How to disable Quick Time in registry key?

My organization with windows 7, server 2003 and server 2008 and have install Apple Quick Time Player 7.74.80.86 for over 100,000 machines. Can you advice any registry key to disable auto update so that I can use PowerShell Script push to all the machines?

But when I swipe down RIGHT when I get a text message, the notification tells me to reply right away. I don't want that. Is there a way to turn off this feature?

Hopefully someone can help me. I am creating an installer which includes some properties in the build specs. I also wannt to include some registry keys to be added upon installation:
1. I include the install directory of the application by providing the key with the value [INSTALLDIR]. This seems to work well and I have no problem with this.
2. The other key I would like to include (but I do not know how) is the date and time of installation. Is there a way of automatically including this in a registry key (similar to INSTALLDIR)?

afaik the setting for "Run as Admin" is per OS process. As the "Run Exe after installation" is a different process as the application you installed by it (e.g. "MyApplication.exe"), i wouldn't expect the MyApplication.exe to require/use admin-rights.

If you need a secure backup, you might have to do it on a separate USB hard drive.

How to reset Quick Time Streaming Server localhost:8000

When I set up Quick Time Streaming Server using http://127.0.0.1:1220/ somehow it screwed up http://localhost:8000 I can no longer get any stream from localhost:8000 when I use iTunes to listen to it.
How do I reset the port? The localhost:8000 port works perfectly fine on my other Mac when I did not started Quick Time Streaming Server on it. It only caused me problem on the Mac that I started Quick Time Streaming Server.
Maybe a better question is: How do I delete Quick Time Streaming Server completely?

I've seen conflicting reports on DSS on Lion. One post elsewhere here claimed that DSS won't work on Lion, but provided no details. This site claims that it does:

All I can suggest is trying it. Or if it's not too late, you could return your Lion-based Mini and purchase a refurbished mini with Snow Leopard Server; Apple still lists it in the Apple Store's refurb section.
Broadcaster can send a stream directly to one or a very small number of clients, but depended on a relay through QTSS/DSS for serving a significant number of viewers. Apple never provided much in the way of documentation beyond the Help files in QTB, but if you do a web search, you'll find some tutorials. If you want something more robust and more fully supported, you might want to look into a third-party product like Wirecast:

How to disable REAL TIME QUERY in DG 11gr2 ?

Hi,
With 11gr2, by default, on STARTUP, the standby database is open
-> in READ ONLY mode
-> with Intended State: APPLY-ON
so the ACTIVE DATAGUARD option is in use ....
is there a way to deactivate REAL TIME QUERY permanently,
so whether on STARTUP or STARTUP MOUNT, the standby stay only mounted with Intended State: APPLY-ON
The only way i found is to do the following :
SQL> startup
DGMGRL> edit database 'PHNXENT' set state='APPLY-OFF';
then
SQL> startup mount
DGMGRL> edit database 'PHNXENT' set state='APPLY-ON';
but this can leads to mistake ....

it is for standalone database (not RAC)
yes, users can start the database with mount option, but they have to keep in mind that they do not have to issue a "STARTUP",
so it is a production rule that oracle doesn't handle.
Second, it will give a little more complexity in startup scripts (first mount, identify the role, and then open if it is a primary.
In 10gr2 just startup in all cases ....
that's why i'd like to know if there is a possibility to permanently disable REAL TIME APPLY ...

I m trying to render a time lapse video on PS CS5 and the process works well up until the export window. When i go there the first option under file options, quick time export, is unavailable( grayed out). The only available option is Image sequence. What do i have to do to enable the quicktime movie creation or any other movie format for that matter?
i am using photoshop cs5..

This usually means that the relevant auxiliary components (qtserver32.exe etc.) were not launched/ initialized due to being blocked by some external influence liek a virus scanner or a firewall or the user not having sufficient privileges to launch system level services and load drivers... and of course you will need to install Quicktime in the first place.

I have a Aironet 1231 with IOS 12.3(8)JEB1. I have enabled SNTP, but it still shows the time and date that are configured manually. How do you disable the manual time setting?

Once you are syncronized with your time server the manual field is filled with the current date and time. check under the time server address for the word Syncronized if you don't see it your AP has not been able to reach the time server.
also be sure to check the Event log configuration and select the time format. you will probably want to select local for the time stamp display.

You may be mixing and/or confusing terms here. The "circular selection tool" (Elliptical Marquee Tool) and the "quick selection tool" are two different things.
To avoid long explanations of how those work, I'll go right to what I suspect your problem is:
Based on your description, you're using the elliptical marquee tool, and not getting a hard-edged selection. The most common cause of that is you've got a feather value "stuck" in the marguee selection tools' settings. Put it back to 0.
It has nothing to do with "quick selection."

Microsoft allows this (not explicitly though)
I ran the Health Analyzer rule for "Databases used by SharePoint have fragmented Indexes" for all servers.
I am still seeing a lot of cluster and non clustered indexes having avg_fragmentation_in_percent
> 60%.
SELECT * FROM sys.dm_db_index_physical_stats (7, NULL, NULL, NULL , 'DETAILED');
I finally thought that I should rebuild the indexes to fix the issue, but please suggest if that is not the correct approach to resolve the high fragmented indexes.

I would like to save some tasks in reminder as below.
math hw 4:00-5:00
review lecture note 5:00-7:00
something like this.
but whenever saving an task with time-from ( e.g math hw 4:00-5:00 )
reminder automatically set its time by parsing words and remove the time part.
so only "math hw" is saved as title.
can anyone know how to save without parsing?
This feature sometimes bother me in calendar, as well.
