How to display outsream from a servlet in a JSP

I wrote a jsp file to call a Servlet, then want to display the result from the servlet in another jsp file. Anyone can give me possible solution or an example to illustrate it.

I would suggest that you use the Servlet to retrieve the data you are after and store it in the session. Then forward the user onto the JSP page where it can retrieve the object from the session and present it to the user in a formatted view.

I get text from JSP. The servlet does what ever it does to the string.
Now. Ive create sessions and bean things,.... how the hell do I display it in a text box... I can display on the screen.. but not in the text box.!!!

hmmm, I dont really like using JSP programming, u should be using JAVA..
the way to do it is:
Call and cast to the bean like this:

then... all you do is call it like this:

What I would like to do is as follows:
I have a fantasy hockey league website. For each team I have
a team page (clubhouse) which is generated using PHP/MySQL. The one
area I would like to clean up is the displaying of the divisional
standings on the right side. As of right now, I use a URL variable
(division = id2) to grab the needed data, which works ok. What I
want to do is clean up the url abit.
So far the url is
clubhouse.php?team=Wings&id=DET&id2=Pacific, in the end all
I want is clubhouse.php?team=Wings.
I have a separate table, that has the teams entire
information (full team name, short team, abbreviation, conference,
division, etc. so I was thinking if I could somehow do this:
Recordset Team Info is filtered using URL variable team
(short team). Based on what team equals, it would then insert this
variable into the Divisional Standings recordset.
So example: If I type in clubhouse.php?team=Wings, the Team
Info recordset would bring up the Pacific division. Then 'Pacific'
would be inserted into the Divisional Standings recordset to
display the Pacific Division Standings.
Basically I want this
SELECT *
FROM standings
WHERE division = <teaminfo.division>
ORDER BY pts DESC
Could someone help me, thank you.

Assuming two tables- teamtable and standings:
teamtable - which has entire info about the team and has a
field called
"div" which has the division name say "pacific" and you want
to use this
name to get corresponding details from the other table.
standings - which has a field called "division" which you
want to use to
give the standings
SELECT * FROM standings AS st, teamtable AS t
WHERE st.division = t.div
ORDER BY pts DESC
Instead of * you could be specific on what fields you want to
select ..
something like
SELECT st.id AS id, st.position AS position, st.teamname AS
team
You cannot lose until you give up !!!

Select the set of bullets. Go to the "Build" panel of the Inspector. Choose "Build In". Choose your effect. Select "By Bullet Group" under delivery.

     I am processing the contents of a html form using a servlet. After processing the
information received and storing it into a javabean I am trying to pass control onto a jsp for
display. At this stage the jsp does not display as desired due to a URL challenge. The URL
which references my jsp is:
http://localhot/ferngully/prefset.jspThis url has been designated to the jsp page 'prefset.jsp' by the application specific web.xml
file (...I am using Tomcat 5!), the relevant contents of which follow:

I am using code within the servlet to forward control to the JSP, and I believe that this is the crux of my challenge.

how I can go about making the url returned to the client correct for accessing the jsp page? Do I need to delete the mapping entry for the
jsp page in web.xml? I am new to servlets & jsp so any help will be much appreciated.

new search page is provided , and on mentioning the search criteria ,a servlet is fired which returns a list of companies(tbasically i am creating a session object of resultset type which stores the companies name), now the servlets again goes back to search page, and here i want 2 display the company names, i am able to display company names in my search page , but now i want my user to select one of the companies from tht servlet.

How to display images on a servlet generated page???

Hi, I am developing an app in which I must display some messages, each message may have an image. The images are saved in the database. I do not want to save the image on the filesystem but instead of that I want to send the image as an attribute to the page but I dont know then how to display it. I have no idea about how to do that! Any help on this would be very appreciated!

mmm yes I know that the img tag displays an image but I am asking how to display the image without saving the file into the server filesystem, I mean something like:
1.- getting the bytes from the Database
2.- getting an Image object
3.- pasing it to the request as an attribute
4.- getting that attribute from the request
5.- displaying it on somehow directly from the image var or something.
the src parameter of the img tag takes as a string the path of the image, but i dont want to save it.

B2B Arch - How the Messages move from the Servlet to IP_IN_QUEUE

I am having one basic architectural question.
We have defined the Host Trading partner with the Delivery channel having the URI for the transport as b2b/transportServlet. While creating the agreement between this host trading partner with the other remote trading partner, we are using the standard Internal delivery channel as B2B Inbound, as we are doing the inbound interface. So, whatever the Inbound messages is coming from the remote trading partner it will enqueued into IP_IN_QUEUE.
I referred some of the documents, to know the architectural details how the message come into the IP_IN_QUEUE. Those document says that b2b/transportServlet is the entry point for all the Inbound messages. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am more interested to know what are all the intermediate steps involved in the movement fo the message from the b2b/transportServlet to IP_IN_QUEUE. Basically how the message move from b2b/transportServlet to the IP_IN_QUEUE.

I'd like to ask if someone know how to display region created on page X on page Y.
I've tried to create a "URL" region on Y but this doesn't work and I generally think this is blind way.
Next I've found an internal function "flows_020100.wwv_flow_disp_page_plugs()" that works pretty well (PL/SQL type region with calling the function) except that is displaying only regions on the same page. I know it's dirty hack but ...
Any ideas or hints how to solve this? Thanks ...
