How to disable Login Screen in SRM
Hi All,
Client has enabled SSO in their system and SRM is part of it. Hence they are not directed to SRM login page.
But for certain cases and unknown reasons, the login page appears. So they want to diable the login screen page and display error text instead.
I tried to modify the template BBPGLOBAL - Login, but is not successful. Even if I comment out the whole code in the template, the screen is displayed.
Is this something to do with ITS ?
Hi ,
Go through the OSS Note : 778488

How to disable iMac screen and not to put it into sleep?!!!
I would like to play a movie on my iMac but to watch it on my LCD TV. How to disable iMac screen and not to put it into sleep. PLS have in mind that ctrl+shift+ eject does not work, it makes my iMac screen go black as well as the tv screen. So far, i have red many articles concerning this subject, but no one seems to have the right answer. I simply can´t believe that apple did not think of it, as it is nothing new ....
ThanksMy brother has eight cats, so your not along. Fortunetly his go outside.
I have been talking to the people over at macforums and they had some good thoughts. One guy suggested going analog and soldering in a rocker switch on the cable connecting a hub to the computer, turn off switch turns off keyboard and mouse.
I was prepared to try that but a great idea came along. Arch, you might be interested in this too. Buy a cheap (found one locally for $20) usb kvm switch that takes one usb keyboard and mouse and connects it to two pcs/macs and only connect one of the outs to my system. There is a button to switch between the two, so when I want to disable the keyboard and mouse, I just switch it to pc2, which is not connected to anything.
Cheap and easy solution. I wish I could of figured out how to do this with software, since there would be no money if it was freeware, but I guess you cant win them all.
Thanks everyone for chiming in! -

How to enable login screen which doesn't require a password
I'm setting up an image for a computer lab. The computers that are currently in this lab auto login. However, in the off case that a student accidentally (or maybe purposefully) locks the computer, we want them to be able to simply click the user account
picture and it logs in without asking for a password. The current Windows 7 PCs in this lab work that way, but whoever set them up can't remember how this was accomplished and I can't figure out for the life of me how to get it done. Currently, if I lock the
PC, it just brings me to the login screen with a blank username & blank password field.
These machines are not on the domain. Does anyone have any idea how to get this behavior out of the login screen?BYPASS LOGIN
Open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type netplwiz and press Enter. Remove the tick from “Users must enter a user name and password” > OK. You may have to type the user account name/password just the once to complete the process.
BYPASS ENTERING A PASSWORD AFTER WAKEUP
To bypass entering a password after hibernation, go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Power Options > Require a password on wakeup (in the left pane) and put a check mark in Don’t require a password.
Ninety-nine per cent of politicians give the rest a bad name. -
How to disable full screen "fade" transition?
Hello,
Just got my new MBP and upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion in the process. Computer seems to work great, but Aperture now has this odd "slideshow" like fade when I toggle to my images in full screen. It's slow and distracting, more gimmicky than anything else. Does anyone know how to disable this?
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere...couldn't find a thread by searching.
Many thanks,
DavidThanks, Leonie. It's nice to know I'm not a lone voice crying out in the wilderness! I find it hard to believe that other photographers who use Aperture for professional work aren't bothered by this feature.
My problem is that yes, a direct "cut" from one image to the other--like it used to be!--is the only practical way to compare photos...
I have tried to find ways to "turn off animations" in the Mac OS, but it seems that none of the old methods that worked with Lion worked with Mountain Lion.
I will take your advice and write feedback to Apple.
Best,
David -
I would like to just open my laptop and start using it without having to loging everytime I open it if it's still running.
I have it started up, but I'll close it during the day, not turn it off just close the machine. But everytime I open it, it prompts me to log in. I get that I should log in the first time I start it up, but if it's just sleeping and I need to wake it up, I don't like to log in again.
So yeah, how does one eliminate the login screen?
Thank you.Thank you guys. I actually did both and both helped. macjack's answer allowed the stuff to still run in the background, but I still had to log in, whereas CT's eliminated the login screen altogether.
Thank you for the help. -

How to disable Help link in SRM
Does anyone know how to disable the Help link in SRM?
We are displaying SRM transactions through the SAP Portal, and have decided to use the Portal's help links for context-sensitive help. Therefore, the Help link in SRM is redundant.Hi,
You can either remove the HELP link completely by modifying the template as suggested by Andy OR you can modify the template in the service BBPHELP in SE80.
Go to BBPHELP service ,template BBPHELP_1000.

