi, i'm using iWS 6.0 SP2 on solaris 8 and i don't know how to disable dynamic reloading of classes. I have tried to set the reload-interval parameter to a negative number, to set the class-loader classpath parameter to "", but it still reloads the classes.
The only thing i can think of is setting the reload-interval to a huge number, but there must be another way.

It's always Microsoft who gets blaimed ;-)
          First, I am almost certain that any OS will not let you copy a file if there
          is an opened file descriptor of the file owned by some other process.
          Second, luckily the class loader code that handles this is pure Java, so it
          takes advantage of garbage collection here: if there is a live reference to
          an object, it's not going to be freed under you.

Does anyone here know how to disable the Adobe Updater by registry or Group Policy?(if possible)
I won't like to manually disable them by "Help" -> "Check for updates"
The following registry key only works in 6.*/7.*

I don't know where that preference item is stored. But if it's in the registry, I would do the following if I were in your situation.
*export the entire registry
*set the no-update preference, according to Aaron's suggestion
*export the entire registry again (to a different name)
*compare the two files (e.g. with windiff); that should show you what's changed in the registry

I can understand your concern & you need to worry about this, as your PC folders won't be available on other PC's as this option is just to browse through the files of the specific system on which you are working as shown in the screenshot below.
Only the files uploaded on the Document cloud will be available over Internet using Adobe Document Cloud service upon the authentication of your Adobe ID & password.

How do i disable F4 Help for a standard view which was copied into a 'Z'

Hello Friends,
I had developed a database view which is working fine now...
But my users requirement is that for one of the field i.e BANFN(Purchase requisition field) for this field
he wants the F4 help to be disabled.
I tried out to search the solution in many ways but i am not getting it.
Kindly help me out on how to disable the F4 Help.
It would be of great help if someone could help me out.

- Create a data element by copy of BANFN, lets say ZBANFN, remove its search help (MBAN) and activate data element
- In the database view, in the View flds tab, check the "mod" flag of field BANFN, and replace the data element BANFN with ZBANFN, activate database view
The F4 help should have disappeared. (test via SE16)
