How to disable specific metrics

Hi all,
How do I disable a specific metric from being run/gathered? For example, I only wish to disable the 'User Logon Time (msec)' metric but this seems associated with the 'State' and 'Status' metrics which I do not want to disable. Is it possible to only disable the 'User Logon Time (msec)' without disabling the others? If so, how please?

It was just an example but thanks for the insight. I appreciate it since I have been requested to disable this and now have the knowledge before-hand.
I think I have my answer though, it's not possible to disable an individual metric that is grouped with multiple associated metrics.
If I am wrong here someone please reply and let me know.

    I am trying to stay within the 'Standard One' License of Oracle BI
    As there is no seperate install for the Standard One Edition, we have to install the enterprise edition and manaully disable features which fall outside of this licence e.g The ‘Standard One Edition’ hides Enterprise features such as Delivers , Score-Carding, KPI Builder, Segment Trees, List formats etc.
    We have been able to how to disable such features by turning off certain privileges through the administration page under the security section. (As per the first link in my original post)
    However we want to write a script that will acheive this

    Hi, I have an old iMac - 2007 - the oldest kid on the block that can support Mavericks... I am very happy about that, and actually thepeformance on my old dude improved tremendously after upgrading to mavericks... Love it.
    I have one minor issue though. I can't upgrade iMovie on it because my video card is not supported. But I can't find a way to disable the update either... It keeps poping up and asking me to upgrade iMovie. Is there a way to disable this just for iMovie? I love the autoupgrades... don't want to disable it completely though.

    Some folks report that if you mouse over the text of the update description and right click, you are given the option to choose to ignore the update. Others report that doesn't work for them.

  • How to disable iMessage for a specific contact/How to unregister iMessage from former device

    I switched from an iPhone 4 to a Galaxy S3. When my wife who still has an iPhone 4 tries to text me it still sends the message as an iMessage and I NEVER receive the text on my Galaxy S3. It still shows the little blue bubble next to my name when starting a new text thread. So I checked with about 4 other iPhone users that text me on a regular basis and I'm not receiving any of their messages either.
    If the iPhone users turn off iMessage the text comes right through. However I dont expect all the iPhone users on my contact list to turn off the iMessage feature just so they can text me.
    I no longer have my old iPhone. I traded it in at Best Buy so there's no way of going back in the phone to change any settings. The iPhone was wiped of all data and settings anyway before I traded it in.
    I took my wifes iPhone and deleted my contact. Then I added it back. Still shows my name as iMessage. I took my e-mail address out of my contact entry on her phone and it still shows my name as iMessage.
    I logged into "Apple Support - My Support Profile" to try to unregister my device as suggested in another forum but I can't get past the "enter your purchase date" page. It was a refurbished iPhone and the date I purchased the device didn't work. Theres no way I'll ever get the original purchase date since I wasn't the original buyer of that iPhone.
    Any suggestions?? This is an urgent matter as I NEED to receive text messages from my wife and other iPhone users. My wife is willing to turn off iMessage on her iPhone but I don't expect everyone else to.
    I need to find out how to unreigster my old iPhone completely from iMessage.... or find out how to disable a specific contact on my wife's iPhone from using iMessage.

    If you still have an iPhone handy and have the SIM card you used for the phone, then temporarily put your SIM into the other phone and go into Settings and turn of iMessage. If not, the only alternative that I know of is the Support profile, However, you may what to search the More Like This section on the right side of the thread to see if any of the entries there have a green checkmark meaning they are answered.

    The RPD hierarchies themselves have no security attributes on them. So your left with a workaround or two. First one that springs to mind :
    Create the report in question save this as 'Manager' report.
    Create the report in question, disable drilling on the column in question, save this as 'Reporter' report.
    Deploy both reports to the dashboard in seperate sections and use the section permissions (against the Webgroups those users exist in) to determine which section is displayed to which user.
    Maybe more options will come up from other users, but this one is a start.

    To be specific with the scenario if the client does not have the JRE installed, i would like to have it downloaded from the server where application runs instead of going to java.sun.com website which needs internet access.
    How can we configure it in such a way that it does not go to internet at all.