How to disable nag screens about updating to Firefox 24
I would like to know how to disable the endless nag screens inviting me to update to Firefox 24.
I do not want Firefox 24 because I tried it for two weeks and it was repeatedly crashing - several times in each day - or simply freezing. I cannot work this way and so I have downgraded to a previous version of Firefox and I have not had a single problem in a whole month.
Please be aware that I do not allow Norton products on my computer so that is not an issue.
I keep a very clean computer - scanning EVERY night before shutdown with CCleaner and JetClean with Avast running permanently in the background. I also scan weekly with Superantispyware.Note that using any version older than 24 has security risks, I would update and then try to post crash reports using the instructions below.
First update Firefox
* Update Firefox to the latest version
Then once as Firefox crashes 5 times and you have submitted the crashes to mozilla, using the Mozilla Crash Reporter. Place crash ID's to this site to find how the problem can be fixed.
#Enter about:crashes in the address bar (that's where you enter your website URL) and press Enter. You should now see a list of submitted crash reports.<br><br>
#Copy the 5 most recent crash ID's that you see in the crash report window and paste them into your response here.
More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Firefox crashes article. -
How to disable print screen by group policy?
I tried with below steps however its not working. Please assist me on this?.
Step one: Create a Reg_binary entry using the info below:
(reg file: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
“Scancode Map”=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,00,00,2a,e0,00,00,37,e0,\
00,00,54,00,00,00,00,00)
Step two: Link all OU sites to this new GPO policy
Do one of the following:
1. To link to a domain or an organizational unit, open Active Directory Users and Computers.
2. In the console tree, right-click the site, domain, or organizational unit to which you want the Group Policy object to be linked.
3. Click Properties, and then click the Group
Policy tab.
4. To add the Group Policy object to the Group Policy Object Links list, click Add. This opens the Add
a Group Policy Object Link dialog box.
5. Click the All tab, click the Group Policy object that you want, and then click OK.
6. In the properties dialog box for the site, domain, or organizational unit, click OK.Hi Dinesh,
To disable print screen, we can create a .reg file containing:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
"Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,00,00,2a,e0,00,00,37,e0,\
00,00,54,00,00,00,00,00
Then, we can apply the registry setting through a startup script via group policy, or if our domain controllers is Windows Server 2008 or above, we can utilize Group Policy
Preferences Registry extension to deploy the registry setting.
Regarding this point, the following thread can be referred to for more information.

How suppress the 'login screen'
Am looking to find some code to suppress the login screen?
Could use some code suggestions?
Thanks...Just create the page that you want to be your main page. View the page and then copy the URL like:
http://servername.com/servlet/page?_pageid=54&_dad=portal30&_schema=PORTAL30
Then open the httpd.conf file and do a find for Redirect.
Put the following:
Redirect /demo http://servername.com/servlet/page?_pageid=54&_dad=portal30&_schema=PORTAL30
Save httpd.conf and then restart the HTTPServer.
The page is now accessible with the following URL:
http://servername.com/demo
I would set the redirect using this type of format.
/demo http://severname.com/pls/portal30/url/page/main_page
As I have found the pages do not display portlets correctly, when the format you indicated is used. -
How to disable the "Back To SRM Application" link.in SRM7.0 Catalog Screen

We have strange issue, about ""Back To SRM Application" button when you open MDM Catalog thru Shop (SRM 7.0).
This Hyperlink i never seen in any other Environments like Dev, IT1, IT2, UAT,Training, Only in Production it is appearing in German Language, which i converted into English for better appearance to Users rather than German.
Since it is not appearing in any of our landscape, we don't need to keep the same in Prod System.
