How to Display the Contain records in OBIEE Report

as per above requirement it should be despaly UAE,AE if it contains.
Expected out put is
1002     XYZ     IN
          UAE
          USA
1003     PQR     IN
          UAE
          AE
i.e 1001 contains only IN, USA...but it's not contains any of the record in UAE or AE.
If it contains UAE or AE any one of the data it should display all the other countries.

Yeah...I was applied....but it not suitable answer that i was got.
If i apply a filter
Country ='UAE' or 'AE'. it will display only those two records right....for me if it contains any of the record...then it should display all.
Like Union, Union All, Intersect, minus....operators.

    The problem is that when I use the above SQL to show the t1.value, it will not display the t1.value in 2010 Jan.....it just skipped 'Jan' and becomes 'Feb'...
    what i would prefer to display is something like this:

    What's your database version?
    Are you using binary XML storage? (This is the default in 11.2.0.2)
    If not you have to explicitely specify it :
    create table xml_t2 (xml_raw XMLTYPE)
    xmltype column xml_raw store as securefile binary xml;Along with object-relational, it's the best storage strategy to use in conjunction with XMLIndex.
    You should also use a structured XML index instead, it's more appropriate than the unstructured index you're currently using :

  • How to display the real recording time of day in a video?

    I want to create a video in which the real recording time of day is displayed though the whole video.
    I already tried with the timecode generator, but this shows the time progress of the video being played back. What I need is the real recording TOD of every scene even after lots of cuts and trims and even after changing the clip speed.
    Does anyone have an idea, how this could be accomplished?

    Hi Wei,
    As far as I know the parent key needs to be initial for the top row. A workaround would be to create an additional attribute and fill it with an artificial parent key. In case you are using a DDIC structure at the node in question, you could add a sub node of 1:1 cardinality and place the attribute there.

    we have a requirement to show DFFs in OBIEE reports and i wanted to understand:
    - Will we have to create a custom column mapping in Informatica and custom field in data warehose table?
    - Should we modify the vanilla content or seprate code to be written and then create a join to OOTB tables?

    Thank you for the prompt reply.
    The DFF is a context sensitive DFF and by default it was not visible in the create absence window.
    I had used the below metalink note to activate the context sensitive DFF in the above screen when the employee launches the LOA.
    "Unable To Display Context Sensitive Additional Absence Details Dff In SSHR. [ID 466881.1]"
    However my problem is that neither the supervisor nor the final HR approver sees this context sensitive DFF fields in the "Notification Summary" page.
    The HR person can approve the leave and then go to core HR absence screen and then only see the DFF fields.
    Some decision regarding air tickets etc. needs to be decided before the leave can be approved.

    Here i have written like as follows.
    1.MyCrystalReportsViewer.ViewerCore.ReportSource = reportDocument;
    2. MyCrystalReportsViewer.ViewerCore.PrintReport();
    The above two statements  is executed and displayed the report in CrystalReportViewer, but it doesn't show any print dialogbox.
    MyCrystalReportsViewer is name of the CrystalReportsVIewer control.

    Did you download CR for VS SP 13 from this link?

    First link is to integrate CR into VS.
    If you did then I suggest you do a Repair on both VS and CR for VS.
    Also, VS must be Pro or higher, CR will not work in VS 2013 Express.
    Do you have printers installed? Do not use Windows XPS printer, it has problems.

  • How to show the columns dynamically in OBIEE report based on the selection?

    I have a requirement where the columns should be dynamically shown in report based on what we select in propmt page.
    I'm creating a report in OBIEE where i want to give an option to the end user to select the columns whichever he wants to see in the report.
    For example I have the following columns in the report already:
    Customer Name,
    Customer Number,
    Bank Account,
    Address
    I want to give an option to the user to select 'Customer Mail ID' dynamically and see the column to be displyed in the report along with the existing columns.
    Through 'Column Selector' user can select a single column at a time, but if he want to select more than one column, how can we do this ?

    Hi Chaithanya,
    there's not a straight solution for this. You can create different analysis containing different number of columns and then directing the user to this analysis using Action Links or you can also use View Selector to switch from one view (analysis) to the other. But it's not going to be very flexible nor dynamic.

    count(distinct TIMES.CALENDAR_MONTH_DESC by TIMES.CALENDAR_YEAR)
    Count will give you how many distinct months are in year.

    Thanks for the reply. But let me rephrase my question.  In the Bex we get a extra row called overall result in the result set which gives the correct  count/total/average based on exception aggregation.  The question is how we show the overall result row in the crystal or rather how can we map it into crystal.  So i thought as of now we should create a formula to compute the overall result and display it.

    Save youe file to transpose as a csv and in the header row of your file for the columns you want to transpose you need to put some soer of a tag before the column name (ie your colum header was for a period budget will be something lie 2011001:ZFIBDD)
    1. You will need to create a new apd process (rsanwb)
    2. Insert a "Read from Data File" data source object and map it file (,csv)
    3. insert a transpose object into your apd process (middle row 4th one over in the transformations section)
    4. under the definition tab in the transformation object select all the columns that are to be transposed into rows and move them to the transformed area, the grouping fields section should contain the rows that you want to now be columns
    5.under the transformation tab enter in the seperator you selected  under the Field Name/Infoobject area (ie. ZFIBDD)
    6. under the details tab  you need to enter in all the fields to be transformed and tner the transposition field (ie ZFIBDD)
    7. Then you can insert a set of transformations and a DSO and link the newly transposed fields into that.

    Hi,
    the BDCDATA structure must be fnam, fval,dynbegin,dynpro,program.
    You have to declare like this and pass this in your CALL TRANSACTION statement.
    Please give some other table name for BDCDATA you declared for and also for IBDCDATA.

    ive tried this here and it worked perfectly with me
    even so, you dont need to make the QTY as a dimension, you can leave it as a measure also, and it will work good with you.
    click the block on the WebI, the Block itself.
    and find its properties, under "Display", you will find
    "Avoid Duplicate row Aggregations"
    in the query it self you should flag "Retrieve Duplicated Rows"
    i think this will work fine with you
