How To Disable Quick Find

I have Firefox 22 installed on a Windows 8 laptop. Most of the time when I type something the 'Quick Find' bar pops up. Is there any way to disable it? I have no extensions installed except for WOT and McAfee.

ATT won't unless they are asked to do so by the police and unless a major crime is involved, the police won't request this just for a stolen phone.
If the iPhone is running iOS 6, sounds like you didn't have the passcode lock feature enabled. Nothing prevents someone from powering the iPhone off and the same for removing the SIM card.

How do I quickly find a particular mailbox?

I have a couple hundred mailboxes imported into Mail from Eudora. Mail comes into Inbox, and I want to view it there and then manually transfer it to its appropriate mailbox.
In Eudora I could display all active mailboxes in a window, do a quick search, and find the mailbox. Alternatively, I could selectively display frequently used mailboxes (current projects) in a column at the edge of the screen and then just drag from the inbox to the appropriate mailbox label.
So easy!
How do I quickly find a mailbox in Mail? If I do a search on a mailbox name I get lots of messages across ALL mailboxes, some of which may be in the mailbox I'm looking for. I can then click on that message, right-click on the title bar on the window to display the mailbox in a new window, and then drag from the Inbox window to the mailbox window.
A simpler way, I've found, is to use the Help window in the menubar. Typing in a mailbox name there displays the Move to [mailbox name]command which is then immediately executed. Great if I remember the name of the mailbox and great if I want to move a message to the mailbox and not jumst open the mailbox itself (which is often what I want to do).
So, is there a quick way of just finding a mailbox without scrolling through the entire list either from the dropdown menu or in the sidebar?

On a Mac, the Command-L key combination takes you to the currently playing track, so on Windows I assume it is CTRL-L. Try it and let us know.

Can't disable quick find, none of the regular fixes are working.

I've been running Firefox 23 with no problems for a while, and just discovered that I get a quick find prompt every time I type an apostrophe into text boxes. The "search for text" option in my tool panel is unchecked, and I have repeatedly tried opening dialogue boxes to reset quick find, but I still get prompted every time I hit a slash or an apostrophe. This is incredibly inconvenient, and I've been searching for a way to fix this for the last hour and nothing has worked.

How do I disable "quick find"? I've opened "tools"; unchecked all 3 boxes under "accessibility" in the Advanced tab, yet the "quick find" still comes up whenever I type the "/" key or the "z" key. Any ideas?

This only seems to happen with Firefox not with IE, so it must be peculiar to Firefox.

How Do I Quickly Find Music Files Not Used By iTunes So I Can Delete Them?

Hello, I have deleted many songs from my Windows iTunes library; but, the music files remain on my hard drive and are taking up space. I need to quickly and efficiently find these music files to delete them. I would prefer to not have to download another utility to accomplish this.
While I now have iTunes setup so that any future deletions will prompt me to move the music file to the recycle bin, I want to clean-up my hard drive.

How did you Migrate? On original Startup, or after starting up and creating a user.
If the latter, then you migrated data is in the migrated user's account.
If that is the case, log into the other account and move the music into the /Users/Shared folder. Then, log into the account you want to use and import the music into iTunes.
If that is not the case, please explain where your music is located.

Hi, i can only find the quick selection tool. What i really need is the selection tool that only selects what you want it to and not everything around it.

You may be mixing and/or confusing terms here. The "circular selection tool" (Elliptical Marquee Tool) and the "quick selection tool" are two different things.
To avoid long explanations of how those work, I'll go right to what I suspect your problem is:
Based on your description, you're using the elliptical marquee tool, and not getting a hard-edged selection. The most common cause of that is you've got a feather value "stuck" in the marguee selection tools' settings. Put it back to 0.
It has nothing to do with "quick selection."

Is there any way I can find out which contacts use iMessage? My iPhone is clearly able to figure it out when I'm typing a message. So there should be a server or something where it can see that the phone number uses iMessage. But can't my phone figure that out for all contacts at once?

This is the only way on an iOS device:
Launch the Messages app in iOS.
Tap the Compose button in the upper right corner to start a new message.
Type the contacts name, or just put the first letter of their name and have a list populate.
iMessage users will show a blue iMessage icon alongside their name.
