Whenever I open itunes a window pops up "iTines setup assistant" trying to connect to the itunes store. I don't want this. As a matter of fact I don't want anything to do with the itunes store until I choose to do so. Therefore how do I disable this pop up and anything else related to the store?

Did you try going into the preferences and turning of iTunes store stuff? Not sure what has changed in version 7, but in version 6, under general prefs, there is a box to show or not show the little arrow links next to your tracks that send you to the store. And then under parental prefs, there is a button to disable to apple store.

I suppose that you have Windows Vista installed. If thats right then go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Recording -> choose either "FrontlineIn" or "Frontmic" (which is available in this moment) and dont forget to connect your headset before.

How to Disable Genius in iTunes (with iTunes Match ON)

So i just got iTunes Match, but noticed Genius turned itself back on (i've always had it disabled, it's so annoying). I also notice that now iTunes takes forever to load (i have a SSD, and it used to instantly pop up). If i delete the "iTunes Library Genius.itdb" file (which is over 50 megs large) iTunes pops right up instantly like it did before, but then as soon as it does it takes about 30 seconds or so to "gathering information about your iTunes library".
So how do i disable Genius like it used to be? I want to keep iTunes Match on, i just don't want Genius or any of it's useless mixes or playlists or sluggishly large crap files.
For reference, I'm running the latest version of iTunes (10.6.3.25)

I feel that the Generation of Field is not properly done, while creating the table. you can create the new table with the same fields and click on the icon FIELD GENERATION at the left corner of the screen with red and white circle. you can confirm by clicking on the field attribute icon.

How to Disable Auto BT Connect with iPhone (iPod) to Ford Sync

One of the great combined features of my iPhone 3GS and my Ford's Sync system is that if I have Bluetooth enabled, I can step into my car, the iPhone and Sync connect, and it automatically starts streaming music over Bluetooth from the iPhone's iPod app via Sync to the vehicle's audio system. Uses a LOT of power, and if I don't select a playlist, it will just start playing anything and everything in my library in no particular order. Generally speaking, it is very cool and works flawlessly.
The problem is, on those days when I do NOT want to play music from the iPhone, or drain the iPhone's battery too quickly when I'm out on the road, it doesn't matter. It still tries to connect, I have to manually go into the iPod functionality of the iPhone, and pause the playback, evidently there's no way to just the iPod app/functionality off temporarily. Then I forget, leave the car, come back, and have to do the same thing. Sometimes, I completely forget about this, but the iPhone doesn't. Even if Sync is turned off, the iPhone will continue playing, streaming to nothing, and unnecessarily running the battery down.
I need to keep Bluetooth on so that I can make handsfree calls when traveling. Sync doesn’t seem to have a feature or function that would allow me to connect when I want to, versus this standard "automatic" connection. I’ve tried switching Sync sources, etc. , doesn’t matter, when the iPhone senses a Bluetooth connection, it just wants to play music via the iPod app. And there doesn’t seem to be any setting for iPod or Bluetooth on the iPhone that will fix this situation as well.
Anyone have any ideas here? Very much appreciated in advance, thanks.

How to disable SSL Renegotiation

Hi All,
A security audit discovered one of our application's SSL termination, resides our ACE, supports SSL Renegotiation, which is, in their opinion, a security risk. As far I know, it is not supported to turn off this feature on ACE. Anyway, I want to be sure, before I reports this to the auditors. If you know, how to disable it, please share with me!

Our running version is A5(2.0). It should have rehandshake disabled by default.
Here are the outputs from some commands:

As you can see there is no configuration command to activate rehandshake.
So my question is if the rehandshake command only affects the ACE´s ability to do a rehandshake from its own side, but always lets the client do it if it wants to.
It isn't easy to find details about this. And the only place where I have found i little bit of details says "Enables rehandshake, allowing the ACE to send an SSL HelloRequest message to its peer to restart SSL handshake negotiation", so it might just be in that direction.
A followup question would be if it is possible to prevent the client from doing a rehandshake by a command in the ACE.
If this behaviour is not the intention this has to be a bug and I would go to the TAC with it.
I just want to know how the ACE is intended to work before I do that.

I've had this problem ever since I was at my friend's house- she has Apple TV- and my iPad connected automatically. So, I have no idea why any of the practical solutions that people think of are not options BUT, in terms of just getting it done, I did figure out a way. The key for me was getting near another Apple TV. I was out of town so I took my iPad to another friend's house who also has TV. Once I was logged onto their wireless network (the same network that their Apple TV is on-- that's how it connected in the first place), then the Airplay icon and options showed up from the bottom-draw menu and I was able to make sure that mirroring was turned off from the Apple TV section and to make sure the selection was on iPad instead. Problem solved. Now whether or not this will stay the same (rather than me having to make sure it stays at this setting everytime I link up to a network that has an Apple TV on it) I don't know. So my advice is find someone with Apple TV and connect to their network with your iPad and then change it.

I can understand your concern & you need to worry about this, as your PC folders won't be available on other PC's as this option is just to browse through the files of the specific system on which you are working as shown in the screenshot below.
Only the files uploaded on the Document cloud will be available over Internet using Adobe Document Cloud service upon the authentication of your Adobe ID & password.
