How to Display Multiple Rows in Business Logic Editor

Hi Friends, I took the standard BAPI: BAPI_MATERIAL_GETLIST and followed the SAP- xMII documentation. It is not showing any records. Does any one have good example. Please let me know.
If I run the same BAPI from R3 system, it is showing 7 records.
Can I display the data in Business Logic editor? Please help.

I have gone through your post and I think that the info provided by yu is not sufficent to answer yur question exactly but i would suggest yu the following solutions :-
1. It may be the case that yu are not looping on the Response XML from the BAPI. You need to loop on the repeating node of the Response XML of the BAPI and on each loop yu need to append the record read to a xMII Output XML document using Row structure. Finally Yu can assign the document to the Output variable.
2. Check for the type of Output Variable. I guess that it's String type. In that case, convert it to xml type.

Multiple inserts do only work with parametrized statements, usually used in interfaces like JDBC, ODBC etc.
With static SQL statements it is not possible.

I have created one form and one Table where I want to display POItems. I am writing my logic of retrieving data from BAPI in CAF.I am connecting them in Guided procedures.When I run my process in Guided Procedures I am getting single row displayed in table. Can Anyone help me how to display multiple rows in table.

if the BAPI returns a table, then you get multiple rows. From which system is the BAPI, so that I can check the BAPI to give you further information.

best practices when deleting multiple rows is to do this on the business service, not the view layer for performance reasons. When you selected the rows to delete and press submit, then in a managed bean you access thetable instance (put a reference to a managed bean from the table "binding" property") and call getSeletedRowKeys. In JDeveloper 11g, ADF Faces returns the RowKeySet as a Set of List, where each list conatins the server side row key (e.g. oracle.jbo.Key) if you use ADF BC. Then you create a List (ArrayList) with this keys in it and call a method exposed on the business service (through a method activity in ADF) and pass the list as an argument. On the server side you then access the View Object that holds the data and find the row to delte by the keys in the list

Set the table range size property to the number of rows you want to display.
Then as a post-generation action, drag and drop the Next Set and Previous Set operations of your View Object usage as buttons onto your page.
Then move the button code to a custom template, and uncheck group-level checkbox "Clear Page Definition before generation" to preserve the NextSet and PreviousSet action bindings.

how to get multiple rows on a form from a table using smartforms.I succeded in getting only the first row of the table on the main window of the page .In order to display more than one record on the page what i have to do.

You have to use LOOPS / TEMPLATES to achieve this

hey i not sure abt structs, what i did for jsp was using a boolean.

take note that the class is a predefined css. I think u can use style="background-color:#red "

in layout structure you will find field SEL_MODE
pass :
LS_LAYOUT-SEL_MODE = 'A'.
In PAI.
CALL METHOD GRID->GET_SELECTED_ROWS
    IMPORTING
      ET_INDEX_ROWS = T_ROWS
      ET_ROW_NO     = T_ROWID.

The issue is caused by the order in which the parameters appear in the report data tab can be difference between our report execution and it failing. In other words, “Parameter2” is execution before parameter “A” due to this issue. We can adjust the parameter’s
order to solve the issue.
If “Parameter2” is parameter “A”, we cannot use that expression. Because fields cannot be used in report parameter expression, if we want to display the first value returned from a query as default value, we have to fill the “Specify values” text box with
the specific value in Default Values dialog box.

Often the situation is such that you have multiple courses across a range of dates.So students may take more than one course, and you need to track attendance for each course date. The following graphic demonstrates this:

Displaying multiple rows in html

Hi folks, another newbie question for you:
Is it possible to have an HTML area which displays multiple rows of a query?
I can get the page to display the first row of the query but I need all the possible rows to show up (in new lines where possible....). It's to be displayed as a final report for an application, pulling in details from numerous tables, so a normal report page was a no no. Can anybody help??

It's kind of difficult to explain but the report heading is taken from one table. the next paragraph (a list of people) is taken from another table (but dependant on the title info - place date etc..). the rest of the information is using data from three tables depending on (yet again) the title (which is an LOV returning an ID just now). the rest of the information is broken into sections which are headed by two lots of info from two of the three tables and sectioned by item from these two tables. If I tried one query I'd end up with LOTS of copies of the same info all over the shop. All I need is the pl/sql to check a table and return the info from the only column I need from that table, display the mulriple rows in a section and I can do the rest I think. As I said, I can display the first row and that's it.....
sorry if that was confusing and long-winded (welcome to my day... :) )
