How to display a whole statement string ?
We use an OraclePreparedStatement to prepare some inserts into a database.
Before executing the statement, we'd like to be able to display the whole string with bound variables values (instead of '?').
Problem is we don't see any method in the (Oracle)PreparedStatement that returns the SQL string ready to be executed ...
Does anybody knows how wecould do ?

The parameters are not bound as literals, so you won't be able to see them.
On the plus side, it means that the statement is only prepared once and subsequent executions only need to reference the handle of the original statemnet and provide the new bind values, which saves time in the SQL engine and network traffic.

I am working on a underlyinge R/3 4.7 system and are working with standalone ITS and ESS 50.4. I am posting this question to find out if any of you has experience with my problem.
The business wishes to use the ITS transation PZ04 standard and wish to be able to display different Time Statement forms in the transaction through customized variants for the report(RPTEDT00) that the PZ04 transaction executes. In the IMG it is posted that one variant has to be created called HRESS_TEDT00 and this works, but restricts the PZ04 transaction to always be called with this variant and therebye the same Time Statement form every time.
I then by debugging found that the underlying ABAP code processed from SAP standard has a variable VARIANT that is hardcode to = HRESS_TEDT00.
The question is: Is there anyway to setup the PZ04 transaction so that it can be dynamic decided which variant should be used, f.ex. from persons subarea from infotype 0001?
Looking forward to here if anybody can help.

I usedthe stat tool (i.e. iostat) and sar to record performance data. However, none of these tools can display their results in a graph. I know that Windows has Performance Monitor, which records and displays results in a graph.

kSar is a java application that can graph output from "sar -A". It also has threshold tagging, so you can find bottlenecks easily. -

GP - How to display a long string value
I'm trying to display a really long string value and then allow the user a couple of result state choices (to either go back and do another search or finish).
None of the forms (WD, display, etc.) will display a really long string.
I tried using a loop type decision dialog, but there doesn't appear to be a way of having it pick up a parameter value as the message (or part of the message) to display.
I can get it to display in the complex type decision dialog, but I don't need the group/options and I can't seem to get rid of the second set of buttons that show up (the long string parameter value was put into the 'Info Texts' area and does display ok).
Is there any easy way of displaying the complete contents of a long string value and have buttons for results states? I'd even be happy if I could just display the whole string and use a separate callable object for the choices.

CindyI think you should try calling a JAVA or ABAP Webdynpro as the callable object. As you know, we can display long texts in the webdynpro fields. Other alternative is an Adobe form as well.

</html>am displaying taxCodes(in this case i have VAT and ICD) fine but cant figure out how to display a list of value for each taxCode.Here is the output am getting
both in my JSP and on the console:

I have tried this as stated earlier in the post:I have tried to make the method getItemTaxDetails return a List and get the returned list value as taxDetails. I then tested to display this list on JSP and its displaying fine.

I have created an classic SQL Report with one of the columns being a decode that gives a value 'Post'(the value should be highlighted in Red) on one condition and 'Pre' on another. I have followed the advice given in the page (URL provided above) , i.e. I have changed Strip HTML to 'No', changed Display as to 'Display as text (escape special characters, does not save state)'. I have also passed this value back to the same page to be stored in a page item each time a link (another column in report) in report is clicked. I have tried passing it as #DEADLINE# and \#DEADLINE#\. The issue I face is, instead of the value being highlighted in Red, it gets passed back as a string holding the value 'Post'. Is there any way I can get this to display as it should without the Strip HTML being changed to 'Yes'.

You can't pass HTML and CSS around in URL parameters.
I suggest you pass *2* values in the column link: the MGR ID and a simple class or colour value computed by the DECODE in the report. I've suppressed the first version of the report and created a new one that does this:
decode(dept.deptno, '30', 'c00', '000') highlight The link column now passes the MGR ID and the HIGHLIGHT colour (red when the condition is satisfied and black when it is not).
I created another hidden and protected page item <tt>P0_HIGHLIGHT</tt> as the target for the highlight value, and used the Pre/Post Element Text properties of the <tt>P0_G_MGR</tt> to wrap it in a <tt>span</tt> whose colour is changed using the <tt>P0_HIGHLIGHT</tt> value as a subtitution string:
<span style="color: #&P0_HIGHLIGHT.;">Having done that, I still don't really get the requirement here. I'm sure that given the full picture I'd be using a completely different approach... -
