How to disable the Language dependent option for 0PROJECT and 0WBS_ELEMT

Hi Friends,
            Some Info Objects are re installed in latest version that's why DBW and QBW is not sinked. that's why giving transports errors.
           In DBW both Info Objects(0PROJECT and 0WBS_ELEMT) having the option text language dependent is checked. I go for disable that option it is not accepting to disable.
          when i am going to delete the data from both the info objects it's not deleting the data from both the objects. it is giving message some master data is not deleting.
       Please give me solution for this how to disable text language dependent option for both the objects.

Hi Rajesh,
i did that changes in RSD1 but not accepting that change.
It is showing the error message for The Text Table /BI0/TPROJECT must be converted incompatibly with an activation of characteristic 0PROJECT (changes to the key in the table). Table /BI0/TPROJECT contains data. Parts of this data were lost in the conversion.
Please give me help for solving this issue.

UCM - WEBDAV - How to Disable the New Folder option in the action popup

I am trying to implement WebDav functionality. I don't want the users to create folders in the folder mapped to a security group. As long as the user has privilege to contribute to the security group he/she can checkin documents but they should not be able to create folder under it. I did not find documentation as to how to disable the new folder option in the context action menu that pops up on mouse right click. Is there any way we can do that?

This is the boilerplate text often used in connection to networks in general. It is impossible to troubleshoot someone else's network remotely, and that's why it's not supported by Adobe:

I can deselect it with the magic wand but not with the quick selection. Any ideas?

I don't think you can, but in the refine edge dialog you can use the contrast setting to get rid of most of the anti-alias.

Sorry Noel - create an extended desktop and open photoshop - create a file the same size as your second monitor and drag it over to the second screen. Press F to make it full screen and Ctl 1 to make it actual pixels. We now have just what we require for projection mapping onto say a building assuming the second monitor is a projector. Now take a brush and stamp it in the middle of your page - which is on the second monitor, photoshop itself is on your Ist monitor. If you press hold Shift down and stamp your brush at the edge of your full page you will see it jump too the side. It will also do this if you try to drag a selection too close to the edge. The page will begin to scroll to accomodate the selection which is perhaps useful in some circumstances but in others like to projection map it is a horror because we need the page to remain exactly where it is at all times or it will no longer be `registered` to the architecture previously done. Beleive me
this can be deeply frustrating when you are out in the cold trying to get all the facets of a building mapped, but even when in the warm trying to do it with a theatre set.
Should you have a solution then you would indeed become much revered in these parts - best wishes John --

How to disable the annoying security warning for all users in Windows Server 2008 R2

Hi,
The employees from the administration complain all the time about the different types of security warning that they get when trying to run some applications which are used frequently.
Since the number of the users is too big it is unfeasible to go through all the users and disable the User Access Control at their account settings.
Is it possible to achieve this through given account policy settings. I want to perform the changes on the server so it applies to *all* (or maybe those of Administration department) users.
One useful information here can be the following: we use 2 different severs, the application which cause the errors are in the terminal server, and the users are in the main server. Where should I perform the changes?

It could sound like that one indeed. There are a few options to go for, however it should be fairly easy to find out :)
Create a test GPO and apply to a limited amount of users. GPUpdate and verify that the GPO has been applied using rsop.msc
Then open the application to test and see if it has the desired effect. You might need to change more than one setting, depending on the application and desired behavior.

How to set the parameter selection *optional* for each subreport?

Hi,
I am using Crystal Reprots 11.
I create 10 subreports, and each subreport contains a Parameters Field.
The 10 subreports are put in 10 footer sections in increasing order, i.e. subreport1, subreport2, subreport3, ..., subreport10.
When I use "Print Preview" to take a look at the whole report, CR prompts a "Edit Values" window for selecting parameter values for all 10 subreports.
For example, if I only select parameter values for subreport1 and click "OK", 9 error messages on the "Edit Values" window come out above the selection list box of every other subreports (i.e. subreport2 ~ subreport10) showing that: 'The value is not valid'.
Sometimes, I just want to review some specific subreports but not all.
How should I do to set the parameter selection optional (not mandatory) for each subreport?

Hi,
Here's how you can make the prompts optional (Assuming you're using CR 2008 or higher):
1) Go into each subreport
2) You should see the parameter in the Field Explorer. Right-click the name and select Edit > Look for an option called 'Optional Prompt'. Set it to true
3) If you have a record selection in the subreport, then you need to modify the selection formula to something like this:
if not(hasvalue({?Parameter_Name})) then True else = {?Parameter_Name}

2. when the SC has 2 line items and in that if any one of the line item is rejected and other one is approved by the approver and the requester is receiving it for accept changes and when he click on the change button and wants to change the line item of the rejected one, the change is getting disabled but for the approved line item the requester can able to do the changes.

How to disable the FULL SCREEN option in the 'Insert Video and Audio' option

Hi,
I've been inserting some MP3's and using an image for pupils to click on to play the sound, the images are 100 pixels by 100 pixels.
The only issue is that I have the grey rectangle 'Full Screen' box over the picture. This is ideal when I put videos on but not necessary when you have just an MP3. Also I've noticed that the 'Styles' option is greyed out and due to that I can't change the
colour of the play button.
I've been inserting MP3's direct from my PC hard drive to the webpage.
Any help'd be greatly appreciated.

Per my understanding, you might want to disable the “Full Screen” button and make other customization when there is an audio file in the page.
By default, when we insert an audio/video file into page via “Insert Video and Audio” button in the ribbon, an OOTB Media Web Part will be added into the page contains
the file you added, the “Full Screen” button is a part of this Media Web Part.
In consideration of you might have other requirements on designing the style, I would suggest you create a custom Media Web Part instead which will enable you customize
the style as you want.

How to use the scene deconstruction option for Avatar

I am able to access all the iTunes extras feature for Avatar except the Scene Deconstruction feature. Whenever I use any of the 3 options available in scene deconstruction it just opens up a blank grey screen with Final, picture in picture, template and capture text and the pause sign. Nothing shows or plays I have been at it for over 2 days now. Will someone help me or guide me to a video where I can learn how to use this feature?

How to disable the print "ALL" feature for users?

Is there a way to limit the user from printing an entire Adobe Acrobat document by accident. We have many documents that are 50 pages and more and often times, the user only needs to print several pages but because of CCS (Continual Clicking Syndrome), they blast right through the print menu and send the whole document to the printer.
The easiest way would be to disable the "ALL" feature (radio button) in the "Print Range" field. However, I do not know if that is available or if there is code I can enter in each document.

However, you can create buttons on your document that "help" the user print
just a part of the document: a certain page range, just the current page,
etc.

How to specify The Language in Which Siebel Installers and Wizards Run

Yes (i think) i have read all about it in the manuals, but cannot find the solution to my problem :-(
I am currently installing Siebel SBA 8.1.1.0 on a Windows 2003 SP2 server. This server has the following regional and language settings;
- regional options - standards and formats : Dutch (Netherlands)
- Location : Netherlands, the
- Languages : Default input language English - US
The following environment variables are set;
system variable LANG=ENU
system variable SIEBEL_LANGUAGE=ENU
When starting any installer or wizard using the arguments "-args LANG=ENU" the installer or wizard language is still Dutch. Both in GUI as in Console Mode.
Currently i am only able to start the installers or wizards in English when the regional options are changed. I could not find any issues on metalink, google etc.
Does anybody have a way to to start the installers in a specific language without having to modify the regional options ?

For other people that have the same problem, I've figured it out by now:
1) The language you select in the creative cloud packager is not for the Creative Cloud App, only for the applications you package
2) The Creative Cloud App Language is set by the language of the OS ... this has nothing to do with the Creative Cloud Packager
3) When the Creative Cloud App starts in a specific language ... only the packages installed for this language are detected
4) If you want to change the language of the Creative Cloud App and you had packages installed under the previous language, you have to download (or install) them again under the current language to be visible / updatable again under the current language
For me this means:
option1: I package all the applications in dutch (since all CC for teams applications are multilanguage)
option2: I notify all users (or use active setup or any other alternative) to manually change the language to english ... otherwise no packages will be visible

that account groups are the highest admins in the complete forest(enterprise admins), means ALL domain in that forest and the domain admins are highest accounts in the domain.
So whatever restriction you set. A member from that groups can revert every setting you make.

Is it possible to disable the touch volume feature for keyboards and other instruments?

By this i mean when you need to tap hard for loud volume and soft for low. it doesn't work very well and id prefer for the volume to always be as loud as possible instead of me having to tap my iPad really hard constantly to get the volume. If i want something low i can just lower it on the other screen.

Yes, for keyboards, there is a slider on the left side of the screen that is labeled "Velocity". To make it play at the loudest velocity only, touch and hold the bottom of the slider as you slide it to the top.
For drums, when you have the drumset on the screen, tap the little 3-slider icon near the top right and choose "Velocity Sensitivity"... to have the drums sound their loudest for every hit, turn this to "off".
I may be wrong, but I don't think you can change the velocity of the smart guitars or bass.

TextField: how to disable the accent input window for e,o,a keys

I have a TextField and when I keep one of the keys 'e', 'a' or 'o' pressed I see an odd new window that allows me to enter accent characters using the mouse. Since this new window is displayed at the wrong position (somewhere below my actual Stage) I'd like to disable it but haven't found something in the JavaDoc.

But what's the point? It's not as though you'd actually be able to prevent the page source from being obtained by a determined user.