    I work in a company which manipulates its server in a way to make all unwanted sites look like not having a valid certificate so when I try to open them like gmail site I get a message that this site doesnt have a valid certificate and firefox - or any other browser- dont open the site. The question is: how to disable this feature in firefox to stop looking for sites certificates or doesnt care about them?

    Exporting a root certificate in another browser would only be helpful if it did work in that browser.
    If it happens in other browsers as well then it would be of any help.
    I'm not seeing the button to add an exception as that would allow to inspect the certificate in the Certificate Manager.
    Is that specific page opened in an (i)frame?
    If "I Understand the Risks" is missing then this page may be opened in an (i)frame and in that case try the right-click context menu and use "This Frame: Open Frame in New Tab".

    I can understand your concern & you need to worry about this, as your PC folders won't be available on other PC's as this option is just to browse through the files of the specific system on which you are working as shown in the screenshot below.
    Only the files uploaded on the Document cloud will be available over Internet using Adobe Document Cloud service upon the authentication of your Adobe ID & password.

    You can try the below steps on the OWA server box,
    search for this file name in explorer
    File name: "messageoptionsdialog.aspx"
    open this file in notepad
    search for "chkbcc" you'll find something like this "input type="checkbox" id="chkBcc"
    you need to update the LINE BEFORE IT to <td style="visibility:hidden">
    Try this and let me now if this worked
    Although I've not tried this for the OUTLOOK client, you can try this and check if you need
    But this has worked for OWA for one of my client
    I'm also not very sure if this can be achieved on all of your outlook users from a server admin point of view, coz this is a client feature and not a user specific active directory attribute.

  • How to disable Leap Motion app from startup?

    Hi, I installed the Leap Motion on my Mac running Mountain Lion. Whenever my computer boots up, the Leap Motion app automatically starts up as well. I tried checking the specific settings of Leap Motion but there was no configuration there. I also tried to look on the Startup Items (System Preferences > Users & Groups) but there was no entry regarding Leap Motion.
    Is there another way to check how to disable this from happening?

    Library/LaunchAgents
    Just rename from .plist to .bak - incase you would like to auto startup again.
    I believe Leap Motion chose to use LaunchAgent rather than 'Login Items' is because they couldn't get it to startup all the time.

    Instead of disabling the print buttons, you can restrict creating the actual output message for a specific output type.
    You can achieve it by creating the Output Requirement in transaction VOFM. You need to assign this requirement to your Output type. In this Requirement you can check all your conditions. If they all validation pass through than and than create the Output.

    With this Query Bean option you can separate the Search region from the results table. You map the items in the search region to the items in the result region. You can mark the item in the result table as Rendered=No. OAF will run the query against this item even though it's not displayed.

    Does anyone know how to disable telnet?  Do I need to modify the \etc\inetd.conf file in the Service account and then reload inetd to take effect?  Thanks.

    Can any one; pls help how to disable button (grey out) on some specific condition.
    I have a report of 2 pages; In first page it displays few records; once click on specific record control goes to next page 2; And here i have button (template based button); Once click on this it perform pl/sql procedure.
    My requirement is: The button should disable (should not hide) when moves from page 1 to page 2 based on some specific returned values in page 2.
    I have return code in button conditions (Condition type = PL/SQL Function Body Returning a Boolean)
    Sample code is:

    return false;
    else
    return true;
    end if;
    The above code is working fine with button completely disappers if the :value1 = 'disable_test_value' (which is suppossed to be as we gave return false).
    My question is: Is there any way; we can still show button (but button disabled or grey out; so that no action can perform on this button )? And also show some text message in other text field when button is disabled?

    I have an example: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=27168:1 using theme #2. You need to use a theme that has a "grayed-out" alternate button template.
    To accomplish this I:
    1) Created one item named P1_VALUE1 to contain the condition as to whether the button should be enable ("enable_test_value") or disabled ("disable_test_value").
    2) Created an enable button with a "Button Style" of "Template Based Button" with "Button Template" value of "Button". I had the "Condition" type of "PL/SQL Function Body Returning a Boolean" to be:
