How to display database name in page footer in webi report

Hi Every one,
I have migrated deski report from BO 6.5 to BI 4.1. and converted Deski to WEBI in 4.1.
In Bo 6.5 page footer displaying database name but BI 4.1 it showing database type (like Oracle 10g,9i ..etc..).
I want database name in page footer.
Please any one help me to solve this issue.

We have tried this option but its not helpful.
Below syntax is in both BO 6.5 and BI 4.1.but in 6.5 it showing database name where as in BI 4.1 it showing database type

I've tried to create a "URL" region on Y but this doesn't work and I generally think this is blind way.
Next I've found an internal function "flows_020100.wwv_flow_disp_page_plugs()" that works pretty well (PL/SQL type region with calling the function) except that is displaying only regions on the same page. I know it's dirty hack but ...

END-OF-PAGE not displayed in the last page of the classical report.

Hi all..
The END-OF-PAGE is not displayed in the last page of the classical report.
SY-LINCT value is 30.
Lines displayed in the report per page is 24.
[3 for TOP-OF-PAGE and 3 for END-OF-PAGE]
My Internal table has 6942 records.
It comes 289 pages with 24 records in a page and 290 th page with 6 records.
The END-OF-PAGE is not coming for the 290 th page.
Please help.

Can you please tell me how to display all the surveys using content query web part in more details? I also created a subsite and multiple surveys in that site. Then, I inserted a Content Query Web Part and select the List Type to be "Survey",

Content Types and it has the following structure:
Response entry is represented by
List Item
Response entry consist of questions and answers, where Question correspond to
Field and Answer to Item value respectively.
For querying Survey List via CQWP the following properties could be used

How to disable the reminding dialog when close the webi report viewer
Background
When user close the webi report viewer in inforview by click the button in the right-top of the webi report viewer frame. It always prompt a dialog to remind user that the modification will be lost without saving.
But customer need to disable this dialog, and can clost the report viewer directly.
So is there any ways to modify this?
I think it shoule modify some .js file under tomcat, but can not find the solution.

I've had the same issue bugging me since installing Snow, er, lion, er, cat, er, cougar, er, Mountain Lion. Incredibly ANNOYING.
It's stupid stuff like this and reverse scrolling that really turn long-timer users off. I'm personally glad Forstall got fired for blunders such as these.
I'm serious peeved that turning off iCloud Documents & Data actually deletes documents and data locally. That's just incredibly stupid.

1. Define a new measure in the designer.
2. In the select clause give the reference to the key figure on which restriction to be applied.
For example
@Select(Key Figures\Number of Records)
3. In the where clause, give the MDX expression for the filter to be applied.

Sorry forever to get back. Going to throw this up here quick
so I dont time out, but if you need further help post back and I
will help with specific questions.
Using the City, State example. This operation is two fold.
(a) the search page, and (b) the results page.
(a) On your search page you would have two fields. City and
State. Make sure your table that holds these fields are containted
within a form tag. (Insert > Form > Form). Also make sure
your textfields have names. You can click on the textfield to
highlight in design view and change the name from 'textfield' and
'textfield1' to 'city' and 'state'..
Highlight the form tag and in the properties panel where it
says "action" insert the URL/file of your results page. This is the
page that is actually going to display the information, then save
your work.
(b) Open up your results page, and in the bindings panel
click the "+" then select query. In the 'simple' window name your
recordset (example: rsStores) select your connection, then select
the table you desire to display results from. From this window you
can also choose a field to use as an order by. Do not use the
filter!
With this done and 'without' saving yet, click on the
"advanced" tab. You should now see and a simple statement in the
window that looks something like:
SELECT *
FROM Stores (The name 'Stores' will actually be replaced with
your table name)
Below the statement you will see 'parameters' with a + and -.
Hit the plus to add a parameter. For name use varState, for Type
use text, for Value use Request("State") and for default value use
zero. Replicate the process for varCity using Request("City") for
the value. (The requests are the same names as the names you used
to name your fields in the search form). Now go up to the original
statement and edit it to look like this:
SELECT *
FROM Stores WHERE yourfieldname = varState AND WHERE
yourfieldname = varCity
Replace 'yourfieldname' with the actual field name holding
the values. Keep EVERYTHING case sensitive. Testing in design view
will not work because there are no values yet passed. So click ok,
save the page and upload them to server. Test by going to the
search page and submitting the search form.

I am very new to using Apex.
I have a SQL Report which I can output to a PDF and works.
I have a header and the contents of the report all appearing in the PDF OK.
I would like to have a footer for each page which has the date & timestamp, current users full name and page n of nn.

hi, In smart form i trying to dispaly carry forward total and page total in footer, the first statment
of the footer only displaying, next one not displaying. But each page in footer i have to dispaly both carry forward total and page total. how to do this?

This is a tricky solution.
Split the footer into two.
i.e create two windows with the property of footer.
Now use the first window to display a result and second window to display the next result.
This will surely work .
Just take care of the formatting.

I am facing a problem with smartform footer. I have to display purchase order line items in Main Area of the table. All the lines items are displaying fine. These line items are dynamicaly increase means line items may increase depends on the purchase order. So, 15 lines of the footer will display only on last page.

In ABAP, we can use class <b>cl_http_client</b> to send a http requst and then got the response data as a XSTRING variable. Usually, the response data is the html source of a web page. How to display this web page within dynpro?
I found we can use class <b>cl_gui_html_viewer</b> to display the web page of a URL or data in SAP web respository. Is there any way of using it to load response data in cl_http_client and display that web page?

1. use http_client->response->get_cdata( ).
to get the response data in string format instead of xstring format.
2. use FM CONVERT_STRING_TO_TABLE to covert the string to table of type W3HTML
3. use method
data: l_doc_url(255) type c.
      call method html_control->load_data
                  exporting
                     type         = 'text'
                     subtype      = 'html'
                  importing
                     assigned_url = l_doc_url
                  changing
                     data_table   = html_table.
call method html_control->show_data
                  exporting
                     url       = l_doc_url.
to load the html content and show it in cl_gui_html_viewer

I would like as simply and fast as possible to determine the database name, which I am currently connected to. Maybe the property jbo.sql92.JdbcDriverClass would do, but how to get its value ? Thanks for any suggestions.

don't understand that, why you don't use the session, when you are in BC4J (AM.getSession()) - which will give you at least the URL you connect too (in case you use a datasource - bad luck, as it is defined within the container ..)
