I updated iTunes and tried doing a soft reset holding down home and sleep. Then I realized on the screen that says "connect to iTunes", on the top right it would say "iPod" and in the middle it would show a little lock symbol. I was told this ment it was disabled and that's why it wouldn't work. But how would I restore it or reset it if I cannot get passed the connect to itunes screen and it wont connect to the computer. Same basic way as if you connect it to your syncing computer. However, you ned to restore to factory defaults/new iPod since there is not backup on the foreign computer.
