How to disable the annoying Itunes sound effect in Vista

Vista users: Right click on your desktop, and then go all the way down and click "Personalize". Then in personalize, click "Sounds". Scroll down until you see the iTunes category. Then simply click the "Page load complete" sound and choose (None) as the sound.
Annoying sound DISABLED

This only works with "external" pop ups.
The sugggestion to restore auto complete comes from within Windows. A pop up killer wouldn't disable it.
The windows that pops up is telling me that I have auto complete currently turned off. Would I like to turn it back on ?
The answer is no, otherwise I wouldn't have turned it off in the first place.
What I would now like to do is get to the registry value that triggers this window and either change it or remove it altogether.

Yes, that will solve all problems and as well as your data. There are alternatives which I already mentioned here. You can search to find the answer, since it to complicate to do it again.

The employees from the administration complain all the time about the different types of security warning that they get when trying to run some applications which are used frequently.
Since the number of the users is too big it is unfeasible to go through all the users and disable the User Access Control at their account settings.
Is it possible to achieve this through given account policy settings. I want to perform the changes on the server so it applies to *all* (or maybe those of Administration department) users.
One useful information here can be the following: we use 2 different severs, the application which cause the errors are in the terminal server, and the users are in the main server. Where should I perform the changes?

It could sound like that one indeed. There are a few options to go for, however it should be fairly easy to find out :)
Create a test GPO and apply to a limited amount of users. GPUpdate and verify that the GPO has been applied using rsop.msc
Then open the application to test and see if it has the desired effect. You might need to change more than one setting, depending on the application and desired behavior.

Ok, so I don't want to shut off the startup sound. I like knowing that my Mini is on it's way. But I would like to change the sound. I wouldn't mind being able to set a shutdown sound and/or change sounds of other events. The PrefPane is not allowing me to get at what I really desire. Are there only third party pieces that will enable this?

Well....that is how its supposed to work in theory --
I think most people will find that it is not possible to change these settings as of the last OS update -- even if you have the "Zoom while holding" box deselected, it will still zoom if you touch it with two fingers -- and indeed, when you go back to check settings, you'll find that the box has been reselected. It doesn't really matter which of the three control keys you have selected to zoom -- it zooms with all of them, or none of them.

If you really wish to disable the update alert then the next time Software Update opens, select the update in the list then select "Ignore update" from SU's Update menu.

I just got an iPod Touch and I love it but I have a small problem with it. I'm really annoyed by the cliking sound the keyboard makes when you type. It's even more annoying that you can hear it without the headphones.

When user close the webi report viewer in inforview by click the button in the right-top of the webi report viewer frame. It always prompt a dialog to remind user that the modification will be lost without saving.
But customer need to disable this dialog, and can clost the report viewer directly.
So is there any ways to modify this?
I think it shoule modify some .js file under tomcat, but can not find the solution.

I've had the same issue bugging me since installing Snow, er, lion, er, cat, er, cougar, er, Mountain Lion. Incredibly ANNOYING.
It's stupid stuff like this and reverse scrolling that really turn long-timer users off. I'm personally glad Forstall got fired for blunders such as these.
I'm serious peeved that turning off iCloud Documents & Data actually deletes documents and data locally. That's just incredibly stupid.
