How to disable "Have I visited this website prior to today?"

Why is FF keeping track of how many times I visit a site in Tools > Page Info > Security > Privacy & History > "Have I visited this website prior to today?", and how do I disable it?

The feature of tracking the number of visits to each URL in your history may have been added in Firefox 3; it is stored in the places.sqlite database along with the page's URL. It appears to be used as one factor in setting the order of matches on the "AwesomeBar." I don't know if it has any other use.
As for disabling the counting, I don't see any obvious way to do that.
If you want to clear your visit count, you could erase all of your history, but I assume you don't want to do that. Perhaps there is an add-on that will allow you to reset the count to 1 for sites you have visited more than once? (I think I could write a SQL query to do it in the SQLite Manager extension, but I can't experiment with it at the moment.)

nope... unless you're in 7.0
the statistics before 7.0 only check queries... workaround would be to have a report on BW statistics filtering on the queries that are in your workbooks... that might give you an "idea", but if there people who run those queries outside of the workbook, it will "affect" your "statistics"

Statistics are usually not available on workbooks. You can find out how many time a user calls up a particular query (which can be accessed by various workbooks). Because workbooks themseleves do not call up data from the infoproviders.
You can tell how many times a user has accessed a query by looking at the Statistical queries and objects. Try the following two there is a list of other queries in help that you can go through also:

How can i undo "never for this website" on iTouch

Success! I finally got the save password prompt to return for the website I wanted by ALSO clearing HIstory, Cookies and Cache (from Settings>Safari>Clear...History, Cookies, Cache. This was after clearing the auto-fill as recommended by lllaass above.                     When I open a flash component in IE, first of all I need to click on the flash component to activate it. Why it's happening like that? When the mouse is over the flash component, it will show a tool tip "Click to activate this control" and dotted lines around the flash component. Can I know a solution for this.           This issue is avoided in IE6 using the javascript tha i have attached. Like this, is there any javascript available to avoid this in IE6. Actually we are embedding the swf with object tag. At that time there is no problem. There is no issues with ActiveX control. The problem comes when we use the widget.

Hi, you don't have to put a link on your page. Safari has this function for you. Got to File--> Mail Link To this Page (shortcut is Shift COmmand I) and it will e-mail the link.

10.5.2 update seems to have removed all TM backups prior to today?

After updating to 10.5.2, I see that my Time Machine drive - which prior to the update had backups dating back to whenever I installed Leopard (November I think) - now only contains backups it made today. Anyone else seen this?

Yes, 'Warn when old backups are deleted' had always been checked.

There's more, but that seems the critical stuff. It looks like Time Machine thinks the UUID for my system drive had changed. After the first Backup ran, all backups (since Nov) prior to 2-11-08 were gone, and about 15Gb of space was recovered from the drive.
I have many, many other backup solutions in place, so this isn't mission critical for me. However, if TM can't maintain archived backups, I can't safely consider it for that.

my Website is hosted on Sun OS 5.06 (OAS 4.0.8) and using web server : Oracle_Web_Listener/4.0.8. Website is configured to use https for secure pages and it was working fine from last 10 years but suddenly i am getting complaints from my customers that they can not browse site on chrome version 40 and above and firefox 34 and above.
I searched for this issue and found that there is POODLE attack which may causing this issue. now the only solution i can see is to disable SSL v3 on server.
Can any help me out with the process or an idea, How to disable SSL V3 on this Olde server? its sun microsystem server.

   This is old software, been a while since I saw one of these.
    Normally when SSL was setup there were two listeners, one with SSL and one without, in a different port, so you could try to find this second port, which may work without any need to change the configuration.
    Else, try to check on the OAS manager (Usually on port 8888), the HTTP listener -> WWW -> Network, if there is a setup only for the SSL port, you will need to add a new line, with the same configuration, but a different port and the security disabled.
    Also, there may be some setting on the application itself for the url path. If so, when you navigate in the application it will try to redirect you back to the SSL port. In that case you will need to figure out where to change that, which depend on the application itself.
   Found this page on google with the process to setup SSL on OAS 4.0, you need to do the inverse of step 5.
